The ivory she-cat sucked in a sharp breath and her eyes flicked from the ground to Darkfog, and back. She lay where she was in silence for a long moment, then she decided to get it over with. "Well I don't know how to put this." She began to break the silence, there was no going back now. Darkfog was right, she could tell him anything. "Well I er....Delirium aren't very strong right now, and they want kits to raise, and because of my fertility well, you ca guess what happened next?" She went on, but very softly and quietly, like any more noise and she would awaken something horrible. She gulped. "I am expecting kits, this gash on my face, Eclipseomen, she gave me it today, they wont leave me alone, they want the kits, I will give them their kits, I don't want anything to do with Shard, but....what if they never leave me alone?"

Letting her toes spread wide as claws shot out of each, the rough-looking, sour-faced she-cat darted through the mddle of camp, taking a running start as she bunched her lean frame and sprang forth to land squarely atop the fallen log, and in the same motion, she drew a breath, and turned to face her already gathering clan. Words flew through her head, but none made contact with her dry, fumbling lips. Instead, she pressed them together and summoned moisture into her mouth, and to quench her throat, yet still, her tongue thrashed for words until finally, she drew together a sentence. "Verti-" No. Not quite. Sucking in a deep breath, Lynxstar aroused her booming announcement voice. "VertigoClan, a trouble has befallen us." She nearly shouted into the crisp rosy dawn that flared into the dusk-blazen sky. Tensing herself, the she-cat shook out her ragged tawny pelt and straightened her spien to stand tall and proud before her warriors. With her words, she noted the many faces looking up at her expectantly turned to confusion and dread, hardening into those expression that she, as a leader, found herself loathing more than death. "It seems, to me, that it is difficult for the inhabitants of the Mountain Lake Territory, to go a full generation without provoking a war, but I know we are ready VertigoClan. Perilstar has declared some sort of 'love' for Vividstar, tricking her into joining with his clan. I know she has the best of intentions, but as for Perilstar, I see how no good comes of this except ambition. CelestialClan and TempestClan are merging." Feeling drained, her gaze turned pale, and she pads were suddenly sore, as her mind exhausted. "I will be going to meet Wreathedstar tomorrow morning, and after that, i'll give you the upcoming news. But for now, the only way I can think of keeping us safe is by creating an equal, or perhaps larger, force that that of this 'CipherClan'." Blinking, Lynxstar invited opinions with a flick of her tail.

Meeting with Wreathedstar tomorow?
Cloudstreak didn't feel great, and he had a pounding headache, but the tom made sure to talk to Lynxstar before retreating to the warriors den. He didn't know why his head hurt, and he hoped to StarClan that he wasn't sick. The tom made his way carefully and slowly to Lynxstar, his gave cast downward toward his paws, temples throbbing, heart racing. "Excuse me, Lynxstar," began the tom slowly. "I - I understand that you're visiting with Wreathedstar tomorrow, and I was wondering, are you meeting somewhere? Wreathedstar coming to VertigoClan, us -- you," he corrected himself, "going to ZephyrClan?" He paused and took in a breath. "Because, if you were going to Zephyclan, I'd like to know if you were planning on going alone," he meowed. "I understand that you're perfectly capable with going alone, that is, if you plan to meet Wreathedstar so-" the tom cut off. He just made himself look like a complete mousebrain. Didn't Lynxstar say that Wreathedstar was to meet her in --wait! No, she was to go to ZephyClan camp. All this thinking to back to the gathering was hurting his head all the more, but he straggled on. "I just thought that maybe you would want someone to accompany you, after all that has happened.." murmured the tom. He then began to back away, ever so slowly. Almost as if he was uncomfortable. Alas, that was true, but it was his head that was bothering him. He felt warm, and his head throbbed. It was just a headache, but he dd want some rest.

The small apprentice trudged into camp, her legs shaking with fear and exhaustion. Her lavender eyes were huge, and she took tiny kitten steps, fearful she would colapse right then and there. She looked around, wanting desperatly to fnd someone to talk to, Serenwinter in particular. Her newfound 'friend' as she might call it, was realy the only one Lavenderpaw had. She spotted the pretty ivory she cat speakign with Darkfog, looking sad and serious. She started over, but then stopped. As far as she knew, Sshe was the only one who knew Serenwinter was hacving kits. She sat, and watched them, flicking her ears to try and hear what the ywere saying, discretly as she could.

Veiledpaw trailed back to camp after the gathering, occasionally her eyes would flicker to Lynxstar, and back. What was the leader thinking? What was really on her mind? Her head was throbbing from her running into a tree, why did she have to be blind in one eye? Well if she didn't want anybody to know about it she would have to act as though she wasn't, and for Starclan's sake? Walking into trees?! She was doomed. She silver tabby sleepily padded into camp, her paws beginning to drag, she had already started towards the apprentices den when Lynxstar called out to them. With a soft groan she turned on her paws and flopped down. Her ice blue orbs were soft and round, and her eye lids were beginning to fall shut. With a soft sigh, she turned to look at Lynxstar. As what the leader was saying began to sink in her maw fell open and she let out a little gasp. "You mean join with Zephyrclan, so we can be safe?" She meowed softly, but it was not any sort of challenge to her leader, just a simple question. She wanted to be sure she heard it right.
----
Was she a bad mother? She wasn't, was she? Questions on whether she had done a good job of bringing up her kits rushed through her mind all evening, and she couldn't sleep, when she heard those arriving back from the gathering she jumped to her paws and rushed out to see if Veiledpaw was ok. Even if Reflectedpaw wasn't perfect, Veiledpaw was still a good she-cat wasn't she? She pressed her nose to the apprentice's ear until she wriggled away and looked up to see Lynxstar, speaking urgently. Sitting down she listened with an interest to what had happened. When Lynxstar had finished her eyes were wide with shock. "Is it true?" She gasped turning to Veiledpaw and back to Lynxstar. Standing she took a few steps forward looking up at Lynxstar. "As long as you keep us safe, I will happily back you up with this, I am sure Zephyrclan are very respectable cats if it came to us merging, unlike Tempestclan." She spoke out softly.

Glancing down, the rough-looking leader caught sight of Cloudstreak fumbling about, words muddles and fidgeting uneasily, but his eyes held a glaze of pain that made the tawny she-cat frown. Flciking her tail to signal for the pale silver tabby to hold still for a moment, Lynxstar pricked her ears to catch Veiledpaw's quiet words, and nodded. "This is what I'm hoping, Veiledpaw, but we can't be sure what Wreathedstar will agree to. He's an extremely new leader, and he may feel pressured, as I assume Vividstar felt when she agreed to merge, and may decline. Either way, I'm praying that we can stay close allies, to fend off both Delirium and Perilstar's antics," The she-cat let out a sigh, then let her weary gray gaze shift to the smoky warrior, and she dipped her head, giving one of those rare smiles at once. "Thank you Radianteclipse, you have no idea what my clan's support to my decisions means to me."
"Lynxstar! Will there be war?"
She turned to see a familiar deep brown tabby and topaz eyes flashign in the rising sun, Chasmriver's face set with a somber expression, but the leader could easily see past this mask to the excitement building in his bright, juvenille eyes. Perching her whiskers forward upon her broad muzzel, Lynxstar bobbed her head, yet not quite a nod. Unsure, for one, the leader didn't want to give her clanmates false hope for no bloodshed, when TempestClan were brutal, and CelestialClan proud, the leader was almost certain that lives would be lost. "I pray to StarClan that there won't be," His face fell a fraction of an whisker-width, but Lynxstar couldn't blame the young, strong tom for a wish to fight, with border scuffs so rare and with potential brimming. "But I won't say that there won't be, Chasmriver. For weeks before this time, I had been having feelings of dread, on and off, knowing the future held something deadly. This may be it. On the other paw, I will assure you that Delirium will bring blood, so sharpen your claws, but I will do my best to protect you." Her words, fo course, weren't directed at him any longer, but she faced her whole clan, heaving a quiet sigh. "Rest up and eat well, hunt to calm yourselves if you must. Lilythorn, please sort out the patrols for noon and evening. Mentors, I would appreciate the training of warfare to your apprentices for now, if only to protect ourselves, if it does come to blood." With this, the bulky she-cat stepped down from the pulpy log, and slipped over to Cloudstreak, concern masked her stone features. "As for you, you may come with me, if you promise to go see Stormwind right now. Have some thyme and honey or something, you look a bit worn Cloudstreak." She murmured, frowning.

Lavenderpaw gave up trying to hear what Darkfog and Sernewinter were murmmuring about. Probably nothing important anyways. She blinked her purple eyes open a few times, trying to clear the sleep from her brain. Her maw opened slightly as she yawned, and she hurried over to sit down by Vieldpaw when Lynxstar jumped onto the roc to speak. "What do you think of all this Vieldpaw? I think that Perilstar and Vividstar are purley crazy and mouse-brianed..." she spat out but hushed as other cats startedto speak up. Her body stiffened quite suddenly and she jerked her head up as Lynxstar announced they may join ZeypherClan. She had just met afew apprentices last night from that Clan, and they seemed nice enough. But which Clan would they stay at, or would both Clans move to make space for everyone? She shrugged, as if to answer her ow nquestion. She perked her ears as Lynxstar announced there would be more warfare training amoungst ap[prentices now.
Now Raidainteclipse would just have to train her! She nodded to Vieldpaw as she scampered off. "See you later!" she called over her shoulder. She reached Lynxstar just as she was speaking with Cloudstreak. She slid to a halt in front of her, dipping he head quickly with excitment. 'Will we really merge? Where will we stay, is Deliruim a big threat to us?" she breahted in and stopped, her tail flicking in embarressment. "Sorry, I just got excited, I didn't mean to blurt out like that Lynxstar." she muttered apologetically. "I, well I know I just went to the gathering, but might I, well might I join you, have the privlage I mean,to join you on your visit to Wreathedstar tomorrow?" she asked, holding her breath.

Buzzardspite listened in to the important conversation. His ears pricked forward when talk of war popped up. War? Then so be it, it would provide the time with something purposeful to do. The tabby tom sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws. And what was to become of CipherClan? Would StarClan be mad that they upset the balance? Now they were one instead of two, but who said it was a crime. No one. So for now all Buzzardspite could do is listen in and wait, lie in wait until the moment to strike arrived.

Head pounded, eyes averted the gaze of the leader. He wasn't sick..right? It was just a headache..right? His ears flattened to his head as she told him to go visit Stormwind. The medicine cat wouldn't keep him in the medicine cats den, right? But he was also happy to know that he would be visiting ZephyrClan's camp. That is, if he got better. "It's just a headache, but thank you for your concern," meowed Cloudstreak softly. This headache was taking control of him. "I'll go visit Stormwind now," sighed the tom. He turned away, sighing softly. Each step was another rattle in his head. He was dizzy, but he tried to walk normally. He was over tired, but he couldn't sleep! It wasn't his problem! The tom sighed, and shook his head which almost made him topple over. He hated being tired. Stupid sleep. A yawn escaped his throat and his steps were thrown into an awkward gait, and he found himself tripping over his own paws, as he silently make his way to Stormwind's den. One step, one pound, another step, another pound. It was really beginning to annoy the tom, but he needed to get better. It was an honor to escort Lynxstar to Wreathedstar's camp. Maybe he could just have a few poppyseeds...

Veiledpaw hung her head fora short moment, "I don't want things to change, and if we have to change because of those two mousebrains...." She hissed trailing off. She would do what she could to support her clan, and the support she could give would only make Lynxstar stronger. "Goodbye Lavenderpaw!" She called out after the apprentice as she was already vanishing. She began to look around her for Summerpath. Touching her nose to her mother first of all she murmured in her ear "I'll be safe." She knew how much her mother could worry. Leaving her mothers side she padded over near to where Lynxstar was. "Summerpath!" She called out. Sh was eager to train, she was eager to fight, and her blindness, what blindness? It would not get in the way.
Waiting for things to calm down a little, Radianteclipse stood up and padded over to Lavenderpaw and Lynxstar, slowly. "Well Lavenderpaw if you train hard with me then you wont have any problems." She meowed with a light chuckle. She looked round at Lynxstar. "If there is anything I can do just let me know." She whispeed to the leader, before looknig round at her apprentice. "Don't worry we wil train you up well" She purred with a smile. Poor Lavenderpaw out on her own, she had two kits about the same age, so it was starting to become that Lavenderpaw was just another of tem, of course she could neverhave the same love for the apprentices she did for her children, but she did care about the apprentice.

Rowanleaf sat on his ow. Absent mindedly listening to the conversations around him. He didn't care what happened with his clan as long as Lynxstar approved. She was the elader and she knew best, better than Vividstar anyway, as many cats though. Rowanleaf sighed though, there was nothing to do for now.

With a sharp nod to her leader, Lilythorn headed off to find cats for the two patrols. She approached Rowanleaf slowly. "Would you like to come on the Noon patrol? You could ask one more of your friends to come along, too, but it will just be me, you, and one other cat." The deputy's words were quick, but even. "Let me know if you do, and tell me who is coming along if you do." Barely giving the words a single moment of time to come out of her mouth, the carrot-orange she-cat took off towards Radianteclipse and Lavendarpaw. "Evening patrol, girls? Just us?" If they agreed to come, the patrols were all set, and Lilythorn would have a moment to stop and rest. Yes, that is what she would do. Rest for a short while would be satisfying for her.

She saw Lynxstar was busy, so she decided to ask later, maybe it would be a better time then. She saw her mentor start over, and she dipped her head to Raidianteclipse as she neared. "Morning!" she mewed cheerfully. She listened with excitment as the pretty cat spoke. There was something Lavenderpaw felt in her heart, something she had never fekt before. She had no family, her parents were both dead and she was an only kit without littermates. Was it warmth and love towards Raidanteclipse? She let happiness fill her purple eyes as she noticed a simliar, yet not as strong emotion comign from Raidnanteclipse. The truth was, she almost felt like a step-mother to Lavenderpaw, and the tiny cat liked it.
She was abotu to say something about it when Lilythorn walked by. She dipped her head. Her earsd pricked as Lilythorn asked about the noon patrol. Just us girls... Lavrnderpaw nodded quickly, but then grinned sheepishly at her mentor. If it's alright with you of course..." she mewed shyly. For the first time in her life, Lavenderpaw was begining to feel loved and accepted by her Clan. It was something that was new to the little outcast cat, who had always tried so hard to make friends. But she liked it.
ooc, Awwww she luffs Raidiant and Lilly..

The headache was ebbing. Cloudstreak just sighed happily. He didn't need to go see Stormwind, which made him feel a little bit happy. "Lynxstar," he called out, trotting toward her, "Mind if I take a small nap before we set off?" he asked. "I feel fine now," meowed the tom. He must have been excited. Yes, that what must have allowed him to feel better. He was going on an important journey with the leader of his Clan. The tom wondered what was going on. He wondered what would happen. If there really would be war. At that thought, the tom shuddered. "If only for a few minutes, I'd just like to be steady on my feet," meowed the tom quietly.

Her unconsiously puffed out chest slowly collapsed as a great gust of breath rushed from Lynxstar's flaring nostrils, though her gray-brown eyes were no longer wide, alerted. Cloudstreak would surely get himself taken care of, right? He wasn't one of those big-headed overly-proud toms who refused to seek help, right? Supervising silently, the looming tawny she-cat lurked like a shadow in the middle of her clan as that welcoming chaos broke out, and the regular clan bustle was set into motion. It warmed her heart, this ordinary mood that her beloved clanmates allowed to settle over the air, but she wasn't blind. She could see that spark in their eyes, a blaze of mistrust, wariness, and fury, and she knew her own gaze held these mixed emotions as well, but a cat could only hide their feelings so well, but with all this rush through the clearing, it was unlikely one of these cats would see it. Turning, she blinked slowly, as though she were an owl, and stared at the ivory and tabby apprentice who popped up eagerly at her side. "Hi there Lavend-" She cut off as questions spilled forth from the young she-cat, and let out a rumbling chuckle, smiling warmly. "Delirium is a threat, Lavenderpaw, but nothing that won't be sorted out, and as much as I'd love to take you along, I will have to turn you down. Sorry young one, but you need training, and I wasn't planning on taking a patrol anyway. In fact, I was planning on going alone, but I don't think one warrior will harm. I hope you don't mind dear." The leader smiled apoligetically at the apprentice then shrugged, as if helpless. But as the smoky gray warrior appeared, Lynxstar dipped her head. "Morning Radianteclipse." She purred, then moved off to leave apprentice and mentor to their business, with her own to attend. "Cloudstreak? Are you sure?" Lynxstar mewed, frowning, but she admitted to herself that he did look better than he had a few moments ago. "Well alright, we won't be leaving for a bit yet. Take a nap, have a meal, and I think I'll treat myself to the same." The big she-cat purred at the pale silver tabby.
Feeling a jolt of warm delight quickly spread through her milk-bloated frame like a ripple on a pond at her son's silly sounding yelp and her daughter's quiet complaint, Abyssbird's pretty face broke into an uncontainable beam, her teeth flashing bright in the dark den, dispite it all, the she-cat smiled, and a purr broke the short silence as she swept her warm tail around the small shivering Spellkit and nudged Gloomkit closer as well. "Oh I don't want to sound conceited Flamingarrow, but hey're so beautiful, I love them so much," She sighed happily, forgetting about her stupid mate, then Flamingarrow spoke. The ebony queen's teal-green eyes met the ginger's gaze before she quickly averted her stare. "I heard Darkfog and Serenewinter talking in there. Somehow he got himself all mangled up, I could take a guess how, and Serenewinter is there weeping and kissing his toes, who knows why? I do know, though, that he doesn't want these beautiful babies. He only wants Serenewinter's children, and I wouldn't be surprised if that selfish fool would leave me and these children to die if it meant a chance with Serenewinter. Either way, I'm out of both of their lives. Serenewinter hates my guts, too, if that wasn't obvious." She sighed and looked back to Spellkit and Gloomkit, twitching her tail to touch each of their noses. "It's just us I guess Flamingarrow. What did you name them?" Abyssbird asked after a long pause.
