Already she felt a large empty space next to her, where Perilstar had been not so long ago. She longed for him now, she felt so safe when he was around, now she felt a little empty. The gathering. It will all be ok after that, she wont be feeling like this again after the gathering. She burst her kissers with a fang and swiped her tonue around them several times to get rid of the blood. "We leave soon, you will recieve your medidince cat name." She purred softly. "Do we need to take any herbs first?" She asked quickly. "Are you ready?" She asked kindly. This was all new to hear aswell so somehow they would have to manage together, but she had hope. She drew her tongue over the apprentices head twice, had she forgotten what lay ahead of her?

Aquapaws tail waved exitedly, she was going to get her medicine cat name! Great! She was so exited, finally she would be a proper medicine cat! And then she would be allowed out of camp to get the herbs for Citrusflower and any other cat that needed them? She hoped she would be. A warrior would get bored if they had to take her out and just watch her collecting herbs. They would want to hunt or go back to camp.
"Great!" She said, "You need herbs probably, I'll get them."
She darted into her den and to the back where the remaining herbs were arranged. Luckily they still had traveling herbs.They were rarely used though. Of course they would have them! She looked at Citrusflower before wrapping a pile of traveling herbs up and reappearing out of the den infront of Vividstar. She put the bundle of herbs down, hopefully everything needed for going out under the lake.
"Here they are," She said puching the herbs forward.

Vividstar watched Aquapaw carefully, she would make such a good medicine cat for the clan, she would be so well respected and she would serve Starclan well. She sniffed hesitantly at the herbs first of all and did not look very convinced, but she trusted Aquapaw and ate them gingerly. They didn't taste like a nice juicy mouse or anything like that, but they would just have to do. After swallowing them down she looked over at Aquapaw. "I was so nervous before getting my leader name, getting a warrior name is one thing, but meeting Starclan and being given a name means so much more." She meowed. She looked down at the apprentice proudly. "Deergrace would have been so proud of you right now, maybe you will see her, I know you will make her proud." She told the apprentice. Standing up straight she smiled before turning to leave. "Ready?" She asked before heading out of camp.

Vividstar padded into camp, with the newly named Aquasplash not far behind. It was interesting being there in the background to watch Aquapaw's ceremony, it was awkward though, Starclan had been watching. They knew. Her trail of thoughts were stopped by the stench of a sich cat. She gasped lightly. Citrusflower. She turned to Aquasplash. "Looks like our new medicine cat in needed, or would you like an annoucement first?" The leader asked.

Citrusflower had eaten the fresh kill left for her ages ago, now she just felt miserable. She had been falling in and out of sleep for what felt like moons now to her. She felt even worse than she had before, but that was not to be avoided with no treatment, but it wasn't Aquapaw's fault she no longer had the herbs to treat her and Vividstar was only looking after her clan like a leader should. She sniffled slightly, Winterpaw had been here to visit her and had fallen asleep next to her worrying about her mentor. Poor thing. She had tried to move away from her daughter as much as possible, because even though she loved her very very much, she couldn't bear it if her daughter got sick too. Then she heard voices, Vividstars, they must be back. Thank Starclan.

Aquasplash walked into camp behind Vividstar, glad that she was now the medicine cat. Though she was still apprentice aged she hoped to help the clan. Maybe one day she would get an apprentice. She had been thinking about that all the way home. What would she teach them? Would she be a good mentor? Maybe she wouldn't even get an apprentice at all. She doubted she would around this time anyway.
"Looks like our new medicine cat in needed, or would you like an annoucement first?"
She shook her head. Citrusflower needed treating, and the announcement could wait. She would go see Citrusflower now, then go out to get herbs quickly. She wondered if there would be any Catmint in the territory. Deergrace had not shown her any but there might. Or she would have to trek to the twolegplace to look in gardens. Not something she really wanted to do.
"Can I please go and try to find some Catmint Vividstar?"

Vividstar's mouth turned down slightly at the corners, but this was an emergency and Starclan would protect her, after all a medicine cat had more rights that a warrior. "Go, don't be long and promise me you will look after yourself." She meowed softly. "Is there anything I can do for Citrusflower while you are away?" She asked. She was worried Citrusflower wouldn't make it, the poor ill she-cat. She would have to be ok. She could not bear to lose one of her valued cats, especially since her clan was weaker than the rest right now. All that would change through when they merged with Tempestclan. What would they call their clan? Would the cats settle with each other ok? At least looking on the brightside Aquasplash would become more confident working alongside Silentstream. It would all work out in the end, it had too.

Aquasplash smiled as Vividstar said she could go out. She had to help Citrusflower and get her better. The clan could get ill easily from just one cat. and it wasn't like they had the most cats in the world, probably the least out of the four clans. so it was nessisary for her to treat Citrusflower. At least that was all she had to worry about now.
"Thanks!" Aquasplash said to Vividstar, and promptly rushed out of camp. She wondered where she would find catmint.- - - - EDIT - - - - Aquasplash padded back into camp after her search of Catmint proved false. They had smelt it! Her and Brittlenimbus- where was he? She was sure he came this way but, oh way. She was saddened that she had not found any catmint. Was she to go all the way to twolegplace just to get it?
Another thing, back to Brittlenimbus. Why did he run away from her? Did he not like her?

Vividstar sighed nervously before jumping onto a rock to address her clan. "I would like to announce that all cats are to go to the gathering tonight, that means everyone. Aquasplash I would like you to watch over Citrusflower while we are there." She called and then sucked in a sharp breath. "We wont be returning." She mumbled very softly hanging her head for a moment then leaping down again. Looking around her as cats began to gather she noticed Breakingdawn was no longer around. Where on earth was she? She gulped, it was a bit late now for her to be missing. They would look on their way to the gathering and she would send two healthy cats back here to look for the warrior afterwards, for they were about to leave for the gathering. Once everyone was ready she called them all closer. "OK let us go, Grebewing take up the rear end making sure nobody falls behind, and everyone keep an eye open for Breakingdawn, she must have gotten lost in the territory or something." She meowed and turned and started to lead her whole clan to the gathering.

What in the name of Starclan was going on? Was Vividstar mad? Taking the whole clan to the damned gathering. The sleek white she-cat quickly found herself herding apprentices that lagged towards the center of the group. She wasn't one in charge but at least she could help out. She wasn't sure what to make of Vividstar's words. Well this would be an interesting gathering and that was for sure. Who knew what would happen and what would be expected to come? Had the young and reckless leader done something she shouldn't of? Possibly. That was the only reason the whole clan could be going...and not returning. Pearlmoon kept her trap shut. She wasn't one to cause drama anyways.
