Amberwind purred with relief. Finally, someone she could talk to. "I should go back now." The she-cat sighed glanced back towards Tempestclan camp. The mottled warrior didn't want to leave but she didn't see what choice she had. Sooner or later, some cat was bound to notice her absense and she couldn't betray Jester by leading her agressive clanmates right to him. The she-cat turned, her eyes filling with loneliness and her heart began to ache. Why was she so unhappy with Tempestclan? They had treated her well so why did she detest going back so much?

Jester bounded back toward the she-cat, giving her a friendly flick on the nose as he passed her. He knew she was sad; he could tell by the way her head fell and her tail drooped. He didn't want to see her go anymore than she wanted to leave. But she had to, or her clan would begin to wonder. Curiosity, mixed with worry, wasn't the best combination lately. No, it was better for her to leave now before cats began searching.
Giving the mottled warrior a small smile, the black cat dipped his head slightly. "I'll see you tomorrow Amberwind." He meowed, ever so softly. Then, without another word, the loner padded off into the undergrowth and vanished out of sight.
