Rowanleaf watched the camp. Had there been a fight? Or at least nearly? He wondered who had been in it. Though from where he was it seemed Buzzardspite had been in it. Maybe he was outside the leaders den to explain? Rowaneaf didn't know why so many cats got in fights, couldn't they all just gen along together? It would make life a whole lot easier.
"Hello Lavenderpaw," Rowanleaf replied to Lavenderpaw. He really didn't know the apprentice a whole lot. He wondered what she was like, maybe she would be his friend? That would be nice. He was only just a warrior so she should be about as old as him, maybe a little younger.

Littlepaw__&& I'll always help you make it through, but I am little, so it will be a miracle if I do Littlepaw's eyes shone with happiness. He had done it! His eyes wandered to the three, beautiful kits. He loved kits. "Darkfog, will you help me clean them? Let Abyssbird rest." He whispered to the obviously pround father. He began to lick one of the three kits with swift, soft movements. He stopped for a moment and turned to Abyssbird. He placed one paw on her belly and nudged it softly. "nope, no more kits in there." he thought to himself. He smiled at the queen. "Abyssbird, I know you want to rest, but please take these herbs. They'll help you with your milk." he placed them closer to her so she wouldn't have to reach as far. Then he turned back to the kits and licked one kit again. It was clean so he nudged it over to his mothers belly so he could suckle and get some milk in his small body. He continued onto the next kit and looked up at Darkfog. "Good job. I don't think she would've made it without you here." Littlepaw said very seriously to the tom, bowing his head.

l y n x s t a r - - - [ <3 ] She cranked her neck a fraction of a whisker-length to peer at the silver tom, a faint smile lighting her face. "Ha ha," She muttered dryly, despite her lightened features. "Yes, sir. I may as well be drowning in it. There's no in between with VertigoClan. It's either painfully boring or joltingly drama-filled." The massive tawny she-cat snorted, and trotted to the small fresh-kill pile, wondering where Lilythorn had gone. It was high time for another hunting patrol to head out. Shaking her head, she stooped to pick out a tubby-looking shrew carcass, and returned to where Cloudstreak stood. Perhaps he'd be interested in sharing tougues with her for a moment or two of rare peace. "Here," She mewed, pushing the dead mammal towards him with a paw upon noticing Buzzardspite dawdling near the entrance to her den, most likely wondering if her nose and ears were defective by the expression on his face. "Um, Buzzardspite, over here," She called, standing once more and padding in his direction. "Need something son?" Lynxstar purred, her 'rumpy' tail moving slightly, as if it would be swaying if it had a foot or so more of length to it.
a b y s s b i r d - - - [ <3 ] There, before Abyssbird stood two lean but nimble felines. They sported long, graceful limbs and pelts of void-like swarth, similar to hers, though the tom, with piercing sky blue eyes matching her own, held a light dusting of silver around his rump. The pure black one, obviously female by the beautiful, dignified way she held her slender obsidian frame, flashed sterling silver lights warmly. They shared a similar solumn expression, but the she-cat's broke first, soon followed by the other cat's. They both raced to her, mouths moving but no words emerging, only strange sucking sounds. Confused, she backed up a step, though too late realizing she had been standing upon a cliff. trying to scream, Abyssbird found no words in her through, no sound at all, actually. Squeezing shut her eyes and tensing her tumbling body in anticipation of impact, she found that she'd fallen into a patch of moss.. no, fur. "Please take these herbs." The two cats above, peering over the cliff meowed softly in unison, sharing a small, tom-like voice.
Jolting awake, two orbs of clouded blue emerged from the black mask that was her troubled face, confusedly looking around, before emitting a soft, quiet groan. It all came back suddenly, and glancing down at the two noisily suckling babies at her still-swollen belly, she suddenly realized the two beautiful cats in her odd dream had been these two wonderful kits. Was that some sort of strange sign that they would grow up strong and healthy? Doubtedly. Looking slowly around her, she realized Dustedrose had left, and then it struck her. She had landed in a patch of fur when she fell, as Darkfog still lay curled around her weak body. Taking in the sights and scents around her, including the warm, pulsating scent of milk emerging from her own body, Abyssbird sighed happily, and bent her head to nibble at the foul-smelling borage- even worse tasting. Cringing against it's powerful tang, she shook her head and turned to lick the kits gently, ignoring their complaining squeals. The young mother found no words, as in her dream, but swiveled her head to the father of her kits, and drew her tougue over his face, then rested her delicate head on his shoulder, eyes falling shut, quite peacefully, once more. Soon everyone in the clan would be bustling in and out to admire her beautiful babies, she could use some rest for now.

Yes, sir. I may as well be drowning in it. There's no in between with VertigoClan. It's either painfully boring or joltingly drama-filled. With these words, the tom, too, snorted, chuckling half-heatedly. When he was given the shrew carcass, he just sat there. "Either you'd like me to become fat, or would you like to share...?" his questioned drifted off into the wind, as she addressed Buzzardspite. What did he want? Cloudstreak held back an ignorant snort, with great difficulty, and instead just sat there like a rock, his tail curled stiffly over his paws. He wasn't feeling too well, his head felt a little off, somehow not right, but that was the least of his worries, so he pushed the thought way into the back of his mind. He felt he was needed to become better friends with Lynxstar, and his head hurting was the least important of the little things he was needed to do. He blinked, and waited, still patient, for Lynxstar to finish her hopefully small conversation with Buzzardspite. She did want to share the shrew with him, right?

Buzzardspite turned to face his leader. Eyes looked at Lynxstar happily, as if the whole incident with Lavenderpaw was merely a dream. The tom pricked his ears as he spoke, "I would like to talk to you. . ." He paused and glanced at Cloudstreak, "When you're not busy." Now it was just time to wait, time to sit and take in the surroundings. He could smell the slight scent of milk wafting from the nearby nursery, The grass, as always was quite soft, but he padded a little and found a more comfortable spot to sit on, dull yellow eyes caught sight of the dwindling food pile, then his eyes spotted Cloudstreak once more. There was something about that cat Buzzardspite did not like. Not to upset the other tome, he looked away before anyone would catch his glance.

Radianteclipse watched over the dainty white she-cat as she slept, she noticed how strong her friend had grown, but she also noticed how lean she looked which made her rather sad, however if she was hungry she would have taken something to eat would she not? Maybe it would be fun for Serenewinter to come and help her train Lavenderpaw, after all the young she-cat had never had an apprentice...the closet thing had been Abysspaw. Poor Serenewinter. Only time would tell how she would turn out now, it was rather funny how she felt like a mother to Serenewinter now and the she-cats were the same age, plus she had her kits now. She would also need to tell Serenewinter about Emeraldfire, they could stick together and they would be ok, they had always stuck together. She looked down upon the furry white warrior as she rolled onto her back and opened her eyes. "Have a nice sleep? I was thinking we could go and train Lavenderpaw my apprentice together." She purred and stood up.
Serenewinter felt herself drifting back to reality, the sleep she had welcomed fading, and the green eyed she cat that had been watching over her came back into view. She opened her maw wide in a yawn and she nodded to Radianteclipse's suggestion. Anything to get her out of camp would be good. Standing up she prepared herself to follow Radianteclipse. She carefully cut off her emotions, one by one, enabling her to act as if nothing was wrong, of course there was. She stepped out of the den and into the main clearing again, she danced across camp not thinking before she did anything, her teal eyes wore an expression that warned others that she would not take any mouse dung from them.
Radianteclipse nodded happily and made her way out into the clearing along side Serenewinter and approached Lavenderpaw, she dipped her head to Rowanleaf as she did. "Nice to see you both." She meowed. "Lavenderpaw once you finish up here then come and find Serenewinter and I, you will be doing some training today." She meowed softly and turned and left them to their meal. She sat down beside Serenewinter, but the snow white warrior stood tense by her side. She blinked sadly, would Serenewinter ever be the same again? Would she just have to get used to her mood swings?

♫♫ô LAVENDERPAW The young cats eyes fixed on her prey, her mood slowly returning. She wondered where Buzzardspite had gone too when Rowanleaf spoke to her."Well hello to you too, come and eat." she told the older cat. Her lavender eyes sparkled slowly, as Rowanleaf settled beside her. She was just finishing up her breakfast when a voice sounded above her. Her eyes widened. Raideitneclipse!! Had her mentor seen the srap she'd gotten into with the warriors jst moments before. She looked at this Serenewinter, eyes questioning.
"Ummm, yeah well I was done anyways...I uh well good morning." she stuttered nerveusly, dipping her head to the she-cats. Serenewinter had left when she was just a kit, so Lavenderpaw had no clue who she was. Still, best to be respectful. "Bye Rowanleaf...I guesss I better go train now then..." she avoided eye contact with Radianteclipse. Her mentor was sure to know soething was up. Lavenderpaw was normally more bossy and short-tempered.
"I'll beat you to the traiing area!" she called over her shoulder, racing ahead as fast as her long legs would carry her. Lavenderpaw raced through camp entrance onto where she was headed for a day of work.

l y n x s t a r - - - [ <3 ] Buzzardspite's voice was almost trance-like, or intimidated, the leader suddenly realized, and followed his gaze over her shoulder, and spotted Cloudstreak glaring their way. Snorting, the massive tawny, obsidian-flecked she-cat turned back to the young warrior and shook her head. "Just tell me what's on your mind, please. There's plenty of time to the day, and plenty of Lynxstar to go around." She meowed, her voice loud and ringing like a softer version of her announcement voice, so that the pale silver tabby behind her could her as well, and also hear the soft, humorous spark to it. Certainly Buzzardspite could sense it, seeing as it danced in her gray-beige eyes. "Dont act so intimidated, you're a strong boy. Just talk, I've got a few minutes." Lynxstar murmured in a quieter voice, gazing reassuringly into the tabby tom's gray eyes with a faint, nearly invisible smile playing across her broad face.

Buzardspite sighed slightly. At least he would get a chance to talk to his leader, but it might take a while. Tail hung loosely, but swished every so often under the intensive gaze of both his leader and the other warrior. The warrior took a deep breath before beginning. "First I want to start with saying sorry. I shouldn't have lost myself like that, and I will do my best to prevent it from happening again." He glanced down at the ground with grey eyes before continuing. At least that was out of the way he could feel a little less guilty. "I was thinking about the kits, and how they really need to have a good mentor. For some reason . . . I sort of hoped you would mentor one of them. It would help fulfill their dreams that every kit has, the one of becoming the greatest warrior." It was merely a simple thought, but he wnted it taken into consideration. Besides, Lynxstar hadn't taken on an apprentice in a while. "You have quite a few moons to think about it." He reminded her calmly. (Short, no muse)

Rowanleaf sighed as Lavenderpaw left him. Who would he talk to now? It wasn't like he had many friends, just people he talked to evry so often. He wondered what to do, go out hunting? It wasn't like there was much else to do around here. What fun it was to be bored all day, couldn't just some action happen? A little fight maybe? It would all be so worthwhile to watch. He wouldn't want to join in though, he was no good at fighting.
He shuffled his paws and looked towards the exit of the camp. He might as well go out, he had nothing better to do. He stood up and stretched slightly, oh well. He waved his tail and padded out of camp.

l y n x s t a r - - - [ <3 ] Gray eyes sparked curiously, her gaze boring into Buzzardspite's, with the faintest touch of suspicion. What an odd request for a warrior to make of her. In fact, she wasnt quite sure how to react to his steady, soulful words. Was one to decline such a simple favor? "That's a strange thing to ask of me Buzzardspite. I'm afraid I cant promise you, or the kits, this. You see, when someone who have never mentored an apprentice gets one, they grow as a cat. They learn something new in life, you know? And I'm awful busy. But I suppose, with three queens in the nursery at this point, there will be plenty of kits. I'm not turning you down, I guess I'll just have to see what life brings for me in the next six moons." The mucular leader purred softly. A smile freely played over her usually sullen features as she leaned forward and drew her tougue over the young warrior's ear in a motherly fashion. Dipping her ehad, she turned to trot back over to the impacient Cloudstreak. "And to your earlier comment, sir, as much as I would love for you to get fat, so I could abuse my powers and rename you Lardtummy, supplying myself with a bit of comic relief, I was intending to share that with you," She winked, motioning towards the carcass with a paw. "If you want. Because if not, I, myself, qould be quite content with getting fat." A humorous grin lit her face.

If you want. Because if not, I, myself, could be quite content with getting fat. He too, grinned at that. "Ah," Cloudstreak began, his face lit up with sarcasm, "But I would suit the name Lardtummy well, you are not one to get fat. We don't want the warriors to think any differently," he meowed slyly, smirking humorously. He pushed the shrew carcass toward her. "You first, my lady," he meowed with a voice so serious, it was hard to tell if he was truly serious, or completely joking. He of course was joking. Looking down at the ground, he shuffled his paws, pricking his ears, fixing his intelligent hues on Lynxstar, waiting to see if she willingly obliged.

A young tom padded into the clearing with a vole in his mouth. He had just returned from a solo hunting trip and he was anxious to go out again and hunt... maybe even on a patrol. He dropped the vole onto the slowly growing pile of fresh-kill and looked around for Lynxstar or Lilythorn. He had tried to get the deputy position, but he was unsuccessful. The young tom's name is Horsetear and he had been several pawsteps away from being deputy when Lilythorn decided she didn't want to step down after all. Horsetear had shrugged it off knowing his time would come eventually.
He turned and went looking for his leader and deputy. Horsetear and Lilythorn were still not really on the best of terms since the row about the deputy position. Horsetear had done his best, but he knew Lilythorn was just too good. The sun shown brightly on Horsetear's pelt, making him hot and sleepy. He couldn't wait until night so he could enter his nest and get a good night's sleep, but who knew... maybe he would be sitting vigil that night and missing out on the warmth of his nest and his fellow warriors. Horsetear didn't care though, he just wanted to make sure he was a good loyal member of the Clan and did his best to keep it alive and prosperous.

f l a m i n g a r r o w
The young and hormonal queen's eye lids fluttered open slowly. She blinked several times before she recognized the middle of camp. Her slow blinks became more frantic as she realized that she had dozed off in front of everyone. She let out a snort as she realized the cat nearest to her was the ever pathetic Horsetear. The one who had fought Lilythorn for deputy. He was a normal tom. Too normal for her dramatic taste. Flamingarrow let out a sigh as she realized it would be best to say hello, but she was too far away. She stood up and stretched, letting out a yawn. She took a step towards Horsetear, but she became tangled and twisted up with her own contorted body. She fell to the ground, but she did not land lightly like she should have. She let out a gasp as the pain flooded over her, and then she let out the first screech of pure agony. The kits. She had fallen down, and she had caused the kits to come. She was giving birth in the middle of camp. Tears streamed down her twisted face that had pain etched upon it. She sobbed loudly, and she tried to call out to cats to help her, but she felt alone. Everything was dark to her for the moment. The pain of her heartbreak came back in the same moment that the kits caused her pain. She had no mate to watch over her while she was struggling, and there was no one to comfort her afterwards either. "THE KITS ARE COMING!" she cried out in a loud yowl. Her voice broke during the yowl, but then her screeches were the only thing that the cats in camp could hear.

Horsetear whirled around and race to Flamingarrow's side, "Someone get Humblecharm! QUICKLY!" He quickly started reassuring Flamingarrow, "Its alright Flamingarrow. Humblecharm's on the way." The tom knew the Queen loved drama, but right now she needed all the help she could get. He gently licked the Queen's ears and waited for the help that he knew would soon arrive. The young tom didn't know how to calm a she-cat, but licking another cat's ears was a sign that they cared and would help them no matter what and that was what Horsetear was doing. He would help Flamingarrow through her kitting and maybe even train one of her kits when they were of apprentice age. Horsetear shook his head free of the memory. He knew Lynxstar and Lilythorn chose and not him. He continued to reassure the distressed Queen while he himself was anxious for the help to arrive.
