Fallingkit smiled and nodded. "Nice to..er.." she paused, trying to find words, but instead shrunk back further into her mothers soft pelt smiling timidly. She spotted Dovekit out of the corner of her eyes and she let out a squeak. "Dovekit! Come meet this new cat," she mewled, her round eyes seeming to get even larger. She didn't really know many of the kits. "It's not hard..no, not hard..scary! I..pr..promise!" she mewled, seeming to forget how to say a few words.

Seeing that her mother was now asleep, Dovekit eyes the stranger anxiously and stepped out of the nursery, she kept her body close to the floor. Almost like a hunting crouch, but out of fear instead of... hunting. She kept her distance from the unknown cat and her pale green eyes flashed with slight fear. She said nothing.
Leaf looked at the little kit, Dovekit was obviously nervous around her. Did she think she would attack her? She wouldn't attack a little kit! Or any cat from this clan, then she remembered, she didn't know what the clan was called! Dewstream never told her, she turned to him.
"What is the clan called?" She asked, curiously.

Before Dewstream could complete her question, Fallingkit squeaked, "It's called ZephyrClan! Where were you from?" she asked, kneading her two white paws on the ground underneath her. Dewstream merely chuckled weakly. Fallingkit seemed much more outgoing than she ever had before. Fallingkit looked at Dovekit and smiled. "My mommy and daddy are here, they would let her hurt us, and she's nice, come on!" squeaked Fallingkit wriggling out of her mothers fur to sit by where Dovekit..was she crouching? Where Dovekit crouched near Leaf. "You can come sit by my mommy," meowed Fallingkit to Dovekit before fixing her green gaze to Leaf once more.

Leaf thought, where was she from? She could remember her mother, and her brothers, but where was she from? The only places she could actually remember was the hill, where she used to live just before now, and might still if this didn't go well. She could also remember this place with long grass, twisted into a den, was that it?
She closed her eyes and concentrated, "Umm... it was a place with... long grass, and there was this den with all moss inside and this fluffy white stuff. It came from big, fluffy animals that went baa." She smiled, "I think,"
Dovekit nodded slightly and padded quickly over to Silverleaf, partially behind her. She looked at the loner, thats what she was right? Why was she here? Fallingkit said she was a new cat, did new cats actually come? Dovekit thought there were no other cats in the clan exept for clanborn ones. This was quite interesting.

That sounds really nice! Fallingkit squeaked. She wondered what it was like bing near other animals. Dewstream looked around for Wreathedstar but he was nowhere in sight. "We should tell Wreathedstar you're here but...I don't see him anywhere" Dewstream meowed, looking around. He smiled at Fallingkit's enthusiasm. Maybe she'd be friends with Leaf. Fallingkit blurted out another question, Have you ever had a warrior name? she askedm tilting her head to the side.

Big animals that went baa? Dovekit stared at the loner, that sounded scary?What if they attacked you! If they were bigger than leaf they were probably bigger than Dewstream and all the warriors. Did the Baas ever attack a cat? Dovekit shuddered at the thought.
Leaf looked at Fallingkit confused, "What's a warrior name?" She asked, then she looked at Dewstream. Who was he looking for? Wreathedstar, maybe he was the leader! The -star bit on his name sounded important, was he all like... golden or silver or whatever colour the stars were? That would be cool!

A warrior name is something you get when you're like my daddy! After you're an apprentice, you get a warrior name! she meowed. Well, yowled, actually. She was excited that she was being asked questions. Dewstream chuckled, and added onto his daughters words. "When you're a kit, we add 'kit' to the end of their name. Fallingkit. When you're an apprentice we add 'paw' to replace kit. And when you're finally a warrior, you receive something such as 'stream'. When you're a leader, you take off that and replace it with 'star,' " Dewstream explained.

"Ah! So Wreathedstar is the leader! Where is he?" Leaf exclaimed. She also wondered about the ranks, she would be an apprentice so... She would be Leaf...paw? Leafpaw. Was that right? She hoped so. Leafpaw was okay, she supposed. She rather like being called just 'Leaf'. But if she had to be to be in the clan, Leafpaw was okay.

"Well, I would tell you where Wreathedstar is, but I don't seem to be able to see him among the cats," Dewstream admitted, furrowing his brow. He sighed and looked at Fallingkit. The she-kit had a thoughtful expression on her face and sat very still, and he wondered what his daughter was thinking.
Fallingkit was imagining what it would have been to be a cat like leaf. She wondered if those things that went baa were scary and if they ate cats. She would hate to be out without her clan. She loved her clan. |

"Well, is there anyone else in charge?" Leaf asked, she wanted to be in the clan as soon as she could. She looked at Fallingkit and wondered what she could be thinking about. She was a kit, she could be thinking of anything! And Dovekit was, being scared, as usuall. Leaf was learning tyo notice no less from the small white she-cat. |

"Oh and you get to decide if she can become a cat of ZeypherClan Dewstream?" Taintedleaf hissed back at Dewstream as he lashed out. "And you should really show more respect to your Medicine cat yourself Dewstream." he spouted off, his eyes growing darker as he sat. He sat his body down a while in, listneing absentmindedly to the conversation. It dawned on him as Shiverleaf spoke. He had been rude...without even realizing it. His green orbs softned as he looked at little Fallingkit and Leaf playing together and Dovekit sitting there, laughing and talking about the Clan's traditions."Umm Leaf...is it?" he spoke softly. "I think I need to apologize. Dewstream was right. I shouldn't have judged you, even though your a loner...I normally don't, but well I have a lot on my mind..." he murmmered, smiling sadly at the small cat. "Forgive me?" He looked at Shiverleaf and smiled, nodding his head. 'Yes your right Shiverleaf. I suppose we should find Wreathedstar and ask him abotu all this. Your right though, she looks willign to learn and such, so I think she should stay. He looked at Dewstream, "You'll accompany me to see our leader with Leaf won't yo uDewstream? he asked the older warrior, his apology in his eyes. |

Thyme, it's not my business I suppose, but I would like to warn you. Don't take too many kitties, take as many as you can handle. Killing off cats and putting them off for adoption is a hard decision.
