The ZephyrClan camp is a somewhat sheltered hollow in a desolate region of the moor. Patches of mossy boulders and skeletal trees adorn the camp, along with the occasional puddle kits have to take care not to tumble into. Queens and their kits take refuge where the wind is buffeted the most, or in crevices between boulders. [/blockquote]

d r i f t i n g i c e - - - [ <3 ] Cerulean lights glowed like gems, sparking with worry and self-insecurity as her dainty bleached paws carried her through ZephyrClan's open camp. Her delicate head swung warily from side to side, eyes wide, and her tail-tip twitched cautiously. StarClan forbid someone try and approach her, she slunk low along the ground, attempting to make herself smaller to avoid the stray eyes of her more.. social, clanmates. Likely chance of that. Huh! She knew she was beautiful. She had been told it countless awkward times before by both genders, all attempting to befriend, but she only wished they would leave. Tall pink ears switched back, then forth again, detecting all sounds around her, even picking up stray bit of conversation with her head hung a bit low, beneath her shifting shoulder blades, jutting out of her back. An ocean of flowing, liquid frost drifted and swayed, dancing as she bolted the last few steps to the meager fresh-kill pile, and picked up a young hare. The carcass with mangled and messy, probably caught by a learning apprentice, but Driftingice knew no one else would want it, or take it just out of the greater good. Cats didnt just do that. She sighed and retreated next to the spindly tree beside the pond, settling down near the water with a sense of fake content.

Crypt bane;; I've been looking in the mirror for so long. That I've come to believe my soul's on the other side. All the little pieces falling, shatter. Shards of me, Too sharp to put back together. Too small to matter, But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces. White paws walked slowly across the open hills. His paws so transparent looking that it almost faded into the snow. Giving him a more ghost-like appearance than any other living cat. His ears pirked at the sound of cooing birds and slumped his sholders. His red hues swished inside his optics like blood captured in them.A cold chill blew across his pelt send a cold chill throughout the toms body. His lips bent back into a snarl reveling sharp dagger-like teeth. Calming himself down he swiped his pink tounge over his chest, shaking his pelt of falling snow that was faintly visble on the toms fur.
Moving like fog over the the lands, his whiskers twiched in slight annoyance. His tail lightly brushed the ground leaving a faint trail as he trotted on. New-leaf was approching fast, and so there was little snow left. Small patches where still visible and the snow flakes wernt so plentlyful. More than ever puddles layed over the earth as green sprouts were everywhere. The air was still crisp though, cold and unforgiving in the early morings. And even worst when the sun faded into night.
[/blockquote] Take a breath and I try to draw from my spirits well. Yet again you refuse to drink like a stubborn child. Lie to me, Convince me that I've been sick forever. And all of this, Will make sense when I get better. But I know the difference, Between myself and my reflection. Cryptbane shook he head in thought as he made his way swiftly back to camp. His small lithe body kept him at a smooth pace as his muscles rippled under his pelt. Making his way into camp he took a chance to glance around. His bloody hues rested on Driftingice for only a split second before he glanced away. Snorting one. Walking over to the fresh kill pile he took a rabbit. Making himself a note to go out hunting tonight. Which was more of his favorite time to hunt.
Taking it to another edge of the camp he settled down. He made no contact with anyone, seeing as one everyone was scared to talk to him. two he just didnt want to. He was not a tom for socialising or sharing tounges, it just wasnt him. His paws pushed the prey closer to him and he bite down. Taking a mouthful of prey. He licked his chops and took another bite. It felt good to have the taste in his mouth even though it was a bit raw.

Brokentail entered the camp quietly. His clanmates were scattered around the clearing, doing their daily activities. Brokentail turned towards the medicine cat's den, and walked towards it. Once he was outside he brought his head forward, sniffing.
"Screechgale? Are you here? It's my tail again!"

She had grown in size, that was a definite noticeable thing when you looked at her. Probably the first thing you noticed about her. Shiverleaf was indeed carrying around kits in her, the number unknown to her still until the day they were to be born. She didn't exactly know when they were to come though she knew that she was swelling up. However she still had a ways to go probably. She wasn't sure though. It was hard to tell although she could fell the movements of the kits now and then. Grunting softly as one seemed to push down, a look of pain came across her face. "Oh darn you little things." She murmured softly sighing and taking a deep breath. Making her way out of the Nursery, her eyes squinted as the harsh light hit them. She wasn't sure what to do now for the light was harsh and something she didn't want to deal with. Oh where was Dewstream? Her thoughts couldn't stay on one subject for long.

Four white paws entered through the camps entrance. Obviously those were the paws of Dewstream. The tom was carrying a fish, making his nostrils flare with delight. He saw his mate, Shiverleaf, and increased his pace across the camp so he could catch up with her. "Hello, Shiverleaf!" the tom purred, smiling in greeting with the one he couldn't quite keep his mind off. "Are feeling alright? Belly hurt? Do you need to go see Screechgale?" he asked anxiously. Ever since he found his mate to be pregnant, he had been overly-worried about her condition, always asking if something was wrong, his eyes never not showing some sign of worry. His white paws kneaded the ground lightly, and his gray eyes were sparkling with nervousness. He was going to be a father. A father. Dewstream, a father? How fun.

Feeling another approach her and hearing her name, Shiverleaf at once recognized the voice. Apparently the kits did too for they stirred. Grunting softly she looked at her mate and smiled softly. Laughing at his questions she couldn't help but look up at the sky. "I'm perfectly fine love." She purred softly brushing against him as she spoke. Shiverleaf knew enough to take care of herself. Or at least she thought she did. She was fine for as much as she knew. Sighing softly, the she-cat looked at Dewstream. "You know, you worry to much." She smiled as she spoke. Laughing gingerly as she did so.

"I worry too much, and I'm not even the once having the kits," Dewstream chuckled, groaning dramatically. "If I was a she-cat I don't think I'd have made it this far," he purred. He gestured the the fish that he had placed next to his paws. "For you, love," he meowed happily, his smile gentle, his paws continuing to knead the ground. He touched noses to Shiverleaf and mumbled, "How long, do you know?" he asked. He then shook his head. "I do have to stop worrying. All that is going through my head right now is kits, kits, and more kits. And you, of course, but I do need to keep focused on my duties as a warrior," he chuckled softly.

His words were making her laugh. Her eyes were almost tearing up with the fact that her mate was worrying about the kits more than she was. "Oh it's not that bad. A little extra weight, it just feels like I stuffed myself with food. Slightly uncomfortable but not bad." She purred. As he pushed the fish towards her she smiled softly and mewed a thank you as she took a bite out of it. "You eat as well. I will never finish this." Her voice was soft as she eyed his body as he spoke. "You are worrying too much. You look exhausted.." Her voice trailed off as she brushed her tail across his cheek. She was worried about him. Even with kits in her belly she was getting more sleep than he was.

Dewstream purred, and touched his nose lightly to her cheek. "I don't need any, it's alright, you need to eat for the sake of the...kits," he laughed, failing miserably at not worrying. "I'll worry once we have them taken care of," he promised, smiling sheepishly, and bending his head to take a small bite out of the fish. He hadn't been eating much lately, too busy worrying, or going on patrols for hunting. His mind was focused on one thing, and one thing only. Her kits. And of course, Shiverleaf's well-being.

Placing a softly concerned look upon her face she stared at Dewstream. His words were once again full of worry as she heard that he'd stop worrying after the kits were taken care of. Holding her soft gaze, she watched as he took a small bite out of the fish. "Oh Dewstream. Do try and relax. I'll be fine. Taintedleaf and Glasspaw will take good care of me. " Screechgale had disappeared. Taintedleaf had stepped up from being an apprentice and took on the duty as the new Zephyrclan Medicine Cat. Glasspaw was the newly appointed apprentice and she knew that they would take good care of her. Dewstream should know that too, and she wanted him to know that she would be fine. Taking another bite of the fish she sighed softly and squeaked softly as a kit pushed against her once more. Purring and laughing she smiled softly. "They scare me sometime."

Dewstream chuckled happily. "I just can't wait to see them and watch them grow up," he purred. "I'm sure they'll grow up good and strong," he meowed. At least he wasn't worrying anymore as he took another bite of the fish. He hadn't really had a good taste of fish in a while, normally taking one quick bite, then his mind roaming onto something else, and the fish was left alone. He purred happily. "I can't wait, we'll have a family," he meowed happily, nuzzling his mate.

Laughing as he seemed to change the subject onto the new family that was approaching, Shiverleaf was happy that he wasn't worrying. She didn't like having other worry about her for it only made her feel pressured and that she was being confined to the very close watch of another. She liked being able to roam about. She still could, for that fact that her belly was not that big and still allowed her movement that most Queens could not do. She was far off from having her kits, and she was glad for it. For she knew that they would be a pain as they grew bigger inside of her. She could only hope that when she did grow bigger, the kits would come join their father on the world outside. "You can't wait for anything." She teased lightly purring and rubbing against the tom. She was glad to have somebody to go through this with.

"Well, I mean...yes...I guess...I suppose, you're right, I can't wait for anything," Dewstream purred, cuffing a paw over his mates ear playfully."Thank you for pointing that out," he meowed dramatically. "But this, I will wait for and can wait for," he stated boldly, smiling brightly. "Who do you think they'll take after?" he asked curiously. His legs were protesting angrily, so the tom sat down, curling his tail neatly over his paws. His mind and gaze drifted off as he dreamed about his kits, his future, his mates future, and the future of the beginning of his family.

Taintedleaf walked out of his den, stretching his back i nan arch. He blinked open his green eyes, taking in the suroundings. He had just recently been given the medicine cat position in his Clan, due to Screechgales disspearance. He was young, very young. ONly 8 moons old really. But he knew what he was doing. He had learned all he knew in two moons only and was hardly frightned of his newly aquired position. He spotted Shiverleaf and her mate Dewstream not to far off. He decided to check in on them quickly.
"Good morning Shiverleaf, Dewstream. How are those kits treating you Shiverleaf?" he asked, wrapping his plumy tail around his white paws as he sat with them. He was anxious to know how far along Shiverleaf was. ooc: How long till she kits?
