Lightningstrike Thrusting his way into the broad tunnel entrance, sounds of bustling activity soon reached Lightningstrike's ears. Patches of light burst through the ground every so often, and tiny flakes of dust and dirt drifted down lazily. Reaching the main cave, where the clan meetings took place and the fresh-kill was gathered, he relaxed onto his haunches and curled his tail. Selecting a squirrel from the pile, he savored it quietly, hoping someone might come chat with him, lighten up his day.

Nettlepaw padded into camp just in time to see Ghoststar disappearing into her den, she would probably tell the clan of the rogue later. He looked around the camp and soon spotted his mentor, Lightningstrike. "Lightningstrike!" He called and quickly padded over to him. "There was a rogue in the forest, she attacked Ghoststar! And she almost attacked me too, but then she just disappeared again, saying something about the fact that she shouldn't have come. Ghoststar didn't get any cuts though." He meowed without pausing for breath. The small scuffle had been exciting yet scary all the same for him, he would have liked to have had a chance to attack the stupid rogue who thought that they could get away with wandering onto Celestialclan territory.

Lightningstrike's ears flicked, bewildered, as he took in the rush of info. "We haven't had a rogue in ages! And she just disappeared...?" he shook his head and flexed his claws a bit. "Well, we'll make sure she knows CelestialClan is a force to be reckoned with. She can't be too much to worry about." Getting to his feet and stretching awkwardly in the somewhat cramped cave, he soon suggested, "Hey, do you want to train today? We'll keep an eye out for that rogue, too."

"Yes, she just ran away, after having a scuffle with Ghoststar and threatening to attack me." He meowed. His tail twitched in annoyance, the she-cat would not be a problem for the clan to deal with, if she ran away she must be a true coward. "Sure! Training sounds fun, and if we spot the rogue I will teach her to threaten me." He hissed and swatted the air with one sheathed paw. His tail lashed behind him for a few moments before giving a dismissive flick, she didn't matter just as long as she didn't show up again, and if she did then she would not last very long at all. "So where are we going for training today?" He asked. There were different places to train, some better than others, there wasn't a lot of flat ground in the clan, and if there was it was usually hard to get to.

Lightningstrike
Lightningstrike parted his jaws to answer, then realized he hadn't really thought it out. They could have gone back to where the rogue had attacked, but even a stupid rogue wouldn't have the nerve to return and try the same stunt. Then there was the spring, which wasn't exactly flat like he would have preferred, but what good was a CelestialClan cat who couldn't fight on slanted ground, anyways? "How's the spring sound to you? he asked, voicing his thoughts. "We probably won't see the rogue there, too far in, but I think it's a good place."
Ooc: Doing this to avoid the MC scouts xD

Nettlepaw tilted his head to the side for a short moment to think about it. It wasn't very flat in the spring, but what kind of Celestialclan warrior would he be if he couldn't fight on slanted ground, that way he could fight other cats no bother if they invaded, where as the other cats would fail to fight as well due to the slanted terrain. "Sure, that sounds good." He meowed with a nod of his head. He would basically train anywhere he was told they would be training, after all Lightningstrike was the warrior and he was the apprentice. He couldn't wait to become a warrior like Lightningstrike, and be able to fight like Ghoststar. It hadn't been a very vicious scuffle he had seen but it was impressive all the same.

Lifting her head with the morning sun, Dancingswan elegantly stood. Her bodice maneuvered carefully around the sleeping kits that were her own. They were so precious, and so beautiful. Only she didn't know where their father had gone and she was pretty sure they would grow up without him. Maybe she would find another to love, another to be by her side. But until then she was raising the kits on her own, whether she liked it or not. Poking her skull out of the den and seeing a Lightningstrike and Nettlepaw up and about, as well as her brother Omencurse, the Queen pulled her skull back into the den and crept over to where her kits slept. Nosing them each slightly, to awaken them from their slumber, she decided it would be easy enough to take them out into the camp to play. There weren't other cats to bother and they wouldn't be in the way all too much. "Wake up my dear ones. We're going to be in the camp most of the day instead of cooped up in this den." Giving a nudge to the last kit, Vaporkit, Dancingswan danced to the entryway.
Curling into a tiny ball, Cirruskit didn't want to wake as she felt her mother nudge her, trying to rouse the drowsy kits. Unfurling herself and jumping to her paws, tiny acoustics twitched at her mother's lyrics. Bouncing on all four paws, Cirruskit bounded over to her siblings and pounced on them. "Come on! Come on!" With that she scurried over to the entryway, slipping and almost falling to the ground. Regaining her footing she bounded out the door and tumbled into the camp. Her blue eyes danced all over the camp, looking around at the wonders she had never seen. Spotting the other two cats, Cirruskit dropped into a clumsy crouch and snuck behind a bush. Her eyes targeted Nettlepaw, narrowing as she watched with excitement.

Lightningstrike
Lightningstrike quickly hid a grin as a tiny Cirruskit emerged from the nursery and prepared to pounce on the unsuspecting Nettlepaw. No way they could seriously continue their conversation now, not with that little gremlin lurking in the bush. "Um, alright, the spring it is." he mumbled, trying very hard now to conceal his laughter.

Nettlepaw nodded and wondered why his mentor was suddenly acting so suspicious. He refrained from narrowing his eyes and questioning him about this. "Well shall we get going then?" He meowed impatiently. He wasn't the most patient tom around, and waiting made him restless, his tail flicked impatiently behind him.
Stratuskit squealed as she felt her mothers cold nose being pushed into her pelt and she tried to squirm away. Her dark brown eat twitched irritably as she rose to her tiny cream colored paws. She followed her mother out of the den without further refusal. Without thinking she raced over to her sister who was crouching in the shadows and leaped for her, she would show Cirruskit. Expecting to land on a squishy ball of fur she squealed in alarm as she landed on her back on the hard ground. She had obviously missed her sister and gone tumbling over her. She growled in annoyance. Getting into the hunters crouch she wiggled her hind before leaping on a leaf, that appeared to grow wings and fly away. Stratuskit gasped in shock and excitement. "What was that?" She squealed running over to her mother.

Exiting the den as Cirruskit and Stratuskit zoomed by her, Dancingswan gingerly made her way to the sunlight and dropped her haunches. Her tail curled around her paws and eyes glimmered as she watched Cirruskit "hunt" Nettlepaw. Almost breaking out into laughter, she silenced herself in hopes of her little kit actually pouncing on his tail. Noticing Stratuskit make her way towards Cirrsukit, Dancingswan expected the worst. Cirruskit wouldn't think too highly of her sister pouncing on her while she was on a "mission", and Dancingswan knew that much about her kits. Their personalities had developed enough so that she could easily be told what a kit did and say, 'Oh, that's so and so'. As Stratuskit came squealing back to her about a bug, Dancingswan couldn't help but laugh. Giving her a lick upon her skull she shook her own lightly. "That was a bug. There's plenty of them around here." Her voice was calm and soothing as she spoke. Dancingswan had the natural motherly nature to her.
Hearing tiny paw-steps coming her way, Cirruskit turned to find Stratuskit heading her way. Flicking her tail in annoyance and mouthing no! over and over again, she was relieved with her sister landed on her back. Holding in laughter, she quickly turned to her "victim", Nettlepaw. Orbs took in the sight of him, and suddenly his tail twitched. Mischievous! That was not something she saw him do every day! Wriggling her tiny body she pounced, landing on his tail and sinking her tiny teeth into it. THrough a mouthful of fur she squealed her victory.

watch it pop; that star in the sky
A squeak of joy erupted from the young, young kitten, her paws batting the air as she reared like a noble lion, purring. Finally! She awaited this day! For course, not for the adventure, but to at least satisfy the burning curiosity of the outside world, all the other cats tromping about, it frightened her, though. What if she was trampled by those big kitty paws? The fearful thought soon popped like a bubble, though, when all her siblings raced utside like newly uncaged beasts, racing for their new world like there were adders snapping in the nursery snapping at their streaming tails. Her small paws fumbled several times as Spectrumkit struggled to run like the rest of her kin, but finally, she tripped and was sent tumbling into her mother's chest. Large, blinking green eyes stared at the pretty young tabby who was her dam, and a smile formed. "Hi Mama," She purred sheepishly. Spectrumkit decreeed then and there she wanted to grow up to be Dancingswan; peaceful and loving. Squirming, the diluted calico finally crawled to her paws and looked around, it was just so... bright... and colorful! She spied Vaporkit and crouched, wiggling her rump excitedly as she sprung, tackling him cheerfully.

Lightningstrike couldn't help but to purr himself as Dancingswan's gorgeous kits came tumbling out of the nursery one by one, bright eyes sparkling, tiny limbs flailing. Pure innocence. Maybe the training session could wait a few minutes, Nettlepaw wouldn't mind, especially with the little piranha Cirruskit latched onto his tail. I wish Shadewing was here to see this, the tabby tom thought suddenly, recalling how she was so concerned kits would trip over a certain fallen tree. She was so kindhearted; he was fortunate to have her. He knew that, one fateful day, if by chance they ever had kits, she would be as wonderful a mother as Dancingswan. No, even better, he decided. Time seemed to overlap on itself as he dwelled in its thoughts, and the kits tumbled to and fro. Finally he got to his feet and nodded to his apprentice. "Alright, Nettlepaw. Let's get going." [/sub]

Stratuskit purred as her mother licked her skull. "Ok Mama." She squeaked and rubbed her fur against her mother. As she padded off her tail stuck straight up in the air and she moved without bending her legs and ended up falling flat on her face. Picking herself back up again she charged across the camp and went tumling into the apprentices den. She leaped to her feet yet again and began sniffing around the apprentices den. This would be her home soon, but not soon enough. She had only just left the nursery. Turning back around she left the empty den and padded back out in the clearing. She curled up next to her mother and closed her eyes as the sun warmed her pelt. It was good to be out of the den, she was getting bored of being stuck in there with her siblings anyway. It was beginning to get a little crowded with the rate they appeared to be growing at.
Nettlepaw jumped as he felt jagged needles sinking into his tail, and when he turned around there was a kit attached to his tail that didn't seem to have any intention of moving. He purred lightly. Maybe her would be a warrior by the time the kits were made apprentices and maybe he would be able to become a mentor to one of them. He looked around at Cirruskit fondly. He looked up as his mentor spoke to him and nodded. Grabbing Cirruskit by the scruff he pulled her off his tail and put her gently on the ground. "I will play with you later." He promised and padded to his mentors side. "Ok lets go." He mewoed enthusiastically.

Waving a quick goodbye to Dancingswan and the kits with a flick of his tail, Lightningstrike trotted back into the entrance tunnel, clambering over tree roots and the like. Sunlight illuminated their path, pushing them onward until the tabby tom placed a paw outside, relishing the afternoon breeze. "Come on, this way." he beckoned his apprentice, confident in his knowledge of the territory.

sorry if this is a little confusing.
"GHOSTSTAR! GHOSTSTAR!" He yowled while charging into camp and full speed. He skidded to a halt in the clearing, dust flying up behind him. His eyes were wide with panic and urgency. He took a second to get a breath and raced over to her den where he thought she would be only to meet her at the mouth of it.
Ghoststar's eyes flashed open at the urgent call of her name, she recognized Nettlepaw's tone. Her ears twitching in alarm she leapt up and pushed her way to the mouth of her den only to meet him at the entrance. He looked like he had seen a dog. She shuddered. "What is it Nettlepaw?" She meowed sternly.
Nettlepaw wanted to shy away from his leaders tone, it was so tense, so ready to lash out, of course he wasn't doing this for nothing. He tried to calm himself down, it was hard to speak due to panting. "Two suspicious loners, on the territory." He gasped. "Lightningstrike told me to come and fetch you, quickly." He added hastily.
Ghoststar nodded. What was with loners on camp territory today? She had already seen off one with no damage done to herself, maybe the same one had brought back a friend with her? Though she doubted it. "What are you waiting for then?" She meowed and prompted the apprentice on.
He was still gasping for breath as he stood before his leader. "They are near the brambles by the training hollow." He meowed. He knew at this rate he would never be quick enough to lad Ghoststar there, and she would get impatient. The she-cat was so much larger and so much more well built than himself. He could see her springing through the trees at ease, leaving him miles behind.
Ghoststar nodded and raced out of camp, Nettlepaw could catch up, she knew that, but she had to be there with Lightningstrike.
Nettlepaw to terra. Ghoststar to terra.
