A pale figure scrambled up the grassy slope. She leaped into the air with a yowl of triumph and landed on the top boulder. Turning around, she dug her claws into the moss, just in case, and yowled, "I win, Moonpaw!" to the skinny black cat that was following her. The clearing was a slope dotted with mossy boulders that appeared to be growing out of the side of the land, placed so that a cat can leap from one to the other all the way up. Cloudpaw and her sister loved doing this, especially if they didn't fall on the way and managed to get up quickly.
Moonpaw threw herself at the boulder, landing right on top, and called up to Cloudpaw, "You always win 'cause you're bigger than me! That isn't fair!" But Moonpaw kept scrambling and leaping until she reached her sister. Giving the black and white she-cat a friendly flick of her tail, Moonpaw grinned. This was the best part. She postitioned herself so that she could see right to the bottom of the little slope, where there was a bunch of ferns and an old mossy log that prevented anyone from falling any further. Cloudpaw did the same, and then meowed, “Ready…go!”
The two cats launched themselves off the boulder and started sliding down the smooth grass, yowling as they went. Moonpaw flattened her ears but her expression was one of excitement. After a few giddy moments of descent, the apprentices hit the log, the ferns cushioning the impact. “Let’s do it again!” meowed Cloudpaw, and she leaped to the next boulder. Moonpaw hurled herself up next to Cloudpaw, and before the bigger apprentice could move Moonpaw was off again, in the lead for once, yowling, “You can’t catch me!”

Ghoststar purred and rolled onto her back, there was so many of them, mice, all running across her territory, winding through the legs of her cats. A yowl escaped her maw and they all turned to look at her, the apprentices were squealing like kits, and the warriors were licking their lips, the elders were getting ready to pounce, and the kits were hidden under the mice. Her purr began to fade as the mice squealed in terror and began to run, she urged her clan to follow but no matter how fast they ran they could not catch up. Then she was consumed by darkness, nothing more than a bite sized snack. The last thing she saw was two apprentices.
Blinking here eyes open she found herself lying on her back with a warm belly purring like a monster. Her eyes pricked as she heard yowls and squeals, instantly alarmed she jumped to her paws and sprinted from her den in the direction that the noise was coming from. Her path led her out into the clan territory, she looked around her rapidly, breathing heavy, her heart thudding in her chest, it felt like it was about to burst out. If there was danger in her territory, near her clan, then she would sort it out. Her long limb carried her through the forest. Stopping dead her paws burned with anxiety, thats when she realized that all the noised was only a couple of apprentices, had they been in her dream on purpose. She growled. She had pelted out of her warm and cosy den for this? An anguished sigh escaped her maw as she began to calmly pad forward.
"Come here both of you, now." She said sternly. Now Ghoststar was not a party pooper, she liked to have fun too, but not when it scared all the prey in the territory away and not when it sounded like danger in her territory. She held back a growl and promised herself that she would not be too hard on the innocent apprentices, she would not punish them and she would not get carried away. She would calmly explain why she was angry, then maybe take them out hunting. After all, Cloudpaw was her apprentice, and it wouldn't do any harm to take Moonpaw along too, after all they were sisters. She softened her hard gaze, she didn't want to frighten the apprentices, but she didn't want to make them think that what they had just done was an ok thing to do. She hadn't been paying much attention when she left camp, but she wouldn't be surprised if a patrol of warriors came pelting through the trees after her. Then again, they would probably all be too busy sleeping, like she was not so long ago.

Cloudpaw and Moonpaw both froze at the sound of another voice behind them. They flattened themselves to the ground with wide open eyes when they saw their leader standing there, obviously cross with them. Cloudpaw started to slink back down the slope, eyes apologetic as she glanced at Ghoststar, her mentor. She hoped that the silver she-cat wouldn't punish her. After all, they had only been having fun.
Moonpaw wondered why the leader was cross. After all, they hadn’t done any harm. She looked a little sleepy though – she and her sister must have woken her up. Moonpaw followed her sister, black tail held low. “We’re sorry Ghoststar,” they mewed in unison.

Ghoststar gazed down at the two sorry apprentices. "I know you are sorry, but you nearly gave me a heart attack there, I thought we were under attack, not to mention the noise that you were making!" She meowed. She paused to take a deep breath to calm herself. She wore an absent smile on her maw and dipped her head to touch her nose to each apprentices head in turn. "I know you were only having fun, but please try to keep the noise down in future." She meowed. She turned to see Nettlepaw pushing his way through the ferns the apprentices had landed in moments ago, he looked slightly panicked, but rolled his eyes as he got nearer. "You aren't starting all the fun without me are you." He pouted in a slight mocking tone, and dipped his head in respect to his leader. Ghoststar nodded in return. "Seen as you have probably scared the prey away we had better go and try to find some." She meowed to her apprentice. Then she turned to the other two "You may come along if you wish." Nettlepaw nodded then looked to Moonpaw for her answer.

Cloudpaw nodded, tail flicking in anticipation. Moonpaw brightened up again and squealed., "Yay! Where are we going?" she then realised that she was supposed to calm down and stared at her paws, embarrassed. Cloudpaw rolled her eyes at her sister and meowed to Nettlepaw, "Hey there." She smiled at him. Moonpaw shot her a look, and Cloudpaw twitched an ear back at her. She hoped very much that Moonpaw was not suggesting something. After all, she was only being friendly. The two apprentices looked up at Ghoststar again, waiting to see where they would go.

Nettlepaw flicked his tail and grinned at Cloudpaw. "Hey." He purred, then looked around at Ghoststar to see where she would lead them. Ghoststar looked thoughtful for a moment, where would she take them? Then her eyes brightened up a little as she thought of an idea. "Why don't we have a little competition? Whoever catches the most prey and brings it back to camp wins." She meowed. "You will all go and hunt on your own, and catch as much prey as possible, when I think you have had enough time I will come and gather you all in, lay your piles in camp and the apprentice with the largest pile will win. You may hunt anywhere in Celestialclan territory." She meowed. She looked around the apprentices to see what they thought.

A silver she-cat padded out of the dark tunnel that lead to her camp. As she neared the entrance, the broad sunshine gulfed up the darkness. Aquadapple was a senior warrior, and the past deputy had passed away. She wondered who the new deputy was going to be. I have been a leader, and a medicine cat before, but only in my passed lives. I have had no experience in this time. Her paws seemed to carry her through the undergrowth, but she stopped dead in her tracks. What am I doing? Trying to kill myself? I know better then to walk on the ground how the terrain is! She then pounced to the nearest tree limb, landing gracefully on it. Aquadapple than began making her way up the tree, and then jumping from tree to tree, before coming to a leveled out clearing where she saw two apprentices, and her leader, GhostStar. The blue eyed cat jumped down from the tree, and landed close beside her leader then meowing," Well, this is one of the very few spots you can actually touch the ground, no?"

Ghoststar looked around as she heard an approaching cat, that landed neatly beside her, Aquadapple. Ghoststar bit down on her lip, she was a good choice for her deputy. "Yes, I almost broke all my paws while charging across here to see what all the noise was about, only to find two apprentices." She mewoed and flicked her tail to the two she-cats standing in front of her. "They were just going to have a hunting competition, maybe you could help me make sure none of them cheat? Not that my apprentice or her sister would. Nettlepaw, however I'm not sure about him." She meowed and chuckled lightly as Nettlepaw pricked his ears. "I am only joking Nettlepaw." she purred.

Silently, oh so silently, Jerry padded forward. She scented them before she spotted them. The cats, carefree and happy. Unlike her. Jerry was sour towards the Clan cats. They would never know the pain of being torn away from her mother, watching her father be killed at such a young age... She shook her head. I'm not going to let myself remember... Not today... Not anyday. She started toward the cats. A silver cat, a slightly... eerie silver cat... like a... ghost. Jerry blinked. It wasn't a ghost. The other cats were much smaller and younger... Older than the age when Jerry was torn into pieces. She pounced onto the Ghost-cat, her claws sinking into it's back.

Ghoststar yowled as claws sunk into her back. How dare they. She let out a snarl and rolled onto her back, using all her weight to crush the intruder. This was obviously no warrior of hers, and she could scent they stench of a rogue. It swirled through her scent glands and caused her to wrinkle her nose. This rogue was stupid however, thinking that they could get away with attacking this group of cats, especially with herself, the leader in it, a very experienced warrior, and three apprentices who were well trained and strong. She yowled pushing her beck to the ground to crush the cat underneath her. "How dare you set a paw on my territory rougue." She snarled.

"How daaaare you put your fat butt on me!" Jerry called from beneath the old furbag. She clawed the she-cat as she rolled out from underneath her. "God... Have a bit much to eat?" she taunted. She hissed at the apprentices with narrowed eyes. "Now which one of you is gonna go whining back to camp for help?" she hissed at the apprentices. She padded toward the tabby apprentice. Jerry looked into the apprentices eyes. She fell backwards with hurt in her eyes. She should have never came here... She looked at the Ghost-cat. She backed away from the cats. She felt like a pure rogue, with a sour heart. She felt like it was her that killed her father. The band of rogues her father brought her to killed him, yet took her... Why? Why not kill them both or let them both live... She came back to reality. She stared at the cats with the fear she had had when she was torn away from her mother...

"You are as easy to squish as a kittypet, and you fight like one too." She spat and turned to the she-cat snarling. Bringing a paw up she aimed a blow at the she-cats face. She narrowed her eyes as she approached Nettlepaw, she got herself ready to spring in case the rogue made a move on him. Nettlepaw growled and brought his paws up to attack the rogue, but stopped and pulled back when he saw the look on her face. Hew knew it wasn't because of him, he wasn't scary enough to scare a rogue like her, he would have been though had he been a warrior. The snarl vanished from his throat and he turned to look at Ghoststar with wide eyes, then he turned back to gaze at the rogue, in case she was just messing with him, but it didn't seem like it. He briefly saw his leaders eyes narrow out of suspicion and guessed that she would be thinking exactly the same thing as he was. He kept his claws unsheathed and ready to strike and so did Ghoststar.

[glow=red,2,300]Jerry calmed down a little bit. "I'm sorry..." she mewed. All she wanted to do was go back t her mother... "I should have never came here... I... I was just looking for my mother..." she meowed before padding away into the trees.[/glow]

Cloudpaw and Moonpaw exchanged a glance. They had been a little nervous and hostile when they first saw the rogue, but were now a little confused. Didn't rogues usually stay and attack you, rather than wander off? Well the cat was gone now, but Ghoststar would probably want to make sure she had left the territory. Moonpaw spoke first. "Are we still going to have the hunting competition?" She only asked because it sounded fun, but she knew it would probably have to wait.

Aquadapple looked at her leader at the mention of a hunting competition. "Sure, I can do that. But I don't think these adorble apprentices would even think about cheating," she meowed while glancing over at them. The silver she-cat turned away, and by the time she did, she heard yowls of anger. When the blue eyes cat turned back around, a rouge was padding off. Aquadapple spoke, confused," Why, what was that all about? I turn around for a second and a rouge attacks, then leaves."
