Soulcatcher
The sun rose its gentle rays lighting up the camp it dim colors. Its light touching the face of Soulcatcher his black pelt glistening as his red fur looking like fire on his subtle pelt. He never felt to comfortable being confided in the warriors den, seeing as he wasnt really close to anyone. His eyes gradually opened as the sun reached his eyes, his golden tainted pools looked to his paws. Giving a groan he got to his wolf like paws his tail brushing the grass as he stood. Looking around the camp he walked into the center clearing laying down leting the sun seeped into his fur as he rested his head on his massive paws once again as he let out a sigh.

Kindlepaw smirked, watching the ebony warrior groan and stretch. Feeling stiff joints already, pops? She pranced over to the fresh-kill pile, selecting a small, undergrown rabbit and tearing into its flesh. Sure, the sun felt nice, but she would never give it THAT much credit.
Soon she had devoured most of the meat, carelessly leaving the remains strewn about in a tail-lengths radius, and padded off, hoping to find something more lively than this old gramps.

Soulcatcher Soulcatcher watched as the apprentice smirked Lousy apprentice look at me that way like im lazy he growled geting to his paws. Flexing his muscles he unshealthed his claws then shealthed them again. Turning his mussle towards the camp entrence he walked. His young muscles relaxed from the strech he got into a crouching like motion as he walked past her his eyes narrowed into slits with annoyance. "You going hunting?" he replied turning his emotionless golden gaze to the apprentice.

Kindlepaw laughed inwardly, like she was supposed to be intimidated by this? This was her way of life. The day where her elders would actually knock some respect into her would never come. She cut Soulcatcher some slack, though, at least he wasn't forcing some kind of retarded rule or ethic on her. She raised a paw and nonchalantly washed it with her tongue. "Oh, maybe. What's it matter to you?"

Soulcatcher Soulcatcher gave a low growl as he gritted his teeth in annoyance but he didnt let her see it. Flexing his muscles to relax his rage and himself he turned his lion like mussle to face her. "Nothing i just thought you might want company, but if not i could care less. im better alone." he replied cooly before turning his face back to the front. He could really care less of what she thought of him, he could care less of what anyone thought of him. He felt like the plauge no one wanted to be around him, though he knew why. His origin and his attitude he never meant to be this way personaly but it was just who he was. Giving a shrug at his thoughts he kept going, not caring if Kindlepaw answered him or not.

"Kindlepaw!" A glistening, healthy tabby pelt appeared, it's downy fur fluffing this way and that untidily, for he had just woken. Clean, snowy white paws carried his nimble, feminine frame toward the vivid calico she-cat cheerfully. Nimbuspaw had a wide grin on his kitten-like features, while he bounced he to fresh-kill pile next to her. His grayish brown eyes were bright with happiness, and sleep as he waved his tail in greeting, he politely acknowledged Soulcatcher by dipping his head. "You going hunting today?" He asked her eagerly.

Kindlepaw grinned in satisfaction, watching the tom stalk off. She had dealt with much worse - at least some cats had the sense to know that wasn't going to go changing for anyone. Whirling around, she now turned to face the new arrival. She watched in disgust as he showed off his spotless manners to Soulcatcher - he was so naive sometimes. "I was thinking about it." she nodded at Nimbuspaw as she answered the question for the second time today. "We could use it, with these stiff old warriors laying around her doing nothing." she snorted.

Another apprentice appeared from a den, her coat still slightly rumbled from her hasty wash. She had taken a nap earlier, having been up half the night. Sleep had not come easy to her. Too many thoughts had been running through the young she-cat's head.
The golden tabby quickly gazed around the clearing then sighed in disappointment. Her mentor, yet again, wasn't around. Perhaps she could go hunting on her own or with a few companions. It wasn't long before she saw Kindlepaw, Soulcatcher, and Nimbuspaw. A small snort of digust escaped her as she turned from her fellow she-cat. The young cat had no manners, no respect. It just wasn't right. She didn't want to eask either apprentice to go hunting. Nimbuspaw was nice and all, but she couldn't stand Kindlepaw. Something about that cat made her fur feel as if it were being rubbed the wrong way. Perhaps she could go hunting with Soulcatcher. He was quiet most of the time, but nice. "Hey Nimbuspaw! Kindlepaw." She called, voice flat at the end. Heading past them, Goldenpaw sped up to match Soulcatcher's long strides. "Wait up! Wait!" She meowed, being careful not to trip over anything.

Soulcatcher Soulcatchers tail swung furiously at the apprentices attitude he couldnt stand it, it made him just want to rake his claws down her face but he wouldnt. Heaving a sigh and grumble he went back into his stalking posiotion it made him more ellusiove and fast. His ears pricked at the sound of another voice. Another apprentice... he thought growling though he didnt hate apprentices he was just completly annoyed. Turning his lion like mussle to turn to the new voice. Noticing the more respectful Goldenpaw as he let his fur lay flat. His emotionless gaze lingered on her but not in a completly unfriendly manner "Greetings Goldenpaw, what brings you over here?" he asked in his monotone type voice as he stoped to wait for her to catch up. His jet black tom with a lion mane flank with his red ruby clumps of fur glistened.

Goldenpaw dipped her head deeply, having heard Kindlepaw's horrible treatment earlier. The golden tabby looked toward where he was going, her eyes alight with intrest. What had he been looking at. Then, remembering her purpose to go out here, she dismissed the thought. "Oh nothing really. Just wandering around for now. Thought I'd go hunt." She meowed as if she hadn't had the idea to ask him to hunt. Better to let the annoyed warrior think she was just going the same way she was. Turning to look back to the black tom, she meowed, "You going to hunt?"

Kindlepaw rolled her eyes as Goldenpaw skittered off to join the black tom. She honestly couldn't care less what they thought of her. If the tawny apprentice wanted to be a complete and total suck-up, that was her business. But she would have no affiliation with that oaf.
She sighed in frustration as she wondered, not for the first time, why life was so...structured. So many rules, so many codes, so many cats who expected her to say "please" and "thank you" and dip her head every time a warrior walked by. Well, mouse dung to that. No one would ever see it her way, but that was fine. She was who she was, and everyone else would just have to deal with it.

Soulcatcher Soulcatcher watched as the she-cat the bounded up to him, his eye blinked in acknowledgement as she approched him. His eyes rested on her as she spoke of her intention though he thought a spark of intrest flared in her eyes for a moment, but he pushed it aside. "Wandering, huh i do that a lot." he replied actually having a small hint of kindness mushed in his voice. His eyes widened as she asked him if he was going hunting, instantly knowing her intentions and for once he probably wouldnt mind the company. "As a matter of fact i am, would you like to come along?" he asked his eyes narrowing in wonder to her answer. "I could teach you some hunting to if you like." he insisted , as he paws itched to get moving but stayed and waited patiently for her answer.

Goldenpaw threw a glance back toward camp. Her mentor still hadn't appeared. It couldn't hurt to get training from someone else though. Besides, she had few friends. Someone new to talk would be a good thing as well.
Feeling excitement race to her paws, the young cat kneaded the ground impatiently. Her eyes lit up at his double offer, feeling quite happy about this. "Sure! If you don't mind of course." She meowed hastily, almost forgetting to add the last part on.

Soulcatcher He couldnt help but let out a chuckle at her enthusism as he gave a curt nod. "Very well then, come along." he replied turning around to continue walking his ears pricked for any sounds other than him and goldenpaw as he treaded through his clans terrain. "Now the best thing to do is to cut off every sound even make your breathing silent. Listen to things around you as well as scenting them." he instructed his tail not even brushing the ground as he made his pawsteps silent. Looking back he stoped waiting for her to try out her tracking with hearing.

Goldenpaw began to pad forward, focusing on keeping her weight evenly balanced so she wouldn't be heard. Her ears continued to swivel back and forth, doing their best to capture each and every sound around them. Her breathing quieted as her eyes grew wide. If only you stopped to listen, you could hear so much more. Like the faint voices of the clan camp, the call of a bird alot more than a hundred paw steps away. It was all so clear to her. Turning her gaze to Soulcatcher, she gave an astonished nod. "It's really amazing Soulcatcher. How'd you figure this out?" She meowed, curious. Her mentor hadn't taught her this. Well, not yet anyway.
