SHORT DESCRIPTION// A polite slate colored tom.
DESCRIPTION// Veilpaw is quite large and muscular in build, and is polydactyl. This means that his paws, though only his hind paws, have more than the average number of toes, which is four; instead, he has six toes on each hind foot, making said paws appear quite massive, and making quite an advantage in battle when clawing the enemy. While most of his fur, including his feet, is smoky gray in coloring, his underside is somewhat different, visibly a light, golden brown. His build is added to by the fact that his fur is quite long, and if a cat teased him that he appeared like an irritated storm cloud when it puffed up it wouldn't be the first time. As far as sight goes, Veilpaw has eyes a bit like his mother's, a light yellow, though they appear warmer due to having a bit of a green shine. His sight itself is average, though, as keen as any warriors.
PERSONALITY// Oddly enough, like his mother, he is one of the sweetest cats around, despite his rogue/delirium blood. Occasionally fears that others are afraid of him due to his background. Wishes to befriend others, and for this reason, as well as his polite, sweetheart attitude, he tends to be friends with many she-cats but never anything more.
From the outside, he appears to be a tenacious, adventurous cat with a knack for getting into trouble and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. He treats older warriors with respect but can be a bit of a brat at times, especially if cats are rude to him first. Those that know him well know he would never take advantage of anyone, and that he can be slightly naive at times, regarding others emotions.
EXPERIENCE// VEILKIT-- Veilkit and his two siblings, Dewkit and Jasperkit, were born on a wet, miserable night, in the forest just in Celestialclan territory. Their mother, Fate, had fled and given birth to them there, not knowing the territory belonged to Celestialclan. Both of Veilkit's parents were born outside of the clan he calls home. Fatesong, his mother, was born to Delirium parents, before the rogue group disbanded; she was born to the name Fate, but assumed the name Fatesong upon joining the clan. This was after Titianfoot, the deputy of the clan, rescued Veilkit, his siblings, and mother; as he grew up Fatesong taught him to respect and look up to her, as the black queen is still grateful to her savior. Veilkit was originally called just Veil, but assumed a clan name when, on his second day alive, he joined the clan. His father, Weaselfoot, was not born in Delirium, but later joined it. Veilkit grew up knowing little about the background of his parents, and would not know until later that Weaselfoot's birth name was Conrad. As a kit in the Celestialclan Nursery, Veilkit was disliked by clan members, and didn't understand that it was because of his rogue blood, not a bit of it Celestialclan blood. Fatesong, too, was disliked, but he almost never saw her let it get her down, nor did he witness the difficulties between Weaselfoot and Fatesong. All in all, he had an average kit-hood, spending much of his time energetically playing with his brother, Jasperkit, and his sister, Dewkit, in the nursery; he won almost all of their play fights, as he was the largest of the three kits, and spoke more loudly to Dewkit, realizing that she was hard of hearing. Even as a kit, he had aspirations to become deputy.
