Panacea is, without a doubt, one of the most quiet and submissive felines one could ever encounter, with the most soft, wavering voice, she speaks in practically a whisper at all times, and only when spoken to. Even then, she'll keep it short and to the point to avoid retaining any attention, because if there's anything she doesn't want, it's attention. So it's odd that she was on the path to becoming CelestialClan's only medicine cat- though ended up instead as HollowClan's- but anyone who knows Panaceaheart knows that she could never make it in the life of a fighting and hunting cat, and the life of a queen is the absolute last thing she would ever desire. She hates toms. Well, hate is a strong word and doesn't quite describe her feelings toward the opposite gender, but as her past had truly scarred her, she tries her hardest to keep away from males as they actually frighten her more than anything else. She is generally a docile individual, and as previously stated, very submissive. It's not hard to get Panacea to do what you want, for she's been cowed into a, at times, disturbingly meek demeanor. Still, this doesn't keep her from being bitter about, well, just about everything. When she thinks no one is listening, one can always be assured in knowing that she is without a doubt making sour and sarcastic comments about this, that, or the other thing. She's actually a very intelligent individual, ever creative at her job in finding solutions to many problems, and while she is indeed a shockingly coy little cat, Panacea is always ready to give advice (depending on the cat seeking it, of course) because she has picked up, from her former mentor, the unending desire to help. She's very hard-working at being a medicine cat, and even at simply being a clan cat, for deep down within her lies a passionate vein of devotion, regardless of her incredibly introverted ways.

EXPERIENCE//

as an apprentice, pyrepaw of vertigoclan met a young warrior of an opposing clan (perhaps of about 14 to 17 moons) who, while complete rivals at first, couldn't stop meeting on the glacier. they fought, but they also made love several times, against their better judgement, but with all that "love" it was no surprise that pyrepaw was then with kits. she abruptly cut off contact with that rotten tom, and told the medicine cat at the time without hesitation, but threatened them immensely should the rest of the clan find out. thus began her elaborate 'sickness' which was an illness that seemed noncontagious, but threatened pyrepaw for a solid two moons all the same. meanwhile, the vertigoclan medicine cat had connections. at a gathering, she contacted her old friend pounceflash, the brother of celestialclan's former leader ghoststar. thus, when pyrepaw finally birthed her two little she-kits, the medicine cat performed a clean drop-off on the celestialclan border, and pyrepaw was able to continue training without a second thought to her kits, though now as an adult cat she thinks about them much more.
regardless, pounceflash never took a mate, but did adopt a daughter in the young female called winterspice. thus, he asked her to raise these kits at her own. a different queen gave them milk, but it was winterspice who took the role of raising them with her father. hauntedkit, she named one, and panaceakit the other. both unusual names for unusual circumstances.
the two sisters grew up happily together, etc etc.
however once they were made apprentices, problems began to happen. number one, winterspice died a few moons after they began training and, number two, panaceapaw's mentor twisterclaw took advantage of her sorrow and weakness after this. her mentor assaulted her sexually not once, but several times until hauntedpaw found out and told pounceflash. with extreme control of his rage, pounceflash opted to tell the leader rather than take things into his own paws, so twisterclaw was brought before the leader in private and ultimately exiled. later his body was found mangled over the border with pounceflash's fur between his claws, but those who found his body had no problem with this, and chose not to report it. nevertheless, panaceapaw's rape was never made public to help her from future threats and embarrassment and the angry eyes of those who were close to twisterclaw. however her dramatic change just before his exile and soonafter opting to train as a medicine cat under fawndance helped many formulate guesses as to what had happened. panaceapaw became panaceaheart not long ago, but still struggles with the trauma caused to her by twisterclaw today.

pounceflash's adoptive granddaughter, hauntedsky's sister.
pyrestar, then pyrepaw, was impregnated during a foolish little fling and gave her two kits to a passing female on the celestialclan border to avoid raising them.
AND panaceaheart occasionally comes off as bipolar, as she is in a constant state of conflict between her terrified self, and doing the right and often scary thing.
