It is no coincidence that three litters are born on the journey, Starclan have sent them as a gift, a beacon, to lead the clans forward through these hard times and they are not the burden that some may perceive them to be. The full moon is at its highest point, the clans desperately seeking a sign in order to feel safe, and what should happen? Lilythorn, Splashmist and Hauntedsky all give birth to their kits under the protection of the full moon. Hauntedsky gives birth later than intended and Splashmist earlier than intended, but Starclan ensure all of their kits are delivered in perfect health. The medicine cats are mystified, the cats feel that the kits are their saviors as they all come together to celebrate. However, some cats are hungry for power and desperately want the litter of kits born to their clan to be special more than the others. Among a group of cats who are very much at peace such a thing causes tensions to rise and disputes. As Starclan watch the cats struggle to survive their hearts sink, they never intended for a fight to break out nor did they intend for the kits to be saviors they simply wanted the clans to feel hopeful for the uncertain future that lies ahead, but is it too late to tell them this?
Obviously this will not start until the kits are born so in the mean time continue as you were, this is just a taster for what is to come about half way through the journey!
