"Wow, this place is HUGE!" Clear was a sleek shimmer in the dim cavern, almost completely hidden with her smooth black fur. It was only the brightest of sunlight that turned parts of her chocolate brown, and only the little shines of light coming in from the roof revealed her to the searching eye. Her voice was louder than necessary and it echoed all around, which only fascinated her more. "It's like there are more cats here, and they all sound just like me!" Clear exclaimed in wonder, running forward to study a nook in the wall barely large enough to poke her nose in. "This place is amazing. I wonder how it got here? I wonder if other cats have lived here before? Like a whole clan of them. Caveclan! That would be really cool!" Her grin, nearly always present, grew at the thought of that. "Or maybe it would be Cavernclan, or Darkclan...?" She tried to imagine cats filling the open spaces, all dark pelted with bright eyes and sharp, gleaming fangs.
"It would be really grand if Tempestclan stayed here, wouldn't it, Jayblue?" The slim loner glanced back at the tom that had been 'assigned' to her. No sign of him. "Hey, Jayblue?" She spun in every direction, trying to catch his unfamiliar scent, or a brief flash of his icy blue eyes, glaring back at her. "Jayblue?" She tried one last time, but he was gone. "Hmm, that's really strange. Voidstar must have had a secret warrior mission for him, or something," she muttered, forgetting it all half a second later when water fell from the rocks above. Plink! A second drop fell, inches from her face. It's raining, but how? Rain comes from the sky, so how can it rain in here? Where's it coming from? Oblivious to all that went on around her, she sat very still and watched above, hardly daring to breathe lest she disrupt the unusual occurrence.

His mind felt like a blunt tool, something that was there but dysfunctional, lame, numb. He was numb. Numb with anger, with distraught. All the black and white tom could feel was his rage building, collapsing, and building again. How did it even come to that, The warrior was taken back, grueling with lack of understanding. His pupils were dilated and nostrils flared, hair along his spine and neck bristling. Pissed beyond reason. A Tempestclan tom had tried to order Torrentwake around, acting superior when in reality he was as fresh to the rank as a newborn. The muscular Vertigo cat had reacted calmly, simply reminding the tom they were all equals on the journey. But, the annoying ass had just kept picking and jibing and taunting until Torrentwake wanted to shove him to the hard floor and mutilate him. It didn't happen that way, thankfully. Instead there were snarled insults and threats and more reminders, and then the hazel eyed male had confirmed the unsaid - "I don't take your fucking orders, I take Pyrestar's."
His temper wasn't very popular, in fact it was as rare as finding a twenty dollar bill on the floor. This was because his anger built slowly, rising until he erupted. And his top had definitely blown. It had taken all his strength to not attack the pale tom, his control was balanced on a twig ready to snap. Don't do it. Don't do it. The words had echoed in his mind like the echos in this cavern. Friendly enough, the handsome feline did have accounts of violent outbursts. He tried to avoid those. is place is HUGE! the end of a sentence bounced off the stone walls, making the still smouldering cat look around. He'd been padding through the clans' makeshift camp, about to look for some peace when he stopped and glowered; where was the noise coming from? The muscular black and white feline continued his trek but slower, until he set his hazel sights on a black cat. His gaze hit her like daggers, wanting to rip her apart since she had been the first thing to annoy him in his easily irritable state. Gliding across the cave it was easy to step silently here, and he closed the space between them quietly. What is she doing? He could smell she was female, and something more...Tempestclan. His lip curled in disgust. A Tempest cat was the last thing he wanted to be around right now. But this one was peculiar - she looked confused, or bewildered the way she was looking around.
"Do you need help?" Torrentwake's words were still seething, but he managed a solemn expression. Looking at her straight on, she was pretty; a bit of white on her chest and such. The tomcat himself looked like he had a crooked jaw, when it was actually an illusion made by the black spot on the side of the curve. This made him have a crooked smile, which he obviously was not beaming right now. In the short silence, a fat drop of cave water plopped on his paw, making him recoil it closer to him in surprise. "Stupid journey," He grumbled, among other curses. Glancing back up, the warrior found himself looking into blue pools harbored by the strange she-cat.

It has to be coming from somewhere... But where? Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice thinly stretched with aggravation. In her fascination, she hadn't noticed the tom approach. "Do you need help?" What an odd question that was to ask at this very time. Here she was minding her own business, did she seem like she needed assistance? Had someone sent him to ask her that? It was very weird. Clear faced the tom with a smile, warm blue eyes observing his hazel discs and trying to make out the emotion that possessed him. Irritation. Anger. But why? Had she done something just because of what she was doing now? She hoped not. She didn't want to get into any fights. "No, thanks. Do you need any help?" came her careful reply, not wanting to further raise his ire. Her eyes returned briefly to the ceiling, and they traced the path of a particularly fat raindrop. Clear watched it collect, slowly coming together, and then, barely dangling from a line of moisture, it fell, plunging into the new tom-cat's black and white fur. She would have been delighted, but he, apparently, was not. As he cursed and sputtered, she continued to smile, although her features had become rather concerned. "I'm Clear, by the way. What's your name? I'm travelling with Tempestclan right now, and I don't really know too much, but if there's anything I can do to help..." It was just in her nature to be kind, even to a complete stranger in the darkest of spirits. And it was sort of nice to have someone to talk to, if only briefly. Tempestclan were rather unfriendly. Everyone had been pretty unfriendly to her, actually. "You can let me know! Okay?"

Some of the agitation was fading from his hazel eyes, and the aggression formally displayed fizzled out like a flame; extinguished. Not to say the handsome warrior's mood was completely brightened. The snarls between him and the arrogant tom left fresh bile in his throat. "No, thanks. Do you need any help?" Torrentwake's expression scrunched into a brow-crunched frown. Is she trying to be smart? Or make a joke? But nothing gave away any spiteful tones or underlying amusement. His white whiskers quivered in confusion. What did he seem like he needed help with? More than that - what could this little she-cat do to help him anyway? The muscular tom shrugged off the queer insight. "I don't think so." He meowed, monotone since he wasn't sure how to approach a proper reply to the retort. "I'm Clear, by the way. What's your name? I'm traveling with Tempestclan right now, and I don't really know too much, but if there's anything I can do to help..." So she isn't a clan cat! That explained a lot. With the ancient instinct instilled within him, the warrior drew back a little, holding her in a new light. A more withdrawn air. It wasn't quite fair, but that was what he'd been raised to do all his life. Separate from the enemy - because a harmless loner was the enemy? No. "You can let me know! Okay?"
He forced himself to relax. This Clear was not a threat, and as a firm believer in fairness he shouldn't have even considered treating her like an outsider. They were all on this journey together, as it stood. "What made you choose Tempestclan, if I may ask? You seem like a Celestial or Zephyrclan kind of cat to me." Torrentwake questioned, side-stepping the spot where he was dripped on to sit and curl his fluffy tail around his white paws. The tom may have still been slightly guarded despite his efforts, but his curiosity overwhelmed any doubts. It was so pungent he ignored to answer the rest of her words, though had heard them.

Clear didn't notice how he drew away from her at the revelation of her non-clan origins, naive as she was. It was better that way. Believing the best of everyone and thinking that nothing could hurt her. "What made you choose Tempestclan, if I may ask? You seem like a Celestial or Zephyrclan kind of cat to me." Oblivious to how her chosen clan was regarded by the other clan cats, Clear smiled curiously at Torrentwake, still wondering at his name but letting the subject drop. "Tempestclan is just where I wound up," she mewed mysteriously, blue eyes twinkling. "I've always admired Voidstar, anyway, ever since I first heard about him." Her nostrils flared as she breathed in deeply. "And you, are from Vertigoclan," Clear stated cheerfully, recognizing the scent. "Pyrestar seems really powerful, too. All of the leaders and deputies and medicine cats do." She thought for a moment about the bob-tail, conjuring her fire dashed hazel, silver, and white pelt and flame-kin eyes. "I'm not a warrior yet," she added. "Voidstar is having another cat train me, I guess. Right now I'm just travelling." She was burning with curiosity about him, but continued sharing information about herself in hopes of getting a little in return. Any conversation at all was encouraging.
