camp
Camp for these cats is actually inside of a monumental tree, hollowed out and deadened by its prolonged life. The tree's branches, too, are incredibly thick and hollow, creating cozy tunnels for some cats to sleep inside of, while other simply drape themselves across the branches or curl up between roots. The fresh-kill pile is in the middle of the hollow trunk, protected from predators. The enormous tree is surrounded by dense brush, shrouding it from unwanted visitors and creating extra shelter besides the tree's thick canopy. Around the camp is thick, lush grass which is home for mice and snakes alike, so young cats should be kept in the tree unless they are being watched. The highest ranks create nests in the highest, leafiest bows while warriors usually surround the truck to ward off enemies.
shore
One entire border of TempestClan's territory is lined by the muddy, deep waters of the lake where cats may come to socialize or hunt amongst the swamp-like shoreline. There is no sandy beach, only weeds and brush to cover the sparse land that melts into the water. Frogs, voles, and minnows are commonly found here, nad even some other types of prey live in the large shrubs that stud the landscape. However, it can become dangerous in this boggy area, for the mud and streams are decieving, and many cats have suffocated or drown in them. It takes a practiced TempestClan cat to successfully navigate the entire shoreline. Still, it's overflowing with prey most times of the year, so learning the shore is a necessary skill.
fen
The majority of TempestClan's land is a single, vast meadow of sorts- a fen, entirely covered in shrubbery and thin, tall, leafy trees to keep the numerous streams and tributaries from drying up in the heat of midday. Although the fen is not like a swamp, and is not dangerous like a bog, it is still very wet, for where there isn't a stream or trickle, the soil is very damp. Because of this, the land is full of foliage, though not lush foliage, it is mostly sparse shrubs and tall, golden grasses. The fen can be dangerous only because of the potential predators lurking in the tall plant life, but there is also plenty of prey like watervoles and minnows, but snakes are abound as well.
grove
Where the grasses from the fen gradually become more green, shorter, less concealing, the woods begin. The trees, primarily birch and aspen with a small scattering of evergreens, that grow together in this grove are not dense enough to be considered a forest, but create a sort of canopy over the area, making it an idea area for cats to come and enjoy the shade and usual lack of predators along with the dew-laced grases. However pleasant the woodland may seem, it is the closest to Trenton, therefore closest to Delirium and other clanless cats which creates an eminent threat for those enjoying the good hunting and comfort that comes with the grove, plus twolegs occasionally wander this land which is offputting for many.
