camp
The grass here is thicker, though shorter, than most of the territory, made thick with the mossy area in between each blade, and the weeds that shoot up within the grass itself. Just like the weeds, thin, young evergreens also spring from the earth, dotting the camp lightly, creating just enough cover that the cats, so used to the freedom of the open moor, don't feel trapped. The dens are made of burrows and grassy lumps which inhabitants create nests in, some even sleep out in the open, unafraid of the weather and the few predators. Running parallel to camp is a wide, calm stream. Even after downpour, the stream is lazy and slow- it could be mistaken for a pond.
trees
Though of course most of ZephyrClan's land is moor and fields, there are several sparse stands of evergreen here and there, clumped together often too thick for cats to comfortably nagivate. However, often small ponds or streams border these small groves, and cats come here to hunt the birds that nest in the pines, or the minnows which splash about in the little creeks and pools. This is usually a prime socializing area too, because of the cool shade which the trees offer and the availability of fresh, clean water. Often these areas are where mentors tend to bring their apprentices to train with hunting and tracking because of the thick scent of sap here.
lake
Where the other side of the lake is thick and muddy as the wind pushes all debris in that direction, the portion of lake that borders ZephyrClan is almost gem-like with its clear, aquamarine hues and soft sand that sometimes lines the shore, though it alternates between the silky grit and tall, thick reeds. Although ZephyrClan cats don't usually favor fish or fishing, they can if they choose, and along with frogs, watervoles, and muskrat that nest here plus various plovers and gulls, the lake is a lovely spot for hunting, or simply playing in the beautiful waters or basking upon the grassy beach, occasionally studded with hot, flat rocks..
moor
The moor is what completely engulfs ZephyrClan land, sprawling far and wide across the territory, and this is what the cats are most accustomed to frolicking, training, and hunting upon. ZephyrClan's most prominent food source, hares, are the most common prey found in the moorland. Heather and buttercups bloom until the air grows cold, and the temperatures are rather severe here, for usual lack of shade to find cover under. Still, most cats prefer to roam this area, with it's many trickling streams and brooks, the common deer sightings, and velvet rolling hills. However lush it may seem, predators like vipers and foxes roam here as well, creating threats for cats who wander alone.
