SHORT DESCRIPTION// A graceful, light tabby she-cat with pale green eyes.
DESCRIPTION// Mallowbreeze was always the smallest one in her litter and out of all her siblings she remains the smallest. However, that is not to say she is a very small she-cat as her litter are all quite reasonably sized cats, she just doesn’t seem to be able to stretch just as tall as Veiledchaos or quite as broad shouldered as her brother Regalchill. To put it simply her size is average. Even though she is average in size she does have some particular features which make her different to the other tabby females in her clan. For one her face comes to a narrow, sharp point, which is emphasized by the white on her chin and the mismatched dark tabby stripes that frame it resulting in her looking a little exotic. Something that adds to this is the fact she is very graceful and light on her paws and she always has been.
It is safe to say she looks more like her father than her mother as she has his tabby pelt, although her fur is short rather than long. A pale beige base covers her whole body and on top of that there are dark tabby stripes that help to emphasize her pelt in some areas. She is prettier than her mother as her mother always had a subtle beauty that you had to search for before you begun to notice it. She inherited her father’s striking eyes although they are in the shade of pale green rather than turquoise so she does have a little bit of her mother’s appearance present. They are outlined by a thick black line which makes them appear deeper and slightly mysterious.
PERSONALITY// BRAVE// Mallowbreeze is not afraid to put herself out there to protect her clan and her family. She cares a lot about those around her and would happily do anything to protect them without hesitation. She is also not afraid of experimenting or trying out new things. She would quite happily be first to try out a new battle move in the middle of a serious fight or to take a chance on an unusual but tactful battle plan. So if you think you can scare her then you have the wrong girl because she doesn’t feel fear easily.
INSECURE// Despite her generally brave personality she can sometimes have doubts about herself. For her doubting doesn’t mean that she is scared or fearful that she will fail in battle. It is the fear that she isn’t good enough for her clan and she is constantly comparing herself to others and over thinking each step she takes. She worries about what others think of her because perhaps they think of her as foolish for being so brave so when you want to make her scared you have to dig deeper or make a comment about her falling behind because that’s what will really get to her and gradually tear her down starting from the inside until she finally snaps.
OUTGOING// It doesn’t really matter who you are or where you come from, Mallowbreeze will quite openly approach you with a friendly curiosity. She is happy to hear about the world from others points of view, although some seem to think this may lead her astray from her duties. She has no intention of turning her back on Vertigoclan, she just wants to know more and will happily talk to anyone until they show unkindness towards her in which case she will back off.
SELFLESS// She would much rather run around doing duties for other warriors before doing her own. She likes to make sure everything gets done and even gets herself stressed out about things that aren’t her problem on the odd occasion. If you asked her to jump she would ask you how high and if you asked her to go hunting she would ask you specifically what for. Although sometimes this can lead to others taking advantage of her.
EXPERIENCE// Mallowkit was born along with several other siblings, four to be exact. A litter of five is uncommon for clan cats and so their birth brought a lot of happiness to Vertigoclan despite their fathers obnoxious attitude. Emeraldfire, her father, had never been the most popular cat around camp but her mother, Radianteclipse, had chosen to take him as her mate so she must have seen something in him. However, Radianteclipse had been wrong to choose him as her mate in the end as it wasn't long before he left his five kits for a life of solitude and hatred. By the time she and her four siblings: Reflectedkit, Veiledkit, Regalkit and Runekit, were made apprentices he was long gone so their mother had a bit of a hard time raising them all but she made a good job of it despite their fathers absence.
Mallowpaw trained with an older female called Darkclaw who was one of the more experienced warriors in the clan but a very short while after her training was completed the grey female retired to the elders den as she felt it was her time but the newly named Mallowbreeze always had a lot of respect for her and often will still go to her former mentor for advice. Even if her muscles weren’t what they once were she is still wise and made Mallowbreeze into a skilled but compassionate warrior.
