wait, there's no mountain too great, hear the words and have faith A pale striped she-cat expressed a somewhat muffled meow as she felt herself coming around from her deep sleep. The sounds of paws tapping the frost-covered clearing of camp became louder as she returned to her conscious state. Still being one of the younger warrior she was near the outer edge of the huddle of sleeping cat and only had to tip-toe her way past a couple of warriors before leaving the den. At least she had moved to the warriors den in new leaf when it wasn’t so cold and she felt a little sympathy for the new warriors who had to sleep through the draft of cool air filtering into the den all through the night. Pausing at the entrance to the warriors den she glanced around camp before leaving to see who was already awake. There were a few cats in camp already as it was just approaching dawn and the patrols would therefore be leaving sometime soon. However, the cat she was looking forward to seeing was nowhere in sight.
It had been a while since she had spoken with her sibling, Reflectedrain, and she wanted to have a good old catch up with him. Since she was not the most observant after just waking up she had forgotten to check the warriors den before she had left for her kin. Perhaps he was guarding camp and waiting to be let off his current duty by another warrior, but in that case he would be tired and would be entitled to some rest. Then again, he could have gone out with Spellwish to spend time in private. Not knowing where he was she cleared a patch on the ground to sit on my scraping a layer of frost off it and sat there, slightly sheltered by some foliage to keep herself warm from the sharp breeze that nipped at your face and paws.
It was unusual for her not to see her brother for such a long time as they were normally rather close but he probably had other things on his mind. Those things being she-cats and getting close to the older warriors, despite his innocent face he had a little ambitious flame hidden down inside him that was occasionally evident. She could only suppose it had come from her father just as his looks had. With him off trying to impress the females it made her feel a little left out. After all, he was the strong shoulder that she leant on for support and a friendly face she was always glad to see. It began to cross her mind that maybe she should be looking into other opportunities for herself and maybe a possible future mate. There was one tom that seemed like a possibility but there was no reason for him to notice her. Also it wasn’t as though she was the best fighter or the strongest cat around so she would have to make do with maintaining clan relationships and trying her hardest. All of that seemed harder now that her mother was no longer there for her to share-tongues with.

His tabby pelt rippled as his muscles moved beneath his skin. Even in the coldest of moons, Reflectedrain remained his good ol' cuddly self, his fur growing thicker and his raggediness giving him a bit more boyish charm than usual. But alas, he was too confused for anything to progress between himself and any she-cats, for Spellwish hadn't spoken to him in ages. Not only did he miss her, he hardly even got the chance to even see her. They hadn't exchanged words since before she received her name. She had no one, and as the young warrior brought his small, bony squirrel back into the camp nestled deep within VertigoClan's tall pine trees, he found himself lost in thought as he stumbled forward toward the freshkill pile to add his meager addition to the already small gathering of nourishment.
The tom crashed into the female suddenly, dropping his catch and tripping over his paws, landing quite awkwardly onto his chest. Pulling himself up from the ground, he shook himself, a rowdy chuckle bursting from deep within his chest. Turning about, he opened his mouth to apologize when he met the beautiful green gaze of his own sister. "Mallowbreeze! I'm so sorry. You're used to me fumbling about by now though, aren't you?
[/u]" He chattered affectionately, the adoration for his pale tabby sister bubbling up within him. She was such a selfless thing, despite all of her insecurities, and she was his little sister afterall. Reflectedrain could do nothing than treat her better than anyone else in his world. Grinning at her with his toothy smile, his twinkling blue and green eyes met her green hued ones and his smile turned into a solemn, serious expression for once. " You've got mom's eyes, y'know that?[/u]" He murmured softly, looking down to her paws and then looking back up to her, turning his head a bit and squinting. " You're such a pretty thing, where's the long line of toms waiting to court you, huh?[/u]" He pondered aloud, teasing a bit like a big brother does. Leaning down and snatching his prey up with his teeth and stepping toward the freshkill pile, he looked back and called out to her, " I'll be right back![/u]" before dropping off his small piece of prey. A small frown toward the few catches with any meat on 'em and a few steps later, the boy had approached his sister once more. " So, Mallow ol' girl, how bout we head out and, y'know, just hang out for awhile? It's been ages, and you really can't tell me no, can you?[/u]" Reflectedrain blurted out, picking up a paw and lightly jabbing at the pale tabby femme with a joking expression upon his maw. p.s. reflected is so damn charming, you can't say no to him. ESPECIALLY IF YOU LOVE HIM & YOU'RE HIS SISTER. <3[/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]

wait, there's no mountain too great, hear the words and have faith From that moment on everything happened so quickly. Her vivid green gaze was fixed on a memory far away from the present when she felt a blow to her shoulder, not hard enough to be on purpose so she kept her claws tidily in their sheathes but it was still enough to leave a dull pain on her skin. Following the collision it took her a minute for her to focus on what was going on around her. Immediately she was hit with something else, Reflectedrain’s ever present enthusiasm and she had to take a moment to collect her emotions before responding. Of course she loved her brother; it just took her a moment to bring herself to the same level as he was and she could never be mad at him. ”I knew I could scent trouble from across the clearing, I should have been more alert.” She purred in response and flicked him over the ear with her tail as a playful scolding.
Upon noticing his grin die away to a moment of silence something fluttered inside her as she anticipated the next words to leave her brothers maw. He always scared her when he stopped smiling like an idiot because he was the one that she could always trust to cheer her up no matter what was going on. These moments shared between the two siblings were precious and she liked to make a point of remembering, but she would never mention that she liked them otherwise they wouldn’t be special anymore. ”I miss her eyes, I wonder if Lynxstar has spoken to her in Starclan? At least we know she will be safe there.” She responded. Even though she was speaking to her brother she was also thinking out loud, and secretly hoping that Radianteclipse would be listening to their conversation.
Just as quickly as the moment had come it had disappeared again and she put it aside for a later date when she wasn’t feeling her best. As her brother joked she looked to the side feeling herself growing a little warmer. ”You know I’m just the nice one that helps everyone out, not something special to someone. I’m sure one day there will be some clumsy tom that needs me to help him out.” She replied but the idea was not appealing to her in the slightest. She didn’t want some younger bumbling tom that needed her to help him get things correct and to remember to do his warrior duties. She wanted someone older and romantic who would protect her and treat her right. She wanted someone that she could depend on and not someone that would depend on her like most of her clan mates did. However, she felt embarrassed being a hopeless romantic and pushed it out of her mind before she made herself sad.
”Of course I can’t tell you no! Let’s go and we can talk about it.” She purred in response and got to her feet, lightly padding out of camp although she paused to check Reflectedrain was coming before heading out into the snow. Her dainty paws left little polka-dots in the snow as she walked a few fox-lengths before talking. ”Just the usual I suppose, worrying about my clan mates and trying to keep them all well fed. Although if I am being honest I am still a bit unsure of eating after the sickness even if it has gone now.” She explained, wishing she had something more exciting to tell her brother or someone to tell him about.

Oh, how he loved her. She was absolutely adorable, no matter what she did. Flicking her lightly with his tail, he purred, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Being alert wouldn't have helped, I'd have gotten to you either way, Mallow!
[/u]" He cried playfully, headbutting her lightly in the side. Reflectedrain ducked as she flicked his ear with her tail, and he frowned. " How could you do such a thing, Mallowbreeze?[/u]" His voice dark and airy, blinking off fake tears before cracking his usual smile. " Of course, you know them. They've probably started a nice little gossip circle and they're all sharing our deepest darkest secrets with each other.[/u]" Reflectedrain murmured quietly, though he knew what he said had to be true. It was as if he felt the very presence of the grey female watching over them, smiling as her children remained closed and went about with their usual antics. " Oh, you know you'll find someone before me. Or at least before I settle. That Spellwish is a crazy one, mind you, and it doesn't matter what I do.[/u]" Reflectedrain replied, shaking his head side to side. What an incredibly difficult girl she was indeed. Frowning for real for a moment, he let out a short puff of exasperated air. " Oh, yes! Talking about toms with my sister, just the sort of thing I want to talk about! I do hope you'll let me spill the beans about all my little she-cats![/u]" The tom answered, almost guffawing as he did so. He'd love doing anything with Mallow, as long as they were both happy and enjoying each other's company. Looking at her sincerely with concern as they managed their way to the exit of the camp. " There's nothing wrong with 'em now, hopefully. Pyre's taken care of it, and she wouldn't have stopped until she did.[/u]" The tom mewed loyally, knowing for a fact that almost any prey that had drank the contaminated water had either died themselves or ran off the territory. " I do suppose there's still a chance, but eh, none of us will know unless one of us catches ill again, and that'd frankly be terrible.[/u]"[/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]

wait, there's no mountain too great, hear the words and have faith Upon hearing her brother’s joke a small smile appeared on her maw, she wasn’t quite as outgoing as he was but she had grown used to his wise cracks and went along with them. It was a rare thing for the tabby tom not to be smiling and joking around. ”You couldn’t honestly not expect that, I have to remind you who is boss after all.” She responded while smirking. She knew that would wind him up a little even though realistically she knew that she wasn’t the one who took charge out of all her siblings. She was just the sweet little soft-spoken one who nobody could ever blame for anything. Then again that did tend to annoy some cats but that was their fault for always being grumpy. They should lighten up a little. That was why she allowed herself to laugh out loud at his next comment despite them reminiscing about their mother. ”Knowing her she will probably be bragging about us and still fussing over us, I couldn’t imagine her as anything else but a mother.” She replied. What she had said was perfectly true as well; she was perfectly suited to being a queen although she still carried out her warrior duties with pride. Mallowbreeze couldn’t imagine anyone not loving the smoke grey warrior.
At his next comment she smiled a little. ”She never seems to be able to settle down, although she was always very close to her mother due to what happened with Darkfog so that may have something to do with it, it’s a shame really.” She added then she remembered how her mother had once been friends with Serenewinter, then again her mother was friendly to everyone and never cold. She liked to think she was just like that. ”Maybe she will see that you can be trusted one day, I think she’s just had a hard time.” She added with a small smile. Surely Spellpaw could see that Reflectedrain was perfectly harmless, and one of the good ones. Either way he wasn’t getting out of filling her in on his love life, she wanted to know all about it and hopefully help him out since he was most likely a bit clueless in that area. ”All your she-cats? You mean you are turning into a bit of a flirt Reflectedrain?” She asked widening her pupils in an accusing, but teasing manner.
As she heard the new leaders name mentioned her ears twitched with interest. She wasn’t totally sure of how she felt about Pyrestar just yet. Although she didn’t have anything against the leader, she still wasn’t sure of her. ”What do you think of Pyrestar?” The young female asked curiously, nodding in response to what the tom said about the food.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, he rolled his eyes. "Mum would be tutting over us even when we're fifty moons old. Doesn't mean I don't love her, though!
[/color]" He chuckled, eyes gleaming at his pretty little sister. Her light coloring was perfect for her, the way she seemed to float around in his eyes. His dark coloring clashed - he was ever so bold - but it fit him. " Alright, alright, let's cut this serious talk. Whatever happens with Spell happens." He mewed, shaking his head and trying to drop the subject. " You, ma'am, worry too much~![/color]" He lightly accused of his sister, flicking her nose with the tip of his tail, his infectious grin spreading across his maw quickly. Blinking at her as she mentioned Pyrestar, he nodded. " She's a great gal, and she's one of my best pals. Doesn't seem to get on with Lilythorn very well, though. What about you?[/color]" Reflectedrain asked, his head tilting slightly to the side.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]
