Bluefire tensed as she saw Oriole nuzzle the tom. She was furious! She shot Oriole an annoyed look then cast her gaze back to Rabbit. She looked at him then looked at her paws. She was hot with embarrasment. "So, uh... walk?" she asked him. She didn't want the calico female around. She was a threat. She had only wanted to become friends with the calico and she had riled her up. "Way to treat someone who just wanted to be your friend." she thought

She saw Rabbitnose frowning at her out of the corner of her eye. She hadn't said something to offend him personally, or at least not that she knew of. And she didn't doubt anyone’s skills as hunters in her clan. But she left him to figure that out himself. She walked on a few paces after hearing Orioleflash joking with the tom, but stopped promptly and glanced over her shoulder. The two would let everything in the vicinity know of their whereabouts. The abyssinian turned around.

"Jeeze, Rabbitnose. Seems like every lady in the Clan's crazy to jump your bones." Infernochaser saw Orioleflash pressed up against Rabbitnose, much to the annoyance of Bluefire. She raised a brow questioningly but said nothing to interrupt them as she sat down and tucked her tail neatly around her paws to observe. She could see that the she-cat was having fun, but she couldn't say the same for Rabbitnose. The tom looked to her like he knew that the calico she-cat on top of him was only being 'playful', but she could see that he still wanted her to stop. The sandy she-cat tapped her tail leisurely on the earth, as if expecting their show to last a while. But she could wait as long as they could.

"Quit harassing me you ruffian!" Infernochaser pursed her lips thoughtfully as she waited for Orioleflash to finish with Rabbitnose. Her cool gaze was trained on them, but she kept quiet for the moment. As the calico retreated off of Rabbitnose, Infernochaser looked from one to the other. "Done?" she asked teasingly. She could see the embarrassment the tom felt by simply glancing at him. Not because of Orioleflash, but because of her. He obviously wasn't very happy with the display. She stood up quickly and started off again without checking that they were following. She heard Orioleflash fall into step behind her. The she-cat's antics were indeed quite funny, but the deputy couldn't let on. Rabbitnose would simply not appreciate it if she laughed at their activities. He might take it to heart even if she didn't mean it literally.

Rolling her eyes out of habit, Orioleflash smirked at her new deputy, holding back laughter. "Done? Oh, Infernochaser, when am I ever done?

[/u]" The she-cat mewed narrowing her eyes at the rest of the group of cats so that she seemed to be analyzing them, as if they were prey. Letting out a short chuckle - more of a cackle than anything - the calico eyed Bluefire carefully, enjoying each little uncomfortable step the pale tabby she-cat made. Her whiskers twitched with amusement, and she stepped back up closer to Rabbitnose. "Truce, dear? I just wanted to see what ol' Blue was going to do.[/u]" Orioleflash uttered to the tabby tom, the brother of Runningfox, winking as she finished her statement. Rolling her eyes once more at the pair of them she couldn't help but let out an exasperated cry. "Oh lighten up you two, your nerves are more high strung than Infernochaser's were after Havocstar named her deputy. Which, by the way, I bid you congratulations.[/u]" The calico continued, turning her focus to the pretty femme behind them, dipping her head with respect.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]

"StarClan above I hope so!" He cried, casting the calico a meaningful glare, though it was weak and broke quickly into a grin. He wanted to bite her ear off when she embarrassed him like that, but alas what could he do? Not a lot, she meant too much to him as a friend to be much upset by such a petty matter. "I wish you'd just cool it, you're nuts!" He told her, shaking his head and flouncing ahead slightly before falling back again, eager to run and jump and waiting eagerly on spring's approach. In reply to her request for a truce, he simply snapped playfully at her nose, making as if to bite it before wandering back to where Bluefire trotted along, seeming rather ruffled by Oriole's sudden appearance. "Walk? Why, you goose! We are walking. I mean by now it's pretty much a patrol. Might as well keep an eye for prey as long as we're out here in a group like this." The leggy tabby flicked her lightly with his tail and grinned, hoping to put her in better spirits-- he hated to see her so down.

"I....l-l... I... uh...." She was blushing and she wasn't making eye contact. "ILOVEYOU!" she blurted out. Out of embarrasment, she ran off into the woods. Tears blurred er vision and twigs whipped her face and body. She reached the lake and sat by it for a few seconds then jumped in. Swimming helped her think. "Why did I do that?" She blurted out loud. She wanted to just disappear. She got out after a wile and rid her pelt of the water and sat in a stray ray of sunshine to warm her pelt. She soon drifted off to sleep.

"Done? Oh, Infernochaser, when am I ever done?" The deputy grinned, even though she wasn't looking at Orioleflash. "StarClan above I hope so!" Her white whiskers twitched amusedly as she suppressed a smirk. Infernochaser kept walking on at her slow, leisurely pace. The grey sky was certainly not a reflection of Orioleflash's mood, nor Rabbitnose's. Even though he was scolding the she-cat for behaving like that, she could tell that he was just having a laugh with her. It was nice to see her clan-mates getting along. Or, some of them, anyway.

"Oh lighten up you two, your nerves are more high strung than Infernochaser's were after Havocstar named her deputy. Which, by the way, I bid you congratulations." The deputy cocked a brow. "Honey," she said to the slightly older she-cat as she smiled sweetly. "I don't get 'highly-strung'," she finished good-naturedly, a grin spread across her face. "But thank you for your congratulations," she said as she inclined her head in return. "Walk? Why, you goose! We are walking. I mean by now it's pretty much a patrol. Might as well keep an eye for prey as long as we're out here in a group like this." Infernochaser nodded. It was true, it was like a patrol, but unlike any patrol, they weren't likely to come across much prey what with them all caterwauling at each other.

Perhaps they should be heading back to camp. There was nothing much doing out there. They might come across some prey on their way back. She decided that she'd loop around and make her way back to camp. If they all wanted to follow or stay, it was their choice. "Right, well, I'm going to start heading back to camp. Follow or don't follow," she called back to them as she started changing her direction and picking up the pace to a slow trot.

Raising her eyebrows, Orioleflash couldn't hide the shock that replaced all other emotions upon her visage. Bluefire..loved Rabbitnose? Were they even good friends? Stifling her laughter for later, her saffron goldene yes watched the pale tabby she-cat slink off into the distance with Rabbitnose's own darker tabby form followed soon after. Closing her mouth, finally, she blinked and cast a short glance over to Infernochaser. "I am so out of here it's not even funny.

[/u]" The calico female announced, turning about and heading off in the opposite direction. Bluefire was a crazy female, and obviously crazy about Rabbitnose, but Orioleflash didn't know her well enough to judge so she took the best option and played quiet indifference, swaying her tail in goodbye at Infernochaser before leaving to travel the moors a bit more before heading home on the cold wintry day.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]
