"Shadows fall, across the land, destroying everything with one single hand.
Night passes, days too, the rose loses a thorn.
StarClan's embrace is fierce, unlike any other, innocence is ruined- from a sister to a brother.
Once bitten, twice shy, the distance is kept- but dreams change everything.
Beware, because united they stand, divided they fall. Lone cats, a scattered few, whose ancestors have committed the most horrible of crimes, are cast out of the clans. Though they are innocent themselves, their lineage traps them and holds them captive in its terrible embrace.
Though these cats are now outcasts from their former clans, they still dream of living by the warrior code. Of course, they have no wish to be loners and rogues for the rest of their lives, so a few brave cats come together and attempt to create a clan of their own. This clan has the workings of any other clan, with a leader, deputy, medicine cat, and medicine cat apprentice. If StarClan accepted the new clan, they would communicate with their heavenly ancestors.
Moons pass, and the new clan now dub themselves RoseClan. As they grow stronger, they settle themselves in a small cove by the lake. This territory was never claimed by the other clans and for good reason; the spot was almost void of prey and the only source of water was the lake. Although the moons that have passed were hard on the developing clan, most of the cats are in no better shape than the next loner, tattered and underweight. Though their situation seems hopeless, the band of cats still clung to any idea that their clan may survive. They are looking for the light in the darkness.
Then came a sign, a sign from StarClan, the message was clear; sure doom was to befall upon RoseClan if they stayed separate from their previous clans. The message was delivered to the healer by the way of dreams, dreams filled with spitting foxes, raging disease, and snarling cats from the original four clans.
Will the misfit clan be able to stand their own against these terrible dangers? Or will their will fail and their lives be thrown into constant despair? Their only hope is to appeal to the clans, to try and join their former clans. But will their clans accept them after the horrible things done by their ancestors? And would each of the cats be able to part ways after living together for moons, fighting for each other, hunting together, and foraging strong bonds between themselves?
Only StarClan knows.
