PERSONALITY//

from the beginning, spellwish had been a very harsh and bitter kind of little she-cat, and throughout the course of her life, these dark feelings only festered within her. rarely did she get along with other females, and toms often wanted little more than a game of flirting, so friendship was hard to come by. perhaps because of her quiet, solemn nature. spellwish prefers her own company above all, and quickly becomes snappy and cruel when this solitude is interrupted. however it's often impulsive-- little more than a reflex to protect herself from getting hurt or disappointed. so while she constantly scares her peers away, she's kicking herself for doing so. spellwish has a flair for the dramatic, and often becomes quite hooked on certain issues in her life, finding herself unable to forget the smallest things and in the end, blowing them out of proportion. thus it's rather tough for her to make a name for herself in the clan, when no one thinks very highly of her.
spellwish is not a particularly loyal cat, and is quite impulsive when it comes down to it. often she contemplates escaping the confines of clan life, but is frightened of the world outside-- and the temptation that lies in the paws of a certain tom is plenty enough to keep her grounded in vertigoclan. still, she can't help but feel like an outsider in her own clan, and the feeling keeps her sad and helpless. still, perhaps all that spellwish really needs is a friendship to sweep her out of her despair.

EXPERIENCE//

spellpaw's mother was abandoned by her father for another she-cat, and abyssbird was forced to raise her two kits with the help of only flamingarrow. unfortunately flamingarrow went missing and then abyssbird had to raise both she and her own litters by herself. she did fine though, while she unfortunately instilled a hatred for their father in her own kits, so they both grew quite the bitter outlook. nevertheless, they were happy enough on their own and supported one another. spellkit became spellpaw and was passed around from mentor to mentor for a while, since the mortality rate in vertigoclan has always been quite high. thus, she was used to death and loss. however, the loss of her mother was something she never wanted to face, much less witnessing abyssbird's torn-apart corpse itself. of course spellpaw was scarred by this, and retreated deep inside herself. she ran away for a while, but this was foolish of her, as the wolf on the territory posed an eminent threat. young warrior reflectedrain went after her and found her, then swaying her to return. afterward they forged a quiet sort of romance, full of worry and wishing. it fell apart when spellpaw felt neglected by him and reflectedrain didn't want to keep up with her needs but she still retains feelings for the tom. lynxstar died and pyrestar stepped up as leader, soonafter making spellpaw and her brother gloompaw warriors. however, gloompaw was ill from the sickness and was given his name on his deathbed, departing for starclan as soon as the ceremony was over.
