Islandsplash
You don't know what it's like to be outside the crowd
And you don't know what it's like, to be left out
And you don't know how it feels, to be you're best friend
On the outside looking in.
Maybe in a fresh blink of an eye, the torrents of loneliness would leave the orange she-cat's pelt, but however much she tried to think on the bright side, her mind was swept away by the sounds of laughter in a different world and scents from a far off land. Some warrior right? Can't even keep her mind on the present? Well Islandsplash was like that. She could get cleverly distracted and never understand when she does. She has dreams all the time about what she could be doing, but never gets around to doing it. Ever since her apprentice has grown up and Dreamfeather has more to do, Islandsplash feels like she did when she was a 'paw. She feels left out and lonely. Not like the perky, trolly self she always been. But Islandsplash tried to remain optimistic. Padding restlessly around the camp, Islandsplash kept a well aware eye out for Dreamfeather, though she never showed. Shrugging, Islandsplash slithered over to the fresh-kill pile and rummaged through it before picking up a piece for herself. She glanced around TempestClan camp and spotted an orange pelt, much like her own. She blinked when she recognized Flamestripe. She had never really spoken to her clanmate, but now was a good time she mused.
Padding over with a full mouth, Islandsplash sat down next to him. "Mind if I join you?"[/color] she paused and sat her prey down before tucking her paws underneath her and gazing at him with her brilliant blue eyes. Awkwardly, Islandsplash wrapped her fluffy orange tail around herself and blinked at him, awaiting a response.
