°°Hallowstar If today was your last day And tomorrow was too late, Could you say good-bye to yesterday?“Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Peak for a Clan meeting!” the words rang around the CelestialClan camp. It was a big day for four apprentices. The great Siamese leader gazed down onto his Clan with a cool, but warm blue gaze. Hallowstar had seen warrior ceremonies time and time again, but he had never truly done one himself. He flicked his tail for the four apprentices to move forward. All of them had fought in the battle against TempestClan and had fought with real courage. It was then that he decided they should be having a ceremony of their own. Letting his gaze travel up to Silverpelt he let out a soft purr. The apprentices, Glenpaw, Crystalpaw, Rosepaw, and Shockpaw sat below him. His voice rang out clear against the hushed clan, “I, Hallowstar, leader of CelestialClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn.” Hallowstar gazed down at the apprentices and twitched his left ear. “Crystalpaw, Glenpaw, Rosepaw, Shockpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your lives?” he asked them with a stern gaze. Would these apprentices feel the same fire he felt when he was a first made a warrior? ---------------------- Glenpaw And I don’t want the world to see me Cause I don’t think that they’d understand When everything’s meant to be broken I just want you to know who I am. Glenpaw gazed up as his leader called them, meaning the apprentices, forward. Glenpaw stood in between Rosepaw, her cream pelt shined in the pale moonlight, and Crystalpaw, her eyes focused and anticipating the ceremony. Rosepaw had become one of his best friends along with Rowanpaw who would not be taking place in the ceremony. He was younger than Glenpaw, but all the same they were quite great of friends. Crystalpaw had helped him become the cat he was born and destined to be. She helped him overcome Ivypaw’s death that wasn’t really his fault and she’d been his friend when no other would. She was very important to him. Along with the three of them was the last apprentice, Shockpaw. He didn’t like her much, but he hardly knew her. All the same, it didn’t matter to him, he’d be made a warrior. When his leader beckoned them forward, he suppressed a chill of excitement as the great Siamese said the words before StarClan to become a warrior. The charcoal tom looked at Rosepaw and Crystalpaw through the corners of his eyes and purred quiet so that only the two she-cats could hear him. He had changed a lot from when he had begun his apprenticeship. He had matured a lot since then. When Hallowstar looked down onto them he cleared his throat and spoke, ”I do,” clearly and with feeling. It was his time, time to shine.

Crystalpaw stood beside Glenpaw as Hallowstar called out to them. It was her warrior ceremony. She had never really thought too hard about what it would mean, what being a warrior really meant, but she knew that this was a big step in many a clan cats' life, so she should be proud to be where she was. Crystalpaw wasn't a great believer in Starclan herself, she had missed out on the many stories of them as a kit. She had been born to loners, or perhaps they could be called rogues. But she had come a long way and Starclan was just one of the many things she had grown accustomed to. Her believe wasn't strong but she respected those who did have faith in them. Maybe sometime in her warrior life she would come to have faith in Starclan. Even now, she knew that there must be some truth behind it. Something of it was real and maybe it was even for her when she wasn't truly of clan blood. But she had come a long way since being made an apprentice under the pity of Cometstar. The entire clan had come a long way. Now though, the Warrior Code was less and less important to some clans, but she was obliged to follow it and protect the clan with her life. She was part of the clan now. She was one of them.
The tabby-point cream she-cat looked up at Hallowstar, her eyes alight and replied to him in chorus with the other apprentices at her side. "I do," she said proudly, glancing quickly to Glenpaw at her side, she smiled. Rosepaw was on the other side of Glenpaw. Crystalpaw didn't know the other she-cat very well, but she seemed nice, and she had known her since the very start. They had gone through apprenticeship together and would go through warriorship together as well. When she thought about it, she felt like she had known her all her life, all her clan life at least. Shockpaw was the other apprentice becoming a warrior, but Crystalpaw didn't know anything about the other cat, she had barely spoken to her. But it didn't faze Crystalpaw. She was about to receive her warrior name. She looked back up at Hallowstar, waiting for him to continue.
She felt little quivers of excitement going through her. But what of Veilpaw? She was practically leaving him behind. Crystalpaw frowned briefly. Was she ready to become a warrior? Was her training complete? Was she ready for what responsibilities this ceremony would bring? Her tail flicked briefly, nervously. But she couldn't tell them all now that she wasn't ready. She couldn't say that she was nervous. But there was no reason to be nervous anyway. She didn't know what she was thinking. This was her warrior ceremony and she was going to be a full member of the clan. She had Glenpaw by her side, maybe that was all she needed.

Shockpaw
Somehow I think that everyone is out to get me...
Shockpaw glanced warily up at her leader, padding slowly forward. Her calico fur was well groomed, Falconflight had told her what would happen. She stood with her head high, embarassed by her puffy fur. The small apprentice's green eyes gazed with a brightness that flared, on, and off, making her eyes seem like emeralds being flashed with light. Shockpaw wondered what her name would be. Shockfur? Shockfluff? Shockcloud, oh she didn't know. Hopefully something that did not sting with the fact that her fur still would not lie flat, and be sleek like her peers.
The little calico glanced around herself, at the others. Everyone else has beautiful fur, and lovely faces. Why not I? What did I do to deserve such an awful appearance? Her pretty eyes slanted a bit as she turned her gaze hautily back to Hallowstar. She waved her tail around, and let out a small sigh. "I do." The words rang out, clear and true. She would do anything for her clan. Anything. She was no longer an apprentice, no. Now Shockpaw was becoming a warrior, and she would serve CelestialClan for as long as she lived.
Somehow I think that everyone is out to get me...

Her feet carried her at a leisurely pace to the Peak, her thoughts in a bit of a haze as she had just woken from a nice nap. Looking up at her leader with her silvery periwinkle eyes, his warm solemnity suddenly rising her from her sleepiness. Rosepaw's heart skipped a bit. Now? Her silent question was answered as he motioned herself and the other apprentices forward. Taking a short gulp of air, she ignored how mussed up her fur was from napping. Sitting down in the row of apprentices that was now forming, she felt pride glow within her, glancing quickly at Glenpaw to her right and Crystalpaw to her left. The words Hallowstar spoke were enough to send the chill of excitement through her, the adrenaline rushing in her veins. She trembled.
"I, Hallowstar, leader of CelestialClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn."
"Crystalpaw, Glenpaw, Rosepaw, Shockpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your lives?"
Glenpaw spoke first, his voice certain and ready as he made his pledge. Rosepaw smiled up at their leader. Then Crystalpaw and Shockpaw. She was last of the few of them, but she didn't mind. Her smile was bright and clear and pretty and the excitement shone in her eyes. "I-... I do.
" She answered, her stomach filled to the brim with butterflies. What would her name be? Would it be pretty? Would she like it? How different would life as a Warrior really be? She stifled her thoughts, the last apprentice to make her pledge, and sat ready for Hallowstar to continue the ceremony.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

WELL, EVERYTHING YOU EVER SAID TO ME, IT WASN'T JUST WORDS, NO "And Veilpaw, I want you to cheer just as loudly as anyone else, if not more so!" With her last rather chiding remark, Fatesong hurried out of the apprentice den. Tonight, she knew, four of the Celestialclan apprentices would become warriors. It was long past time, too! One was her own apprentice, Crystalpaw; the others, Rosepaw, Glenpaw, and Shockpaw, she didn't know nearly as well. She had heard about camp things about her own son- Veilpaw- and Glenpaw, a rather childish, harsh tom- fighting, but never known them to be true or false. Even so, she was glad to see them all being made warriors, and didn't wish to be late to the ceremony. As it was, her lecturing of the large gray tom-cat, Veilpaw, had upheld the two of them. Every day he becomes more and more like his father! The black she-cat thought irritably, swinging her head back to see her son following her with gleaming, unreadable yellow eyes. It was true, as the moons passed he was indeed growing to be quite bulky and coarse, much like his rogue father. He had many of the same traits, as well; a warm, but rough sense of humor, and an attitude that was generally laid back. Still, when a cat made enemies with him, as, apparently, Glenpaw had- he wasn't afraid to fight back with tooth and claw. Fatesong worried about him at times.
Settling, late, among the rest of the warriors, she gazed up at Hallowstar, standing before all of them, and a smile flitted nervously to her features. Despite her concerns over Veilpaw, and her need to be accepted in the clan, she felt reassured when she gazed into the leader's blue eyes. He was her son's mentor, and... a friend. Nervously, Fatesong thought she caught his eyes with her own yellow orbs- and she looked away, quickly licking her sable and white chest fur in mild embarrassment. Deciding it better not to pay attention to Hallowstar until the ceremony began, Fatesong glanced left and right. At her right, her son, nearly as tall as her already with an unruffled appearance, stood and gazed at the four apprentices to be warriors. Looking to her left, the slim female saw Hawkfang, a much older, stoic tabby with a broad grin on his face. He was the mentor of her other son, Rowanpaw- but she guessed he had just as much pride as any cat to see more warriors joining the den. Suddenly, Fatesong pricked her ears as Hallowstar began to speak, calling the apprentices forward. The cats in the clearing grew silent, apprehensively waiting. She watched, eyes alert, as each stepped forward in turn.

°°Hallowstar If today was your last day And tomorrow was too late, Could you say good-bye to yesterday?Blinking down at the apprentices, Hallowstar showed a warmth of encouragement to all of them. He remembered very well what it was like to gain everything you wished for, waiting beneath the Peak for your new name. He loved his experience. He had thought hard and long about their names, hopefully they liked them as much as he did. Clearing his throat, the Siamese spoke once more, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names: Crystalpaw, from this moment you will be known as Crystalbreeze. StarClan honors your faith and encouragement and we welcome you as a full warrior of CelestialClan." Hallowstar leaped down, stepped forward and rested his muzzle on the top of Crystalbreeze's bowed head. He felt her cool tongue against his shoulder and backed away from her, giving her a short nod of encouragement at her fine training. Of course, he favored her training because Fatesong had done well with her. Looking up for a second, he met the black she-cat's eyes and felt his own excitement twinkling into hers. Blinking, he stepped back and called out again, "Glenpaw, from this moment you will be known as Glenshade. StarClan honors your strength and courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of CelestialClan." Stepping forward again, trying to remain like a leader, he let Glenshade lick his shoulder before he backed away once again. He was surprised how nervous he felt. He was the leader after all, but this was the first warrior ceremony he had done since he became leader. He was just a little nervous, afraid something would go wrong. Clearing his throat again, but flicking his tail to Glenshade's shoulder, he walked to stand in front of Rosepaw. "Rosepaw, from this moment you will be known as Roseblush. StarClan honors your faith and your encouragement and we welcome you as a full warrior of CelestialClan." Bending down, he felt her tongue to his shoulder and he dipped his head at her before standing in front of Shockpaw. The last of the apprentices to receive her name. Blinking fondly at the apprentice, Hallowstar spoke the last of the naming ceremony, "Shockpaw, from this moment you will be known as Shockflare. StarClan honors your patience and your pride and we welcome you as a full warrior of CelestialClan." He bent down to let her lick his shoulder before backing up. These were no longer apprentices, no, now they were warriors of CelestialClan ready to face the world. He let the Clan call out to the new warriors by their own name. He let his own happiness shine in his eyes without saying anything. Raising his tail, he calmed his Clan down. "It's almost moonhigh now," Hallowstar remarked, "In the tradition of CelestialClan, you four will sit vigil until dawn and guard the camp while the rest of us sleep." Purring, he let the meeting stop before he backed away from the Peak and towards Fatesong. Sitting down beside her, he let the newly made warriors express their excitement amongst the Clan. "How'd I do?" he asked Fatesong without meeting her sweet gaze. ---- Glenpawshade And I don't want the world to see me Cause I don't think that they'd understand When everything's meant to be broken I just want you to know who I am. Blinking up in this nervous excitement feeling, Glenpaw shivered as he awaited for the names of the new warriors. Glenpaw listened as Crystalpaw became Crystalbreeze. He purred loud enough for her to hear him, flashing her a proud glance. Then it was his turn, he waited till his leader came up to him, he licked his should respectively. Glenshade! Glenshade let out a loud purr rumble through his throat. He was honored for his strength and his courage! All the things he held so dearly about himself. It excited him so much that he almost missed Rosepaw's new name. Roseblush, a good name for her. He flicked her shoulder with his tail as Hallowstar moved on. Finally was Shockpaw. He didn't know her very much, in fact she was probably the most unknown of all the apprentices due to her kittypet roots. Normally he would frown upon her, but this was a great day in their history. He'd spare her snide comments. For now. Shockpaw became Shockflare however. Shockflare fit her well he supposed, but now turning away from Hallowstar he grinned to see his Clan call out his name to him. He himself called out some names too. "Crystalbreeze! Roseblush!" he joined the crowd willingly. Looking up at Silverpelt, he wondered if Copperclaw was watching him, his former mentor. Or maybe Ivypaw, his sister. Or perhaps even his former mother and father. Or if their dead spirits even reached to StarClan. Glancing back into CelestialClan, he nodded to Bearclaw, his mentor, in respect. No, his friend. Bearclaw had taught him well and he had actually gotten along with him. He no longer felt like an apprentice nor a kit, but a warrior worth mentioning. How did the others feel?
