soz, i wrote this poem for a friend who got taken advantage of i don't know if it makes sense or not but it needs a name so, help, plox. <3
she could hear their voicees
harsh but empty
like the sound of shattering glass
echoing off stone walls
there was blood on the floor
and surely yet to be more
for the essence of her love
was bound to his stake
the feelings were mutual
or so they said
but even then she knew
he only loved her in bed
her life was like a snowflake
always spinning around
waiting for something
perhaps to hit the ground
or maybe it was heartbrake
it had become a usual sound
melodies in shards
lay at her feet
spread out like a mural
for all to see
the sparkle of glass
and the gleam of a knife
shattered the mirror
just as before
now she sleeps
with shoes on her feet
waiting for the beat
of a lovers call
he dances in the rain
holding his own vain
twirling and swirling
like feet on a ballroom floor
he took her for granted
and now she's gone
a note in her absence
tattered and torn.
