•:|Firelily|:•I've been roaming around Always looking down at all I see You know that I could use someone Someone like youFirelily padded out of camp and into the territory, to get out of the camp for just a bit, her plumed tail swishing. She glanced up at the moon, her pale yellow eyes reflecting the great orbs own yellow light. The black-striped warrior looked around her homes territory, oddly apprehensive. Her whiskers trembled, and her ears laid back flat against her head. It was different at night. Quiet, dark, perhaps even a little bit morbid-feeling. Firelily tossed her head, flipping the tuft of hair out of her lily-like face. The pretty ginger tabby laid down, and rolled onto her back, staring up at the glittering, starry sky. Her white back legs unconciously crosses themselves, as did her front paws. She looked an oddity laying there. Firelily already appeared exotic, but as of now she seemed even stranger. A bat suddenly zoomed across the sky, making her stir. Bats... what pupose do thy serve but to sit around during the day then screech all night?! The she-cats pale gaze searched the sky. Answers were the only thing Firelily wanted. She wished to be able to fly up to the sky. Up to the place where her parents supposedly lived. Firelily felt so alone, trapped inside herself. A riddle inside of a puzzle inside of a mystery. But being nothing couldn't be so bad, could it? Keep telling yourself that, Firelily. Live inside false confidence, feigned happiness, inside fake contendedness. Just become the shell of yourself. So the real you dies. The pretty, bright ginger tabby shook her head. She musn't think such things, or she may well start believing them. Her pale yellow eyes glittered as her throat contracted as though to ward off a sob. But her eyes were not filling with tears, no. But then why had she gotten that lump in her throat. The black-striped warrior rolled off of her back and onto her side. She did not care a stone was jabbing her. She welcomed the pain, for it took her mind off of things. Her tail flicked around. While it was very early mornng and she had not slept yet, Firelily did not feel tired. More lonely. In need of a friendly face, and a living creature to speak to. A strange scent hit her scent glands, and she leapt up to face whoever was trespassing onto CelestialClan territory. " Show yourself, trespasser!!" Tagged: Wolfwind Word count: 393 OOC: 393 words!!! A record for me, I'm so new at this style of roleplayng!! -.- I hope this thread gets posted on!!!!

Lincoln It was fun, while it lasted.Rustling about in the unidentifiable territory, the handsome grey tabby trotted down the ferns, forgetting that for the slightest minute, he was no longer in a world of his own. Ignoring the prickly feel of the forest, he kept pushing forward, eager to find something new than the run-down Trenton. Even though he lived there and was born there, Trenton wasn't his favorite place in the world. Sure, he had met some "friends" along the way. Loon, for example, was a great friend to him for just meeting him in the Two-leg place. Of course, the tom was excited and full of energy, but the tabby still liked his company. Then he had to be involved with a pathetic she-cat. She was young, like Loon, and rather oblivious. Her name? Well, the tabby tom thought long and hard before he could remember, ah yes, Clear. What an odd name. And he even had to let her know his name. He was so used to telling she-cats his name, only to let them forget who he was by using them and losing them. It was a "hit" or "miss" with any she-cat. But c'mon, it was fun while it lasted. 'My name is Lincoln.' He had said in the most disdainful voice he could manage to a low life slum. Lincoln didn't like she-cats, he only liked to use them. Persuade them, if you will. Toms, he was cool with. They were friends, she-cats had too much analyze not enough quiet. How obnoxious. Slowly, but with a dignified air, Lincoln walked through the odd tasting territory that he was in now. It smelled and tasted like prissy and pride. Not really his thing. However, why turn back now? He had already walked so far, he wasn't about to turn around just because it smelled weird. He had been through all sorts of skanky scents. One of his least favorite scents is the smell of Two-legs in his part of the alley back home in Jackson. They stood back there, leaning against the walls that protected him from the rain and the sun, and they held white sticks to their mouths, leaving a trail of grey smoke when they exhaled. The fumes they released almost killed his lungs when he had to inhale the acid. He quivered when he thought of the scent. Lincoln began to hear a muffled stomping through the forest however and he pricked his ears to catch where the sound was coming from. It was bigger than a mouse, much bigger than a rabbit, and maybe a little bigger around the paws than a fox. At last, Lincoln wafted the scent into his mouth and recalled a cat on the other side of the ferns. Great... Lincoln relaxed his walking position and sat down calmly. But from the scent, he believed it to be a she-cat. Even better. Lincoln thought sarcastically. Suddenly the cat spoke, "Show yourself, trespasser!" Lincoln rolled his yellow orbs. Amateur. He flicked his brown tail and stared in the direction. "Why don't you just come over here? I can hear you, scent you, and I shouldn't have to move for you. Plus you already know I'm here, moron." Lincoln wasn't going to be friendly, this low-life could count on that.

•:|Firelily|:•These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot eraseFirelily took a few steps back at the rude voice of the loner. Her ears flicked back in annoyance as she padded forward, the moon glinting off her white hind legs. She caught sight of the arrogant tom, and hissed. Handsome, yes, but he had the most bull headed air about him. " You seem to have decided you are more clever than I, by stating I am of moronic status. I can assure you, we cannot establish that just yet." The black-striped ginger tabby allowed her yellows eyes meet the toms disdainful glare. She blinked her white-lined eyes, studying Lincoln intently. He had soft fur, she noted, and did not seem to be scarred. Interesting... with his attitude I would have thought he would be laced with scarring. Her gaze still scrutinized Lincoln. She tilted her her head. " As of now I can only think to ask why you are here." The exotic warrior stepped into a pool of moonlight, lighting up her fiery pelt. Firelily shook herself, making her fur shimmer. Her lily-like face was covered in a wave of disapproval. She thought he looked familiar, but she had likely seen him many times invading territory. Loners were quite annoying like that, and now she was faced with one that had an awful personality, it seemed. The bright ginger tabby bristled at the thought of how sharply he had spoken to her. I wonder why he is here... I am sure it is not just to say scathing words to me. Firelily scented the tom again, trying to figure out where he came from. But she could not find anything that would give her an idea " Odd..." Her pale yellow eyes flicked the star strewn sky, then quickly back to Lincoln. For a second it seemed she had very quickly forgotten he was there, then she recovered. She twitched her black plume, and proceded to knead the ground. He was already one of her least favorite cats. Just the way he stood there, like he owned the world, was a contributing factor to this. Firelily slid out of the pool of light, toning down the torch of light that was her fur. She still had her eyes on the silver tabby tom, but instead of seeming infatuated with his look, her eyes held a more half interested, half reproachful look in them, Her white front paws glowed more so than her bright ginger, black striped pelt. The exotic-looking she cat tossed her head, to get out of her eyes the tuft of hair that kept falling into them. Tagged: Wolfwind Word count: 429 OOC: Even more words than last time~ I'm learning

Lincoln It was fun, while it lasted.Lincoln rolled his eyes when a fluffy she-cat stormed out of the ferns. When he saw her coat in the darkness, he instantly thought "What the hell is wrong with her pelt? He flicked his tail in disdain however and sat watching her with the calmest expression. Maybe luring her wouldn't be too hard. She looked soft. Like a kittypet. What an insult at that. The sport was at his best. Then the rat began speaking. Something about cleverness and her getting mad about him calling her a moron. Perfect. She was so easy. But she was also curious, that just wouldn't do. Let's see how bloody curious she gets. Lincoln thought to himself. "If you're so clever, you'd know why I was here." He twitched his whiskers at this moronic cat. She really didn't know what was hitting her. He was slowly, but surely digging his claws in her heart. Soon, she'd be all his. No tom dared mess with Lincoln in Trenton and Jackson, but no she-cat could resist. Only young ones, such as Clear. Anyways, back to this warrior. If that's what he could call her. She was too curious, which he enjoyed of course. So this could be fun, while it lasted. Lincoln still sat there until the she-cat stepped out into the moonlight. It was like Lincoln wanted to laugh out really loud, but that would be wrong wouldn't it. Instead he only snickered under his breath. She was so weird looking. She had almost like a tabby pelt, but she had black stripes down her body. But the moon enlightened her to the maximum point. She looked like an idiot. Well actually, she almost looked like the walls back in Jackson when the Two-legs sprayed their colorful scents all over them creating new pictures. He couldn't remember what they had always called them, but it started with a "gr" sound. He shook his head and tried to hold back his laughter. Lincoln twitched his ear when the she-cat said "Odd" under her breath. If she was poking around about what he looked like, fine, but she didn't have to be such a-a prick about it. Lincoln let her mind wander, what did she want from him? He could have told any of the she-cats back in Trenton and Jackson what he wanted from her, from them. Anyways, why do you talk weird? Is it to match your weird pelt? Or to try to be different, because listen 'sweetheart', there isn't anything different about you." He hissed out the word you at the end, but other than that, he spoke to her the way he normally would to any she-cat. If this were a tom, he'd be a little more friendly, a little more well-mannered, and a little more poised. Why should he waste his energy for a female? Her wavered face was all for disapproval. Good. Everything would go as planned. Wait, he had a plan? Lincoln laughed at himself, he had no plan, not one anyone else could figure out before he did, that's for sure. However, he could already sense that this she-cat couldn't stop staring at him. She wanted to know, she wanted to ease her curiosity, he could do all that and more for her. He could do everything for her. Not because it was the right thing to do, but because she wanted it to be so. He could tell. He liked this territory already. Perhaps he'd stay her....a little bit longer....while it lasted.

•:|Firelily|:•I'm going under Drowning in you I'm falling forever I've got to break through I'm going underThe she cat bristled, his attitude grating on her nerves. She was not psychic, how the heck could she know what he wanted. The mouse brained tom acted so pompous, so idiotic, she could barely stop a snigger, much less a laugh. If he thought she looked odd, fine. Why should she care about any other opinions of his. She only wanted to know why he was invading CelestialClan territory. Firelily turned her now blazing eyes toward the camp. A thought dawned on her." You want to join CelestialClan?" She stood for a second, then hearing his comment on her appearance and way of speaking. " I speak in the way that comes naturally to me, though it may vary from how most others speak. And I cannot help how I appear" Her bright fur sparckled as she began slowly circling the tom, analyzing how she should retaliate, if he attacked. He did not seem to be friendly at all, and that made Firelily wary of his motives. The black and ginger warrior unsheathed her sharp claws slightly, to show him she was ready for any hostile moves. " What is your name, loner." She saw his scheming gold eyes, and snorted at how silly such a kittypet like tom looked with that expression plastered on his face. Trying to look devious, perhaps. Whatever the loner wanted, the exotic looking she cat knew she would have to be careful of him. Her yellow gaze again met the toms as she came back around. Stopping, Firelily had a sudden urge to ask him his name. " What am I to call you, tom." She gestured with her tail towards herself. " I am Firelily, warrior of CelestialClan." Studying him still more, the warrior noted similarities between them. Both were tabbies, both had yellow/gold eyes, both had pure white back legs. A very strange coincidence, indeed. Firelily began slowly rocking back and forth, impatiently awaiting answers to her questions. If this tom is going to trespass, he had better have an acceptable reason. Her patience was wearing thin for the silver tabby. If he did not provide answers, she would raise an alarm. The ginger tabby kept her claws unsheathed a bit as she turned her eyes away from him, her muscles were taut, and her senses were very alert. One wrong move... Her gaze again searched the heavens. While the loner was handsome, and she felt a small tug in her heart, something kept her held back. He seemed like he could be danger, no matter how soft his pelt was. Even if the tom did join CelestialClan, Firelily would not trust him too much. A wary eye would be kept on him. The black striped, ginger she cat wondered what Hallowstar would say. Another clanless cat joining. Her leader already seemed fond of Fatesong, and Shockpaw was doing alright, but what would he make of the silver tabby in front of her. The tom had already proved to be insolent and mouse brained. Annoyingly pompous, as well. Or was that to be expected from silly loners. Tagged: Wolfwind Word count: 892 OOC: 892 WORDS!!! YUS!!! Lincoln It was fun, while it lasted. Hissing under his breath at the stupid female, Lincoln sat down and breathed in her horrid scent. Mockingly, he coughed out in front of her, pretending to be thoroughly disgusted by her. Maybe she'd be nice underneath, but she was just a she-cat. She was nothing to Lincoln. Nothing important anyways. Nothing to be regarded. Whatever the case, Lincoln curled his handsome tail over his white paws. Expressing her name, Lincoln only blinked. Whatever did this she-cat mean "what am I to call you"? It was like she lived in a different time. Not that he cared of course. He needed a she-cat he could use. Not one like her. "A name means something to you? Wow, and I thought only words meant a thing to your small heart. Oh wait, do you have feelings? Oh yeah, of course you do, you're a she-cat. All she-cats have feelings. Too many feelings." Lincoln mocked the odd she-cat who called herself Firelily. Whoever she was, she was inferior to Lincoln. Plus this cat in the night, especially in the moonlight, was ugly and very disturbing. Unlike himself of course, Lincoln was one of the most handsomest cats you could meet. But even she, this tramp, wouldn't know that. He supposed she scared away all of the toms away from her before they have a chance to get a word into her conversation. He shrugged though, "Whatever, you'll probably still ask me if I don't speak up. My name is Lincoln." Could she even see him? Standing up, he walked exactly towards her and into the shining moonlight that hung overhead. His pelt rippling, he let out a coy smile and then sat back down right in the moon's ray. Hopefully this Firelily would discover her own opinion on Lincoln. It wasn't like him not to have enemies. He always did, but he never really had friends either. Loon was the only cat to come close. Not that he cared. He led she-cats on, it was what he did, and it was fun...while it lasted. But he wouldn't lie, he believed that there really was love, he just never saw anyone experience it. He didn't know if he could experience it either, but that was the point of moving out of Jackson, back home to Trenton, and into the forest. He wanted a different life. Flicking his ear he spoke once again, "I'd like to see where you live, what was your name again...uh....Fire frenzy, Oddpelt, somebody.....uhm....Firelily. That's it. Firelily. Won't you take me to your pack? Or does your courtesy even allow that?" He would lie that he knew what he was talking about. Did cats live in packs? Or camps? Or herds? He had no idea. It wasn't his area of expertise, but there's always a time to learn. And he intended to discover a different life. Even if this nobody helped or not.

FirelilyOn the ground I lay Motionless in pain I can see my life flashing before my eyes Dead I fall asleep Is this all a dream Wake me up, I'm living a nightmareFirelily huffed at the tom. He thought he was so great. Her exotic pelt flashed again as she stepped back, when he padded forward. The black striped warrior had to admit he was handsome. Hearing his name she silently chuckled. "Lincoln? What an odd name for a cat. By the way, if need be I will scratch my name into your pelt so you can remember." She wasn't used to making threats, but this tom was getting on her nerves. "Come, I will take you to my C;an. I live in CelestialClan, the most beautiful of the land." Firelily padded toward the camp. FALCONflightCelestialClans deputy padded quietly out into the middle of the camp, his grey pelt turned a dynamic silver by the moon. He yawned and glanced around. Odd. He thought he had heard Firelily leave the warriors den, but he could not see her. She muist have gone wandering again. Falconflight shrugged, and sat by the frshkill pile. The big tom began grooming himself, glancing up when the gingery she cat padded into the camp. He glanced at Lincoln. "What might your name be?" The deputy saw Firelily about to answer, and waved his tail, silently telling her to hold her tongue. OOc: Sorry so lazy, in school! And WTF Firelily...?

Lincoln It was fun, while it lasted.
Lincoln rolled his eyes, aggravation building up under his handsome grey pelt. This pest was certainly annoying as she brought him through the forest. She tried to look like she was the leader of this forgotten place, but she was nothing. In fact, hell could snag her up in a second and no one would know she was gone. She was scrawny and didn't belong in the world. Whatever. He was tired of playing games. He needed to hit the wood. In his case, sleep. Oh and look, she was brining him right to her pack. Did other morons live here with her? Or other flea-bags? She was dead to him, this Firelily. Or if she was so invigorating, maybe he'd set her straight. Or have her running away, tail between her legs. Like a worthless pup. Wolves were better company than cats were for sure. In fact, dogs were a nice company. They didn't bother you and whenever he'd want to take his anger out, a dog was perfect for that. The dogs he'd seen were friendly enough to claw in the muzzle a couple of times or two. This Firelily, if he clawed her in the face, she'd probably fight back. Not that that was a problem, of course not. It was just, what fun would it be if she fought back? Stupid fun. It wouldn't even be fun...it'd just be weird. Whatever man, he'd kill her if he could. That would give him such sweet satisfaction.
Apparently they had walked right into their pack and before he knew it he was face to face with a large grey tom. Oh joy. Oddball's got a friend. He blinked away his sweet visions of death and faced the tom. Finally the cat spoke to him, asking for his name. Apparently he held some high position because Paint head did everything he motioned for her to do. Wonder if they did anything fun...while it lasted. He snickered in his head before looking at this grey cat. He certainly wasn't as handsome as Lincoln. Well if he thought he could order Lincoln around then he was a dumb-ass. Lincoln's language was far from pure, but when he got grumpy and tired, anything could slip out of his mouth. "My name? Can't your she-cat tell you all about me? She had a nice ol' meeting in the woods tonight. Or are you oh so wise you don't need her. Or better yet, I bet you can read minds, can't you?" Lincoln said in his sarcastic voice again, mocking the "power" of this tom. Blinking his yellow eyes tiredly, Lincoln didn't move his ground. He raised his head higher to prove he wasn't to be messed with. "What about you? What's your name? Greyfur?" The demented she-cat had a weird name, so did this tom he suspected.
