obviously that's in honor of our american members (myself including) who celebrate thanksgiving today! if you haven't already, let's take a moment to give thanks for something in your life!

anyway I hope those of you who celebrate it had a great holiday!(hopefully those of you who don't had a pleasant day just the same)

that put aside, I'd like to go ahead and make some updates known!

firstly, the sickness plot is done. not finished, but done. you may still be roleplaying your cats with sniffles and such, but remember that the plot-related sickness is no longer relevant. as always, keeping a side-wide plot going is just too hard.maybe we'll try again sometime but for now, we'll simply continue with our various miniplots and inter-clan conflicts.

and, to continue with that idea, we'll be having a timeskip soon! this means that as soon as all current threads are finished (or a few posts away from being finished) then the roleplay will be moving ahead a few moons. to be exact, we'll be jumping two and a half moons ahead to winter. snow will be heavy, thick, and obnoxious as ever. spring will still be a good moon or so away from even being thought about, so cats will be struggling with the weather as with every leaf-bare, so be prepared for those struggles!

the timeskip will be skipping a few events to be aware of:
first, it will skip the battle between celestialclan and tempestclan. if you were unaware, hailghost of tc murdered jaspersun of cc. obviously hallowstar had little choice but to seek vengeance for a young life taken without cause. however, the battle is too large-scale for roleplay as it is virtually every able warrior against every able warrior so, for reference, there was no clear winner. however, celestialclan had enough force and anger to power a spite-fueled battle in which (though he would never admit it) voidstar witnessed celestialclan's true ability, and hallowstar and his warriors, while they continue to grieve, feel satisfied with their attack.

we will also be skipping the disappearance of ripplesurf, zephyrclan's former deputy. as he came down with the sickness, he disappeared to die by himself (as feral cats have been known to do). however, his condition took an unexpected turn and he recovered to return to his clan. how the clan reacts if left to be known, though, and ripplesurf's reaction to his best friend replacing him as well.

in vertigoclan, the deputy lilythorn continues to feel cheated and upset with pyrestar taking her leadership position, thus starts the mutiny. lilythorn begins a motion to take back the clan, and everycat must choose for themselves. lilythorn - the rightful leader of vertigoclan, or pyrestar - the female who claims to have received her lives already, claims to have been chosen by lynxstar before her death, and claims to reshape and revive vertigoclan from the ghost it has become. will vertigoclan believe these claims, or will they reclaim their intended hierarchy?
lilythorn will have begun her quiet disruption during the timeskip, and as we begin to roleplay a few moons from the current roleplay (post timeskip) cats will begin to be forced to choose their side, as pyrestar has finally found out about the mutiny.
