NAME// Dogstorm AGE// 37 moons GENDER// Male CLAN// Celestialclan DESIRED POSITION// Deputy SHORT DESCRIPTION// A massive cinnamon tom with gentle emerald irises.
DESCRIPTION// At an average height of just plain tall, Dogstorm is hard to miss. It doesn't help that he's got enormous ears to go with the height. They're fantastic during leafgreen, when it's extremely hot, but otherwise, they're just a reason for folks to bother him and pick on him. Dogstorm doesn't mind it, though. Generally he's very laid back about the fact that he's got bat-ears. Along with the ears, he's got beautifully round, emerald eyes. They're probably the least threatening part about him. There's rarely a time when Dogstorm looks angry. His emotions are rather clear in those orbs. His face is very thin, and small compared to his features. His fur is a handsome cinnamon-brown with small points of tan; it's very short and lies flat against his muscular body. Although this tom is really, very tall, he's not fat. In fact, he's actually very lean and could be considered lanky in some ways. But that doesn't stop him from being a good hunter and protector of the clan. It actually helps him, because it makes him much more graceful. Smaller paws help him with speed. Dogstorm earned the second part of his name because of his ability to strike quickly and disappear, like a storm does. PERSONALITY// Gentleman; Dogstorm's mother taught him that treating others as you'd like to be treated is the only way to be. Of course, his mother was also rather strict about when a kit should and shouldn't speak, so he gained a bit of knowledge on how to be charming and polite. His biggest goal, some say, is to please everyone around him. Honestly, he hasn't thought about pleasing everyone, but he does think that everyone deserves a bit of gentleness.
Caring; As strict as his mother was, she also taught him that it's care and love that make a clan strong. To him, fighting is pointless, because it doesn't get one anywhere. He doesn't share this with others, of course, because they'd think he was strange. He has always had an open heart and always roots for the underdog in a situation. If a cat is feeling down, he does what he can to make them smile. The little things, to him, count. This empathetic, charismatic part of Dogstorm makes him appealing to be friends with. Though, a lot of cats think he's a wimp because he'd rather share tongues than playfight.
Hero-syndrome; Oh, boy. This is the one thing he taught himself. Dogstorm has always seen himself as being a hero one day. He wants to be a legend. Because of this, he's always looking out for everyone in the clan, making sure the sick are taken care of and the weak are safe during an attack. Makes him feel brave.
Firm; As caring and loveable as Dogstorm is, he's firm. When he says something, generally he means for you to listen and not question his authority. This makes those who don't take him seriously think twice, because he can lose his temper. Because he's so quiet, Dogstorm's words usually mean a lot. It's rare to find him speaking freely, because he doesn't bother voicing his own opinion. He's generally too busy understanding everyone else's wants and needs. He puts others above himself. But when he does say something, he expects the listener to actually listen. It's a bit demanding, but he doesn't really care a lot.
Thoughtful; Head in the clouds? Sometimes, though he's usually deep in thought. About what, no one can really tell. When asked, he just shrugs and says, "Things." It's not quite clear what he is thinking, but you can tell it's important. If not, why would he bother thinking? EXPERIENCE// Birth && Apprenticeship; Dogstorm was born to Hazelbreath, a pretty she-cat with the same emerald gaze he has. She'd had litters before, but always ended up losing them to an assortment of things. When Dogstorm was born, she was determined to keep him safe. Dogstorm never travelled out of the Nursing den until he was nearly ready for apprenticeship. He was kept inside, to protect him from disease and wild animals. Hazelbreath didn't want to risk losing her dear son. In the days of being in the den, Dogstorm learned a lot. There were no other kits around the time he was born, which left him to the den alone, to listen to the she-cats talk. He learned a lot in those moons, which made up for the fact that he had no playmates. That's probably why he's not big into fighting, he'd rather talk it out. When Dogstorm became an apprentice, his mentor nearly drove him to leave the clan and become a rogue. Now, no one actually knows that, because he's not one to share that kind of information. Anyways, Fiercetalon, a cold-hearted warrior, trained Dogstorm rigorously. Never did he get a break. Early patrols, late patrols. It didn't matter the job, Dogstorm was volunteered for it. He grew to hate his mentor with a passion, and often wanted to use claws in their sessions.
