NAME; belial AGE; thirty-six moons GENDER; she-cat CLAN; clanless DESIRED POSITION; none SHORT DESCRIPTION;
a pretty diluted calico she-cat, with a tainted heart, and eyes of a stunning green.
DESCRIPTION;
belial is a beautiful young she-cat, her pelt a pale off-white color that shows shades of cream and grey throughout it. to accompany such a magnificent, diluted, coat coloring, she has a pair of stunning, iridescent green eyes. from the front angle, they look like a nice, mossy green, and from opposing angles you can see a bit of an amber hue buried in there. long legs, and a slim bodice allow her to maneuver through shrubbery and dodge attacks much easier. being light on her feet is a plus, but her long legs easily tangle if not thought about. she has a medium-length pelt that not only keeps her warm, but the slight thinness to it also allows her to keep from overheating. her ears are about average, so no special hearing abilities here, but on the other hand, larger ears wouldn't look right on her face, so it all evens out.
PERSONALITY;
this girl is not what you would expect when it comes to just what she's like on the inside. she's cold, cruel, and loves to be in control. a serial killer born and raised, this babe knows how to work. belial, true to her name, is rather... insane. her emotions tend to get the best of her, and she's ruled by anger most of the time. she is a very vengeful sort of she-cat, and loves chaos. she's not the nicest sort of creature in the world, and prefers death over life. however this young cat has a way of being a protector when it's needed. and while she has her own brand of insanity, it is also true that this feline has enough power, and pride in her beast, that she is not only a force to be reckoned with, but also a beast of purpose and persuasion. she knows how to get what she wants, when she wants, in any method that allows her to get it. and the thing to remember above all others, this she-cat is prepared to do anything to get what she wants, and that includes killing. the biggest reason this girl is able to survive the way she is, though, is because of her trust in those she likes, and her fierce loyalty. she knows how to be a leader, how to protect and care for those who she is close to , and she won't ever hesitate to make sure she does what is best for those she is charged with. and she will put down her own life for those she deems are important enough to her.
EXPERIENCE;
kithood July 17, six a.m: she was drowning. the foamy water was all around her; she couldn't tell up from down. the waves tore at her, thrashing her against rocks, never loosening their deadly grip. her lungs were burning, it felt like her chest would burst; lack of oxygen was raising her hysteria as she struggled, writhing blindly in the swirling vortex. her only thoughts were to find air, to breath, and to find her mother. mother would help her. where was her sweet face now, where was the warmth of her touch and the strength of her jaws? but there was nothing but murky water, now pouring into her gaping mouth, crowding her lungs as she made one last attempt to breath.
July 18, four a.m: it was nighttime again when belial woke up on the crumbled banks of a river. the rippling water lapped at her soaked and muddy pelt. she had been unconscious for ten hours, and was feeling quite miserable, her body aching with a vengeance after colliding with many rocks and branches during last night's torrent. and the first thing that registered in belial's brain, after the pain, was the sight of her mother's carcass. she blinked, but the image didn't disappear; her dear mother's body was still. she was dead, dead when she was supposed to be alive. she had drowned, her life ripped away by the river. suddenly all of the memories of her near-death experience flooded belial's mind, and she lost it right there. belial got up and ran; her bodice screamed with pain from the effort, but she didn't care. that water cost her, her family and almost her life, and every broken image imprinted itself on the young cat's brain, to never leave her again. she bolted into the trees, the stars twinkling overhead, rain starting to fall from a gloomy sky.
July 21, one p.m: three days without food. belial's stomach was sunken in, her body weary from hunger. she was only able to eat the tiny crickets that sprung from the summer grass, and that wouldn't keep her going for long. belial was a a young cat, so her bad remembrances were already shaken off, but they're always there, somewhere in the back of her mind, waiting to emerge. now, every time belial looked at water, she felt a terrible anger wash over herself. she couldn't quite tell what gripped her, but the flashbacks she saw snippets of were gruesome and terrifying, and further cemented her anger.
early adulthood [ one year later ] August 15, four p.m: her body ached, and moaned in protest as she tried to pick herself up off of the cold, metal flooring. the muscles in her body were stiff, and caused pain when she moved, indicating that she had been in here for more than a couple hours. her heart racing with the fear of not knowing exactly where she was held. belial looked around the small confinement, trying furiously to find an escape, to experience the freedom she had had for so long. and now here she was, stuck in a metal box that was taking her to who knows where. she tried to look back into what had happened before she arrived here. how she could have possibly gotten into this mess?
the last thing she could remember doing was lounging out in the sun, soaking up the rays, and just relaxing. she didn't do that often. usually, her guard was up and she was too pissy to think about having some time to herself. but today, she felt she deserved it, and parked herself on top of a fairly nice sized rock, and lounged the day away. next thing she knew, she had lost control of her body and spiraled into darkness. two-legs must have snatched her up, thinking the poor feline was an endangerment to society. I mean, she did go around hissing and batting at their offspring, and occasionally biting them to know she means business - but only when she was provoked to do so. or, it could have just been the animal control, going around and picking up feral cats to be towed away. of course, she didn't know this, and probably wouldn't for the longest time.
August 17, nine a.m: two days passed, and she was no longer in that hideous metal crate, but where she was now wasn't much better. she was still in a crate, however; this one you could see out of the front. metal bars kept her from jumping out, but gave her the comfort of knowing where she was at at all times. this didn't really matter to her, though, she hid herself in the back of the cage, her body pressed tightly against the plastic walls. two-legs moved about outside of the glistening bars almost every hour of the day, and this frightened her. anger welled up inside her whenever one dared to lower their face to her level, and peer in at her. though they were smiling, she took it to offense, as if they were laughing at the cruel way these creatures were treating her.
August 17, eleven p.m: all the two-legs were gone, not a single one stayed behind to keep watch over the animals, believing they were all too stupid to break free. belial slowly crept to the front of the cage, her auds pulled forward to catch any sound that might alert her to an intruder. reaching her paw out, she reached for the metal prong that stuck out off to the side, the very one that she could pull to escape from this plastic hell. her heart beating quicker as she became slightly paranoid, her paw seemingly taking forever to reach that one small piece of metal that would allow her escape.
finally, she managed to find it, her toes scrunching together to get her best grip on it. pulling it her way, she listened for any noise that would tell her she was free to go. and when that sound came, she pushed forward and burst out, falling to the floor with a soft thud. standing up, she shook herself and crept out of the room.
August 18, eight a.m: belial crouched by the back exit of the facility, her mind racing as she waited for the first two-leg to come in that door. she had been waiting here since the moment she got out of her cage, knowing that freedom was only a few hours away, and she would soon be out into the free world once more. footsteps came to her auds from outside, she then readied herself, her muscles tightening and preparing her to launch out of that door. she heard the key press into the lock, and watched as the handle turned. then, the door opened and she raced outwards, almost tripping the two-leg in the process. her heart racing ever faster as adrenaline pumped through her veins.
