The sun wasn't even peeking out of the trees yet when Fallenstreak awoke. Hauling herself to her paws with great effort, the calico she-cat stretched, careful not to hit any of her clanmates. Padding out into the fresh, crisp air, she ruffled her fur. The wind was blowing through camp, sending a chill through the air. The calico she-cat padded over to the fresh-kill pile, horror filling her. There wasn't a single piece left! Deciding she should gather a hunting patrol, she she-cat looked around for anyone.
A sinking feeling gathering in her chest, Fallenstreak felt disappointment rising. It was too early for most cats to be up, let alone ready for a patrol. Flicking her tail irritably, the she-cat nosed her way back into the den. Watching her paws, she tread lightly on the ground, careful not to walk upon any tails or wake any clanmates. Knowing at least one of her clanmates would be waking up, she careful whispered into the den. "Anyone up for a hunting patrol?"
OOC: Yeh, short. My apologiez.

[ x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x ] whitedust was fast asleep in the den on her own moss. she slept in peace in a dreamless sleep. her ears occasionally twitching. though she was asleep she was still alert to anytime someone would need her. she stayed curled in a tight ball and no intentions of getting up till later on.
a voice lightly echoed through the den causing her to wake up as her eye lips flipped open revealing her blue eyes. she glanced at fallenstreak and got up stretching her long body giving a shake of her long white fur as she mewed softly glancing around the den, "i'm up. . .sure. why not. i'll go." she slowly padded around everyone trying hard not to wake them up as she went towards fallenstreak. she let out one yawn and stretched again as she whispered, "how'd you sleep?" her eyes darted around the den seeing if anyone else was going to join them.
OCC: short. . .sorry. dont kill me im really tired but i wanted to respond.

With the morning twilight he was up, meaning the sky was still a hazy violet, just kissed with a milky light along the horizon. The moon hung low and round, almost transparent with the eminently rising sun and sinking ever faster as consciousness finally reached Copperclaw in its fullest extent.
It was a rare day when the tom didn't have to be shaken awake by a fellow warrior, but it seemed that this was just one of those strange mornings. With a soft pop, the tom's jaws formed an enormous yawn in sequence with the rising of his muscular frame from his nest. Careful not to disturb those still deep in slumber around him, he rather gracefully picked his way around the close-packed bodies, out into the dim morning light, just beginning to peek over the treetops. Although he knew there were earlybirds in the clan, and knew they would of course be awake by now, Copperclaw still couldn't help be shocked by the cats now milling about camp. Who, in their right mind, would be voluntarily awake at this hour? The birds were only just beginning to sing!
Still, he himself was awake, and so were they, so he thought he may as well make his way over to them. Two pretty she-cats, he noted, and couldn't help but become nervous. Without his boisterous brother to overshadow him, Copperclaw quickly became self-conscious and almost shy. However, he went to them nonetheless. In turn, he dipped his head to Fallenstreak and then Whitedust, casting them each a small smile. "Good morning. Are you two patroling?" Not needing much of an answer, as that was clearly their intention, the ginger tom sat near them and set about to licking down his sleep-ruffled fur whilst the small party continued to wait.

It was a pretty morning, and the pale, creamy-ginger she-cat had been awake for quite awhile compared to others. She'd sat quietly in her favorite little corner of camp, her grey-blue eyes watching for the beige tom that was her mentor. Creektwist and Rosepaw hadn't trained in a few days, but the shy, awkwardly built femme didn't mind all that much. Hunting crouches proved to be ever so complicated with her odd, lanky limbs that she sometimes wondered if she'd ever grow into her too-large body. Drawing in a short breath and letting out a wistful sigh that confirmed her secret desire to fit in, the CelestialClan apprentice let her gaze tumble through the camp, her eyes spending only a few moments on each cat before her. It was much like she'd move around, really. Her paws were clumsy and she often tottered about trying not to harm anyone around her. That'd happened before, and all the she-cat could manage was a stuttered 'sorry' and carry on. No one really minded her being around, but some didn't particularly seek her out. In fact, no one really did. Loneliness didn't often bother her, but today it was. In the bright rays of early morning as the sun dawned and the moon fell, Rosepaw felt the bittersweet pangs of loneliness coming over her.
Thankfully, a she-cat by the name of Fallenstreak had just recently emerged from her den along with another she-cat and a tom. Ears flattening against her faded tabby-mark head, her grey-blue eyes glistened faintly with fear as she approached, going against everything inside her. "M-morning." She managed, still looking a bit fearful. Hopefully one of them would be kind enough to speak to her and not be offended when her answers were very slight. Having heard just a bit of the words that they had spoken travel toward her on the wind, Rosepaw was aware that they were to go hunting. "M-m-may I join your..p-patrol?" Stuttered she, resisting the urge to crumple down onto the ground in a sitting position instead of standing tall with her awkward features. Almost larger than one of the other females to begin with, Rosepaw felt very much out of place.

Fallenstreak looked at Whitedust, who still seemed half asleep. "How'd you sleep?" She asked, voice laced with sleepiness. Fallenstreak was hesitant to answer, in case she let her thoughts drift out by accident. Maybe the she-cat should go back to sleep. "I slept good. How about you?" She asked out of politeness. She didn't know how to hold a conversation with Whitedust, for she had really never spoken to the she-cat before. Maybe once at a clan meeting or so, but never on a casual basis. Feeling awkward, the she-cat shuffled her paws.
Before Whitedust had a chance to respond, a tom by the name of Copperclaw padded out. She could tell he was a bit nervous, but she didn't play into it or anything. She knew how it felt, and it wasn't fun. "Good morning. Are you two patroling?"
He asked politely. Fallenstreak dipped her head. "Yes, we are. Hunting patrol, actually. Would you like to join?"

She asked, blinking. She waited for the tom to reply, but another cat padded up. It was the apprentice, Rosepaw. Fallenstreak tipped her head to the side when the she-cat spoke. "Why of course you can join, Rosepaw." She said, forcing a purr. She knew the apprentice felt awkward. Once no other cat had arrived, Fallenstreak turned so she could see all the assembled cats. "So where do you guys want to go?" She asked quietly, aware of other sleeping cats. Flicking her tail, the she-cat waited for a response. × × × × × × × × × × × × × × × && There's winged love on the horizon ~

[ x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x ] the she-cat's body ached reminding her that it still desired sleep. she pushed it aside yawning as she smiled sheepishly and said, "my mind feels rested but my body begs to differ. " once again stretching her long white body before standing straight shaking her fur trying to wake herself up fully. she wasn't a morning cat typically. she wasn't grumpy or anything in the morning. she just preferred to sleep in until she felt full rested and ready to be up and about. her blue orbs traveled around the den till they landed upon a ginger tom. he looked slightly familiar. she probably saw him around camp. she wasnt one to talk to different cats still feeling uncomfortable in this clan but she knew the best way to get comfortable was to find some cats to help her feel like she fit in with celestialclan cats. though so far that has been a challenge she hoped to over come it soon. she offered a smile for the ginger cat that she failed to remember the name of. she kept quiet not wanting to embarrass herself because she didn't remember all the cats names in the clan. whitedust felt awkward standing there. her mind flipped through names in the clan trying to match it with the ginger tom in front of her. though nothing seemed to come. she stuck close to the fallenstreak and tom she was joining in the hunting patrol as she would take occasional fleeting glances to the cats that were early birds envying how they could be up so early and easily just get up without the weight of sleep on them. her eyes caught on a creamy ginger she-cat apprentice heading towards them. she sensed the apprentice's awkwardness and felt a little sense of relief that she wasnt the only one feeling awkward. though it didn't help much that all whitedust knew about this cat was the obvious; she was an apprentice, she was a creamy ginger, and she felt awkward. whitedust glanced to fallenstreak as soon as the name 'rosepaw' left her lips and made a mental note to remember the apprentices name. whitedust took the quick moment to glance around the camp at the few cats up trying to set the names to their faces. she could proudly say she got through a majority of the ones out till fallenstreak's voice snapped her back as she just shrugged her muscular shoulders. being an iceclan cat her body was built more muscular especially around the shoulders and paws for fishing. she simply meowed, " i would say the forest or the stream. . .i'm more of a cat that hunts by fishing but there isn't many fish or at least big enough fish to feed a clan but it would be enough to contribute and feed a stomach and i'm sure there are other prey around there because its a water source or we can go to the forest." she glanced between the other three cats equally waiting for their input about where they wanted to go or thought would be an ideal place to hunt. The big tabby rolled his shoulders, letting his lids slide down whilst he relaxed his muscles that seemed to be slightly sore after such a short bout of sleeping. Mentally Copperclaw noted that he probably ought to find a quiet place during the patrol to return to later, for he saw a nap in his near future. Shaking his head to clear it of these thoughts, the warrior pricked his ears to one side, where he noticed yet another female approached. Rosepaw was her name, if he recalled correctly. Her pretty flame-point features showed evident embarrassment as she made her presence rather awkwardly known, and he cast her what he hoped to be a friendly smile whilst he dipped his head. "Good morning lass. Sleep well?" He mewed, his throaty voice still rough with sleepiness, but he figured he might as well break the ice.
Before he could catch an answer, he caught Fallenstreak's words and nodded with a bit of enthusiasm. "I'd love to, thanks. Probably ought to make myself useful if I'm gonna be awake at this StarClan-forsaken hour." He purred, flicking his tail in an easygoing manner before she spoke again. Copperclaw cocked his head to catch her soft words, but had no reply in store so instead he listened to the others. Looking from Fallenstreak to Rosepaw, he knew they would have no answer, so he instead turned his golden-green eyes upon the remaining she-cat, frowning slightly when he realized she was that newcomer, the one who claimed to originate from IceClan, or something. Still, he found her rather pretty and saw no particular harm in having her around. Idly, the ginger wondered whether or not she was feeling welcome in the clan. Perhaps he ought to pursue her friendship, he thought, but brushed these distractions away when he heard what she had to say.
"Sounds good to me." He murmured, dipping his head in agreement.

Rosepaw's response to Fallenstreak's acknowledgement was a shy smile, her thankfulness shining in her blue-grey eyes. Accompanying her expression was a humbled dip of her head to the long-haired multi-colored she-cat, and a twitching of her whiskers. Listening politely to the words of her other clanmates, the creamy-ginger flame-point stiffened as the white and ginger tom addressed her. Flicking her eyes at hm, she met his pale green orbs and the tiniest of smiles came across her maw. "Y-yes." Curiosity began bubbling up insider her uneven body as she felt her face grow warm from the subtle bit of attention from the opposite gender. Any action done with kindness was enough to make Rosepaw soar with a hidden, emotional high.
Turning her neck to face Whitedust, the warrior previously of IceClan, she felt confusion come over her. 'What's it like knowing you'll never fit in?
' Rosepaw thought, opening her mouth just a bit as her pink tongue lolled out stupidly. Making it appear as if she'd meant to do the silly action, she reached dwon and licked at her fluffy chest fur and regained what little self-assurance she did have. ' I am going to fit in someday, right?' The lanky femme asked herself, worrying about the answer to the question. It was the one thing in the world that she wanted to know above all else, but she would have to find the answer to the question on her own, once she had found herself. Face crumpled up like a piece of misused paper, she surely looked odd to the other patrol cats, all perplexed over nothing.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
