Ivystorm
Ivystorm licked the bottom of her foot, biting in now and then to take out a couple of the thistles matted in the underfur. Moving from there to her side, she found that few leaves and thorns stuck after going through that bush. She could have lived without the going through that dumb bush for that stupid squirrel. It didn't even go that way, she just wanted the short-cut. A lousy short cut, that really costed her. Even if she followed, she wouldn't have caught it. The suprise was all gone, she knew that even before she chased it. What had given suprised it? What did she do to make even a slight amount of noise? She shook her head looking over her tail to grab all the thistles out of it.
After taking care of her fur she cleaned over the her paws to rid of the dirt, then with a flick of her tail, she strode on towards her pile. She would have to return with only two catches this time around, but it wasn;t like a competition so worries of any type were hidden in doubt. The air surrounding her grew thick, and she could feel the winter just barely ending. She was happy it was like this, but also not to proud of it. The air was no more then a sinple warning that Newleaf was near, and she was indeed happy about that. It also meant though that LeafBare was still there. Shaking her head, she passed the trees and hill carefully. The escense of life was all around, and she was happy that it was so. Her own breathing became excited. Her heart thrummed and she felt anxiety again.
She smiled, passing beneath the trees and she say small buds of flowers growing. The clouds became darker and she could almost see the rain falling. It reminded her of Rapidrain, her sister. Rapidrain was clumsy sometimes, and quite dumb. She was always so shut down to herself and spoiled, but now she was one of the happiest cats she had ever seen. Running through the shrub, she finally found a pile of dirt, higher then the ground level. She quickly started digging and found her prey, dead and still. She picked them both up, and headed back towards camp.
The wind grew and she could smell the rain heavy and waiting to ruin things. The humid air grew thicker and thicker and she was more then happy to return to camp. She didn't run, but her steps were wide and pacing fast. It would be best to get to camp, the frost on the ground wasn't there anymore but she could tell that soon it would be rain. Heavy rain, in which could get very wet. Despite Rapidrains name she didn't even like getting wet, this made Ivystorm laugh, but she did have a beautiful name nevertheless. Ivystorm had to give one thing to her sister that she didn't have, and that was happiness. he was always happy, nothing reall set her to the sad mood. It was one thing that made her jealous. There were always problems, no matter where they were. Rain started pelting the ground and she felt her pelt get hit and wet with rain. She shook her fur, glad to at least give the clan fresh food. Continuing on, she tried not to let the rain disturb her mood.
