r a g e** it's the only emotion they let me feel Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Every waking second of every day was a drag. His life sucked, and there was nothing else to say about that. Sure, he could beat the living shit out of any cat pretty darn easily, but that didn't count for much when everyone around you has the same ability. There was nothing interesting about these cats anymore to Rage. He'd been with them for nearly a year, and things certainly didn't change. Everyone was bloodthirsty, everyone lusted for another, and everyone didn't give a damn about this cat or the next. They lived to kill, breed, and repeat. You're frickin' right it got boring. His large, auburn tabby limbs were stiff from his constant insomnia. Boredom all day and boredom all night led to a terrible life of the midnight solitude. Stars flashed in the night sky above him, and he felt a faint pull to him. "No." He grunted softly to himself, refusing to look to the stars for longer than a second. If his emerald flicked eyes gazed up, his entire being would be caught in a shroud of silent shame. Hell no, he didn't regret leaving, but sometimes he did feel that he'd betrayed a lot of cats. 'Stop.' His conscience hissed, eyes flaring with a firey heat. Rage. Of course that's what they call him. It was the one thing about him that exerted no control whatsoever. Letting out a long, drawn out sigh, the tom lifted himself from his nest and began wandering out of the main area where the other Delirium cats slept. Pointless, pointless. His paws carried him onward, out of reach of the dark tendrils of sleep entirely. No matter how much he wanted, sleep wouldn't come. For him, there was only a pitiful semi-conciousness that would have to do. Rage's paws tumbled across the ground. It was frozen still, but a few sparse grasses had begun to sprout here and there. What a wonderful territory the great and almighty Shard had chosen. He snorted just as he heard a crunch on the frosty ground behind him. "You disgust me." The tom snarled, whipping about and flashing his cobalt eyes in supressed anger.

Catching a glimpse of her reflection in a sparkling pool of water the she-cat paused in her strut, intrigued. Gazing intently she saw a lean she-cat with ebony fur, innocent looking turquoise eyes and a small patch of white fur that was out-weighted by the darkness that clung to the rest of her fur, and her heart. The picture of her that had been reflected at her paws was soon disturbed by a sudden lashing of the winds temper, sending ripples across the surface of the pool that make the light from the sun appear almost as though it was dancing. Stray strands of grass, among with crisp leaves and dry earth were also among the organisms to be disturbed by the sudden force of mother nature. It was a perfect example of how everything could be so sweet, calm and serene one minute then the next - well you knew how it went if you had been around Delirium for long enough. For example...
The tranquil pools that this particular she-cat referred to as her eyes seemed to darken all too quickly as the vast expanse that lay before her was clouded with a muscular tabby tom that would damped any cats mood. She sighed audibly and one of her ears twitched slightly to one side. All Rage did was sit around brooding and if his annoying presence wasn't enough he threw in the odd complaint here and there which was enough to land him a few unsheathed blows from yours truly. Such a typical clan cat, they all seemed to carry their problems with them wherever they went rather than deal with them and move on. One of the many reasons she always frowned upon clan cats wanting to be a part of them, that and you never knew where their loyalties would lie, but no, Shard had it handled, Shard knew what he was doing. Yeah right. Knowing her brother he probably had low expectations for the brooding tom anyway and he should have aspirations to kill him whenever he proved to be disloyal.
As she approached she stretched out her lean bodice and her tail curled into the shape of a question mark. "Excuse me?" She whispered beside the tom air before her maw quickly snapped shut with a crack as her pearly whites met. "You disgust me." She echoed padding past him and brushing her tail over his flank. "How so?" Purred the femme as she slowly tilted her head so one side, all the while studying the tabby with careful, guarded eyes.

r a g e** it's the only emotion they let me feel A sickening chill passed over the tom's body as the cat before him turned into the obsidian she-cat from his nightmarish reality. Her siren's call came in the form of her dark olive eyes - a reminder of the brilliantly shining eyes peering over a Clan's fresh spring land's all those many tail-lengths away. Swallowing hard, the auburn tabby bored his emerald dusted cerulean eyes into Eclipseomen's. "Who don't you disgust?" He replied airiliy, sniffing at the air sarcastically, looking away from that damn tom's sister's. It was no use using harsh words against her; she'd skin him alive in seconds, and she had the authority to do so. Damn Delirium cats. Letting out a dramatic sigh, the tom looked back to her, narrowing his eyelids, having recovered from his witty outburst. "In such ways only a tom would know, 'clipsey, dear." Continued the tabby tom, his tongue not making good choices as it made mistake after mistake. As her dusky tail trailed over him, he shivered the kind of shiver that only came at moments of great oddity, fearful of what the dangerous beauty would do next. "I'm only kidding, I do hope you know. Or am I allowed to do that?"Inquired the tom, stepping away from the she-cat. She drew toms in quickly and seemed to kill them off; Rage needed to get away before she tried too many things on him. His flickering gaze shined brightly in the night's shadow, and he felt a chilled post-winter breeze chase through his pelt once more. Mind racing, he thought of how Delirium was a place full of masochistic murderers that had ways that were merely a fine echo of the Clans. He snorted once before turning back to the she-cat, wary of her next words and moves, his heat beginning to pound loudly in his ears with a thump-thump-thump. Would she take his cheek? Most likely not, but he could only hope now. Eclipseomen didn't flinch when it came to lashing out on her fellow Delirium members, and surely she wouldn't think twice when it came to teaching this clanborn tom a few things.
