vv. Her paws dashed quietly across the forest floor as her bright, olive eyes took in her surroundings. Sickening scents and tastes still filled her mouth as she darted across the land, heading away from the vile town named Trenton. Twolegs were digusting creatures that didn't know anything at all. They were useless beings that did anything to interupt everything. Spitting at the undergrowth in disgust, the bengal she-cat came to a stop nearby a dying willow tree. "Have those idiot twolegs done something to you too, tree?" Virus hissed as her back right paw was lifted off the ground in pain. Wincing, her bloodshot eyes glared at the wound that the vile twoleg had inflicted upon her.
vv. Blood had continued to seep from the deep gash even though she had carefully laced and packed it with all the cobwebs she could find. Ugh. The bengal she-cat had betrayed herself the moment she had used to the stupid Clan way to stop bleeding. "Why can't you just clot like a normal cut already?" She groaned to herself and the prey looming in the wild all about her. Hunger tore through her stomach and she swore. Virus was in no condition to hunt! Limping closer to the tree's lowlying branches, she gingerly came to a stop beneath the partial shade. The she-cat then proceeded to fall to the ground with exhaustion.
vv. It'd been such a long time since she'd allowed herself a moment of rest. Whose stupid words put the idea in her head that there would be easy food in Trenton? Oh yes, it had been that loser tom cat that had been hidden away in the barn toward the edge of those dumb Clans' land. Hissing with discomfort from the wound, she found herself becoming panicked at the prospect of infection. Virus was a simple wanderer, she didn't know how to heal these things! This was exactly why she was always careful not to get hurt, but what had caused her to allow herself to be so naive? Nothing came to mind except the fact that she had begun to trust the cats about her. "You're full of bad ideas." The bengal she-cat told herself in anger.
vv. A rustling sound came from behind her, and the disgruntled she-cat craned her neck to see what was happening. She squinted with disgust as a cat-like figure emerged from the undergrowth. "How incredibly kind of you to come to my aid." The she-cat spat sarcastically before slowly moving into a defensive stance. "What could you possibly want from me?" Was the final hiss Virus managed out before waiting an answer from the other cat.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size][/blockquote]

Two sunrises had past and he still wasn't able to find his mentor anywhere. Either Shard was going to have his head for not being able to fetch the gang's healer, or if the large white tom ever returned Shard would make sure he wouldn't be alive for long. No matter what the outcome it would still be a cruel one but that was nothing that Toxicpaw wasn't used to. He was born into a cruel world and born to be cruel. The power to kill was strong in his bloodline and was something that was expected of him. Anyone who turned their back on these circumstances would be considered dead to Delirium, and quite often that would be literal. He was still a young tom at the age on only eleven moons but he understood everything that went on and was not faint hearted in the slightest. Born to kill. Willing to kill. Thinking about this made his claws itch to sink into the flesh of another to be greeted by small beads of blood. Currently there was no cat more deserving of his claws than his former mentor. Nobody got away with betraying Delirium especially if Shard has anything to do with it.
It had admittedly been a bad idea from the start, making the clan healer his mentor. He didn't want to be a healer in the slightest. He wanted to be a killer. However, Shard was intelligent and would let no cat into Delirium if their battle skills weren't up to his standard and his mentor had been wise and an excellent fighter so in the end he learned to fight as well as his siblings but knew the herbs to fix all the wounds he inflicted on others. It was then he scented the blood. It came from an unrecognizable scent, he could tell it came from a cat but he just didn't know what one. Luckily for him he was fully grown and looked a lot older and wiser than he appeared. One should also never doubt the violence in his heart as it was easily stronger than that of a cat ten times his age. He would confront the wounded loner, but their fate was still in their paws.
Pushing his way out of the bushes the large silver bengal was confronted by a smaller, tan coloured she-cat with blood seeping from her hind paw. A snarl ripped from his maw and he puffed himself out taking an attacking stance ready to quite happily tear this older she-cat to shreds. "Listen loner," He snarled down at her with narrowed green eyes. "I have the knowledge of herbs to heal your wound but I also have the same knowledge that would allow me to kill you, it's your choice." He spat angrily, his fur bristling with the fury of a potential battle. "Then again who needs herbs when you have claws like these." He hissed, sliding his claws from his sheathes.

vv. Anger filled the she-cat as a silver tom approached her. The snarls that exploded from him made her smile with mock amusement. 'Look who's full of themself.' Virus trilled in her head, peals of laughter silently causing her head to subtly shake. "There's more of a chance that I'd listen to a newborn kit than you, tom." She spat acidly at him as her olive eyes bubbled over with rage and everything that accompanied it. Flicking her bengal marked tail with enthusiasm, Virus let a smirk cover her true expression of pain. Every time she adjusted her hind leg, torrents of pain quickly rushed up it. She refused to let a single look or sound of discomfort come across her. Weakness was for other cats that weren't her.
vv. Knowledge of herbs signified weakness too, in Virus' opinion. Not that her opinion mattered to anyone, hardly even herself. This tom kept on speaking in a manner that was supposed to catch attention and captivate the listener with fear, but it did not have an effect on this bengal she-cat. She simply raised one of her front paws and licked it to show her utter boredom. And what a bore indeed! Glancing away from her spotted paw, she looked to the silver tabby before her. As handsome as he was, he believed that Virus was nothing but a soft little loner. Ugh. Even the word loner made the she-cat ill. She preferred the term 'rogue' for it at least let another cat know of the malice that could build up inside of her.
[/i] vv. At the tom's final, foolish statement, the she-cat threw back her head and began to laugh. How menancing he had wanted to come across! Virus knew that he was full of himself for sure. She wasn't afraid of this thing placed in front of her. In fact, she felt at ease amongst this other malicious cat. Nothing would hurt her unless provoked, which she was pretty good at. Judging by the way the tom carried himself, though, she knew it wouldn't be her simple actions that would set him ablaze with anger. Smirking once more, she began to test the waters. "I've met Clan apprentices with more spunk than you, sweetheart. And they've never even seen a real battle." Virus meowed, letting out a short chuckle at the end of her spoken words.vv. Pricking her ears up to listen to the tom's reply, she looked around her once more at the odd things surrounding her under the willow tree. A few pieces of twoleg scraps were about the tree which disgusted her. Did they have to ruin everything? Taking her attention back to the tom, she let out a snarl to match his previous ones. "So, what's it gonna be, tom? We gonna stand here all day and talk?"[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

A she-cat too full of herself for her own good. This would not turn out well. He snorted at her comment relating to a kit. "Of course you would, you're a soft little she-cat, always talking to talk to the kits, maybe you should go back to the nursery where you belong with all the other she-cats." He spat, tail lashing in the wind. It wasn't wise for her to be talking in such a way to him, he had a short temper and an urge to fight which had been building within him for a long time. The urge started small and day by day it grew, often members of Delirium would have scuffles between themselves. They were a gang of hungry cats, hungry for blood, hungry for violence. They got bored easily and they had to be kept amused. Since his mentor had left him on his own he had no means of amusement, although Shard should have made him a warrior by about now so he was slacking a little in that area. Although, if he wanted to keep his ears it would probably be better if he didn't mention anything to the large black tom as even though they were in a gang Shard did give them quite a lot of freedom to do as they pleased.
"I'm sorry talk? To you?" The tom snorted and turned slightly flicking his tail at the she-cat. "Since I'm only a lowly apprentice I probably shouldn't waste your time I mean it's clearly very valuable." He snorted to himself in amusement. He moved forward, he looked to the side as he walked by her while wearing a bored expression. He forced his fur to settle giving her the impression that he was giving up on this fight, but he would never. He was from Delirium and he never walked away from a fight, and had a habit of fighting dirty. Quickly taking the opportunity to spin around he aimed a blow at her wounded hind leg and moved out of paws-length swiftly in case the she-cat made a quick move on him. She looked like the type to make quick moves, but he was the type to make powerful and accurate blows while he had more of a robust build. He tensed himself, his eyes glittering at the excitement of a battle.

vv. Spitting with anger at the tom, Virus attempted to keep her cool and cruel demeanor. Stepping closer to the tom, she bared her fangs. "Any kits I've spoken to are long dead. They disgust me. Tiny little fleabags think they own the world. Ha!" Her bengal marked body flexed as she tensed her muscles, ready for whatever this tom happened to throw her way. Olive eyes to the brim with irritation, she seemed to irradiate anger and repulsion. This tom thought too highly of himself. Ugh, ugh, ugh. It was then that her leg decided to pain her once more, and she whipped her head back and glared at her own body. 'Oh, this simply won't do!' The she-cat thought before whipping her head back 'round to face this disgusting tom.
vv. "I'm sorry, talk? To you?
[/u]" The tom so eloquently snorted. " Why, yes, since it's all you've done so far!" She retorted before the tom told her of his true ranking. He was an apprentice. Ha! What an absolute riot. Virus and her valuable amount of time were indeed being spent talking to this failure. Hmph! " Something's gone wrong with your training, then, since you haven't learned it's not polite to attack she-cats without properly being introduced! The bengal she-cat yowled as the tom reached outward with unsheathed claws to attack. Before she could realize where his trajectory would be landing, the tom's claws and torn open the already fresh wound quite a bit more.[/i] vv. A loud shriek of pain escaped the she-cat's light colored maw as she unsheathed her claws and turned about to strike the tom. Her claws reached and stretched for his chest and his face, but she only felt contact once. Which area she had struck was unknown. She wouldn't be totally on the offensive, so she lept toward the tree and prepared herself to duck and intwine herself with the large roots that came up from the ground. Virus was readied for the tom's next strike, whatever that might be. Blood poured from her hind leg, but at this point, she couldn't care less. No matter the pain she felt, she wouldn't allow herself to be slowed down. She was really and truly a virus. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Toxicpaw snarled at her bearing his fangs visibly. "You say that as though your remarks aren't derogatory in the slightest." He spat. "And after teaching me how to kill my mentor left, guess he knew I would be to much to handle." He added with a dark chuckle. "Not that Shard would want me to be trained any other way." That was when he felt her claws move over his nose and he sharply pulled away and shook his head, sending tiny beads of blood spraying over the grass. He was in an attacking crouch, circling her, his dark eyes watching for her next more, he was ready to strike. His mother was pregnant with kits and he wasn't letting cats like her anywhere near delirium for the good of the kits and the rest of the gang. Maybe they would take her prisoner for a while since she was in no shape to escape him with a wound like that on her hind leg. He spat in disgust as she fled to hide behind the tree. "You coward! Your talk is so big yet you can even face an apprentice that you seem to think you can get away with talking so lowly of!" He yowled after her while stalking forward. This fight wasn't over.
The scent of the blood dripping from a cut on his nose and pouring from the wound in the she-cat leg drove him crazy. He wanted more blood to be spilled and it wasn't going to be his own. Claws caressed the ground as he got closer and closer, tail lashing. Jerking forwards he moved towards her hind end in an attempt to distract her as her wound would most likely be the area she wanted to protect at the present. However, as he lifted his paw to smash it into her hind legs he changed direction and aimed it at her head instead. Quickly he bounded backwards a fox-length and turned back to face her. He was already preparing his next attack while watching her closely through his deadly green orbs. "You know you want a piece of me she-cat." He taunted with a menacing chuckle.

vv. Her paws traced the tree's thick roots beneath them, rough bumps taunting her to fall and twist about. Stepping back, her paws slipped in the sticky blood that was quickly drying once it fell from the wound protruding from her hind leg. Clenching her sharp teeth together, the she-cat hissed between her ivory teeth. "Oh, Shaaard." She crooned, mocking the leader of the group of idiot rogues. "You mousebrains in Delirium are practically head voer heels for him or going gary for him!" Virus spat, whipping about as Toxicpaw circled around her.
vv. Ugh! Every word this demented tom said made her anger rise until she was more irritated than a wet cat on a freezing day. An incoherent yowl of immense frustration escaped her maw as the tom mocked. "Since when is tactfully using one's surroundings cowardice? Not everything has to be aggresive. It's how you win battles!" Virus taunted before the tom began to lash out once more. He had aimed for her hind legs, but she wouldn't be distracted by them! A single, deep wound wouldn't get the best of her. Scowling, she pulled her legs in, and lept away as the tom twisted about, changing his attention to her head.
vv. As he nicked her ear with a sharp claw, she spat at the tom's dirty paws. No cat aimed for her face! Virus pounced at the tom, taking him down and rolling in the dirt just after he had let out a cry of ignorance. "Not even a buzzard would want a taste of your warm, rotting body!" Virus snarled, baring her fangs and flitting from the tom. The branches of the willow tree reached down at her like malicious fingers that twolegs had. Ugh, ugh, ugh! Her guard was down as she was distracted by the tree's build, and it only meant trouble for the she-cat.

The large silver tom couldn't help but chuckle as she whipped from side to side in an attempt to watch his every move. He had a good assumption of her battle tactics already and they had barely been fighting for long. Judging but her lean appearance then she was more likely to use speed over strength as she didn't appear to have much strength, compared to someone such as himself anyway. On top of that all the moves she had pulled on him had been quick. However, it was only a matter of time until one of his massive paws battered against her body, then she would probably have trouble keeping up with the pace she was used to. Meanwhile he would be robust, at the end of the day he would most likely only obtain a few minor scratches that he could deal with himself. "Shard? Hm no, he really isn't what I would look for in a cat and quite frankly I don't swing that way and neither does anyone else around here." He hissed.
Her next comment made his smirk even wider. "No no sweetie, it's how cats such as yourself win battles because you can't take very much battering." He teased with his tail lashing. This was probably the most fun he had experienced in a while, he should find time to go out and attack loners more often. "I'm saying your weak, just in case you didn't get that." He added, but he had probably spoken a little too soon since seconds later he found himself on his ground, lying on his side. He wasn't on the ground for long as he kicked outwards at the she-cat and her weight seemed to be lifted from him. Now she had her back turned to him. She really was a bit of an idiot, he would never take the time to turn his back on anyone. "Well that's probably a good thing since I wont be dying anytime soon, I'm sure they will have fun eating you alive after I snap your feeble limbs one at a time." Those were his last words before he launched himself at her, his claws coming down of her back. He aimed a couple of strong, clawless, blows at her before unsheathing his claws again and taking a few swings, eyes glittering with his longing for a decent fight.
