The healer padded about on the moorland, searching fruitlessly for the bright red berries. He was on a different path than Shatteredrose, for he had sent her to look for stinging nettle, a remedy he would need to stock up on. What he was searching for though was not something that healed a cat, but could often kill one, no matter how strong, if given a high enough dosage. Soul was on a hunt for deathberries. The grass was soft, and it felt soothing under his aching paw pads. He knew he couldn't waste time though, for after a great battle, there were sure to be cats to treat. The white tom walked toward the eastern border, the one they shared with CelestialClan. Well, not really shared, for Delirium was bound by no warrior code and they were free to do what they wished, and that was how Soul planned to live his life. As his thought drifted, he paid almost no attention to his surroundings as anger against the clans lured him away from his body. Then, his fur bristled and he hissed suddenly, only to find the animal crossing his path to be a hare. How foolish he was to think it might be a threat. Soul was still young, but fit for the job, as his mind provided. Now he would continue to scour the territory, looking for any signs of a deathberry bush. |

His paws were heavy, as were his eyelids. He had been unable to sleep for days. His heart ached for Eclipseomen, just to see her, just to know for sure they were no more. He had not gone into the new Camp, for fear he would not come out. Shard would easily have him killed...or would he? He shook his head, waking himself up a bit more, and saw that he was near the farmland. He noticed the field of cotton, and sat down to stare at the seemingly endless rows.

Eclipseomen grabbed another mouthful of cotton when a tiny metal bullet came in her direction. Her eyes grew wide until they were big as black saucers. She flattened her lean black physique to the ground and felt the adrenaline rushing through her limbs straight to her head. Her heart thudding in her chest. Her fur prickled with excitement at the thought of it all. She waited till the second bullet had been fired and missed until she ran for it. She shot through the field her limbs carrying her quickly, she felt as though she was flying through the air. Cotton brushed her black pelt and clung onto it and she was sent hurtling into a plant as she avoided another shot. Jumping to her paws she ran the last few fox length's of the field and began to run up the meadow. When she felt she could run that fast no longer the pile of cotton fell from her mouth and she felt herself flopping down on the grass. Her eyes were big black circles and her heart still thudded. She began to laugh and she rolled onto her back as she giggled fearlessly. What a chase! She continued to giggle as she rolled around on the grass happily. She had not been able to experience that much excitement in a long time. If only Shard knew what he was missing, or...it hurt too much to say his name anymore.

He saw her rolling around and giggling. A knife had been stabbed through his heart. She was fine without him, and he knew it. He saw it. He took a step toward her, and opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. A few tears made their way down his face, and his heart broke even more. He closed his eyes, dipped his head, and turned his back to her. The last thing her heard from her was her beautiful giggles. He walked around stupidly, looking for the other half of his heart, but he knew it was with her. Eclipseomen. He spotted the enterance to a small cave that was barely visible, and went inside. The cave was small, and there was only room for about three or four cats, but Anubis curled up in the corner anyway. As he did so, he let the tears fall down, and he missed her like he had never imagined. The pain was unbearable, and he wished he would die. He rested his head on his paws, and sucked in a breath through his nose and instantly regretted it. The scent of Isis's blood still lingered on his paws and his claws, and the fur on his paws and forepaws was still crusty from it. He looked toward the enterance of the small cave, and imagined Eclipseomen walking in. The thought soothed him, and he stared hungrily at the enterance, wistful of these delusions. |

Rolling onto her paws again she battled with her lungs to fill them with air again, her breathing was heavy and harsh. Her heart still thudded in her chest, it was actually rather distracting, and her eyes were blacker than the blackest night. She wished she could always see like this, everything seemed brighter, clearer, everything had more detail to it. Including the black tom she saw fleeing from the scene. Shard? No it couldn't be, it was Anubis. Dropping the cotton she walked after him, running would be too much for her poor lungs right now. Unlike before when she had ran, her paws were now dragging heavy weights. She thought more than twice about turning back but she still pushed herself to go on. It felt as through her heart had been almost literally torn in two some times, others it took a lot of effort to forget about it all and just move on. Picking up his scent it lead her to a cave. She hesitated for a few moments before finally deciding to go into the cave. When she got there she just stood speechless, what else was there to say? What was she supposed to say. Slowly she put her paws one behind the other, her eyes huge and dark with fear of more than just those gun shots.

He stayed that way for only a short while. Delirous. The sight of her, even if it was just his mind playing tricks on him. It soothed his heart for awhile, but he knew it would be worse after this was over. What was he going to do? He had nowhere to go. Shard disliked him, and Eclipseomen hated him. He couldn't go to them, for Shard at least used to take his sister's opinion first. He loved her so much, he should be happy that she was okay. Movement. His eyes locked onto the place where a cat's paw stopped at the enterance of the cave. A sleek, black paw. He stood up. "Who's there?" he growled, his voice deep and frightening. It didn't occur to him, that it might have been her.

Frozensoul made her way through a patch of long grass, searching for the plant. She scented mouse, and her belly growled, but she could hunt later. Shard and Soul wouldn't be too happy if she took forever finding these stupid nettles. She stopped in front of a tallish green plant. Narrowing her eye she tried to work out what it was. Something sparked in her memory, of being treated with this plant a long time ago. Yes, this was stinging nettle. Biting off as much as she could carry, the pale she-cat turned back to the camp.

Soul walked a while before scenting the air. He smelt the scent of an excited cat,one pumped with adrenaline, as the wind blew the scent toward him. The white tom didn't care, for unless they were outstandingly powerful, Shard wouldn't need them, and if Shard didn't need them, Soul didn't either. White fur ruffled in the wind as he stood atop a rise in the moors, viewing a vast expanse of the territory that currently belonged to Delirium. Then, a small, pink nose rose to the air, and the tom snuffed again, opening his mouth to taste the air. Sure enough, he caught the scent of what he was searching for, and he set off in the direction. Silently he padded, nearing the bright berried bush. His jaws reached forward, turning away from the poisonous berries, and plucking off a leaf. Now white paws batted of a few deathberries, and he watched them fall and hit the ground, rolling for a short distance. His paws rolled them onto the leaf, which he picked up in a neat little bundle. He hoped that Frozensoul hadn't wasted time in finding the stinging nettle, for it was not very elusive at all. Then, he padded off in the direction at camp, ready with his herbs to treat some sickly or wounded cats. Though, he was not of a clan, so instead of treating out of love for a clanmate, he healed out of hatred for the clans, wanting Delirium cats to be health and be able to defeat the clans in battle. Now that he had the supplies he was searching for, he could return to camp.

Eclipseomen thought about fleeing, but she was no coward. She took a step forward and a growl began to creep up her throat. Showing her teeth she snarled at Anubis just at fiercly as he had done with her. "So you have turned to treating me like any outsider now?" She spat and smirked. She looked so confident on the outside, so fearless, so smug, but inside she was dying, crying, weeping, breaking. What he did not know was how much this was breaking her to do this. she had to be strong, Razor would be so proud, her dear old father. Her tail lashed once. "I am sure you wouldn't last long if I told anyone about your little hiding place." She purred ruthlessly. However, her purr broke and faded into some sort of a horrified screech. She gulped and began to back off. Well that was one way to totally embarrass herself.

He snorted, but a certain crinkle in his eye betrayed him. "You wouldn't dare." he meowed, fighting back a chuckle, and the tears. It was heartbreaking to see her, and how she had embarassed herself. And how beautiful she looked. And, and how she was fine without him. And, and, and... He ran out of ands. He let out a small chuckle --barely audible-- and it was heartbreaking to even hear it come from such a noble, big, fearless tom like him. "Shard's taken over MaliceClan. How appropriate for him. Does he still listen to his sister" he meowed sharply, smirking.

"Oh I would dare to betray a heartless sad case like you." She hissed impatiently. Her tail lashed once as her teal eyes grew more narrow by the second. Eclipseomen grinned. "I could take Shard down, I was always the more clever kit, the more cunning, Shard may be strong, but I am the brains behind his plots, I could ruin him." she chuckled, a noise that sounded like knelling bells, only more charming. "He is the muscle, I am the brains, I know how his brain works, well enough to destroy it, but I need the muscle to run things the way I want them, thats right, you may not have noticed, but I am the real one in charge. I let Shard have his fun, but he is boring me, so time for me to step in, he wont really be in charge for any longer." She meowed. Then realised she was rambling, had maybe said too much. Then she remembered it all, having to pretend like she was the victim in this, Shard was not the boss of her.

He stared, realizing what she had said. She was the whole mastermind. This clouded his thoughts, but did not change the main fact. He loved her, and he missed her, and he would fight for her, through anything. "Brilliant." he muttered to himself, his head going off to the side. He looked back at her. Her beautiful black pelt, sleek and shiny. Her eyes, the most beautiful color of blue and green. She had been his, but she was his no more. "Are you going to take me as a prisoner then...?" he asked.

"Only if you are going to be a bad kitty and not do as your told." She meowed softly and grinned. She rested her long sleek black tail on Anubis's flank. "Come on." She meowed sweetly. "Shard is not allowed to hurt you anymore, I am fed up with him having 'fun'" Shee meowed and began to steer Anubis out of the cave. "You will come wont you?" She asked her pupils widening to make her eyes large black saucers.

His heart leapt almost out of his chest when she laid her tail upon his back. She wanted him to come back. She wanted him. He grinned a devilously handsome grin, and nodded. "I'll come." he promised, ready to go back to the camp. He stepped out of the small cave, and turned around, waiting for her to come out.

Eclipseomen grinned flashing her pearl white teeth that glinted in the sun light as she stepped out of the cave. "Some things have to change around her, and I mean big time." She meowed and began a purposeful stalk towards the cave they were living in now, she flicked her tail to Anubis to follow her. Her teal colored eyes narrowed to thin slits, as her temper flared angrily inside her. Threatening to burst at any moment.
Eclipseomen to camp.
