Whitestar stretched her front legs out, freeing herself from the bonds of sleep. She reluctantly opened her emerald orbs to warm sunlight filtering into her den. She wished she hadn't woken up at all; it would be impossible to get back to sleep in her stuffy den - she hadn't noticed how warm it was until she had awoken. Blinking a couple of times, she sat up and gave her chest fur a quick lick before leaving her den and going where her paws led her, not really thinking about it until she realised she was at the warriors den. She quietly slipped inside, and spotted the cat she most wanted to see in the whole Clan. The den looked pretty empty, but she didn't really care as long as Silentwrath was there, which he was of course. Whitestar had to stop herself from purring too loudly until she reached his side, where she touched her nose delicately to his furry flank to see if he was awake.

Silentwrath squirmed as he felt a wet nose tickle his pelt. He was drawn from his day dream and brought back to the not so harsh reality he now lived in. He opened his maw to say something like an insult to what stupid cat had woken him, but then closed it after scenting Whitestar, and also remembering that he could not talk, unlike in his day dream. He hid the disappointment in his eyes and slowly opened them. He blinked the sleep from his eyes as well as the sadness that he could no longer talk. He pushed himself up so he was on all four of his paws and stretched, arching his back, so he looked quite large, and annoyed, even though he wasn't annoyed. He settled back down and pushed his nose into Whitestar's fur playfully. He was mildyl surprised at how empty the den was, it wasn't bad news to anyone's ears if he slept in. A lot of cats thought he was useless. He would show them whats useless really meant if his heart was not taken by the clan leader. If he was useless what did that make them? Utterly pathetic. It certainly meant that they were lower down the food chain than him.

She wasn't sure what to do. Whether she tried to talk to Whitestar or not she wasn't sure. Lonerequiem was gone. Gone and she was left, back where she started. She had no idea what to do. Her mind raced with thoughts and her ginger pelt was ruffled by a light breeze. It wasn't much but still enough to make her fur shake. Blinking her blue eyes she flicked an ear. "What do I do?" She murmured to herself. Rising to her paws she closed her eyes, taking a few steps before she had to force them open. She didn't trust herself anymore, she didn't trust Starclan and she didn't trust her heart. As Whitestar disappeared into the warrior den, Vortex mewed lightly before poking her head in the den. Seeing Whitestar and Silentwrath she took a step back. "Sorry." She mewed. "I was just going to talk to Whitestar but I'll wait until you're not busy." Much of Tempestclan knew who she was now. She had been around camp for some time and it seemed that she was just the ugly ducking in the group.

everything seemed so...empty now..it was weird. though she didn't appear to be as depressed as she thought she'd be, mo was still quite sad. she sighed softly, but consoled herself knowing the memory of twistersoul would always linger in her heart, making cheesy comments and making her feel the utmost uncomfort. she laughed at herself, then stood up. harmonydance spotted vortex, though the two weren't exactly friendly with each other it was worth a try. hey vortex. harmony mewed softly, batting a delicate paw on the ground.

Granitepaw paced at the edges of camp, wondering if she was in trouble for sneaking off and going to the battle. This probably wasn't good for the several wounds and pulled muscles she had, but she didn't care. Unable to hold still, but unable to go meet her fate, she decided to go back to Echowish's den to see if she could get a few more poppy seeds for the barely numbed pain jolting up her spine. Tiptoeing into the medicine cat's den, as to not disturb anythings important going on, she whispered "Are you busy?" She was astonished to find no medicine cat.
Thunderthighs sat angrily in the corner of the medicine cat den. He wanted to leave. The battle was over and he needed to find his mate. He was so angry that if anyone disturbed him or said the wrong thing to him, he might end up ripping a chunk of fur off of them.

As she heard her name, the ginger she-cat turned quickly. Harmonydance fell into her view and a soft smile tried to light up her face. "Hello Harmonydance.....have you seen Lonerequiem?" She had to ask. Somebody had to know where he was. Though she knew he was gone she just had to have it confirmed. She'd have to move on, learn to get a new life. Learn to live another way. Sighing softly she heard a yowl of protest and watched as a large Vertigoclan tom hobbled into the camp. A dark gray cat slung over his shoulders. Vortex rushed over to help, setting the tom down and at once trying to put a name to the tom that smelled of Tempestclan. Through the blood she recognized him as Twistersoul. Gasping in horror she yowled loudly. "We need a medicine cat! Now!" She knew some but it wouldn't be enough. They needed somebody who really knew there stuff. Turning to the Vertigoclan tom she mewed a few words. "Thank you......." The tom simply nodded he was quiet and didn't give a reply. As he bounded away Vortex looked at Harmonydance. She knew they needed cobwebs and more than likely poppy seeds but what else she did not know.
((I miss Twistersoul......Hmmmmm. Maybe he is found like almost dead but rushed to camp and nursed back to life?? Si? I like. *rubs hands together*))

Silentwrath pressed close to Whitestar and purred almost silently. That was before they were interrupted. He lashed his tail angrily disturbing the peace in the den and causing several leaves to flutter down from the den wall and land in other cats nests. Why did every cat have to interrupt his happy moments? It was like they always waited until he started purring then they would come out and claim how they wanted to talk to Whitestar about something else. He stopped an unfriendly growl from escaping his maw this time, but flicked his tail dismissively and left the den. Even though Whitestar was his mate is began to feel as though he was intruding sometimes. His whiskers twitched amused at the helpless cats trying to help themselves. He had stayed behind by choice. He knew a lot of herbs. When he couldn't talk, he could listen to the old medicine cat rambling on about her herbs. He had often been sent to assist her. Well if they wanted his help they could always ask. Not that they would as after all mutes are 'useless' are they not? He snorted to himself and smirked at there attempts. He would have said something, but oh wait, that he could not. So if they wanted help they would have to ask. No cat knew about his hidden knowledge though. He was no expert though, and how would he feel if he was asked to be the medicine cat? That would make him feel even worse. Plus medicine cats were not allowed to take a mate, and he was a better fighter. Most importantly he did not want this. He couldn't even train an apprentice to become a medicine cat. He sighed and ghosted off to a patch in the sun to rest. Circling a few times before settling down curled up in a grey furry ball, he tucked his grey tail over his nose and let the sun soak his pelt with warmth.

She slowly slunk away, knowing there were others, like Twistersoul, that needed a medicine cat more than her. She walked ever slowly to Whitestar's den, seeing Silentwrath leave, and asked "So what's my punishment for going to the battle?" Glancing over her shoulder as Twistersoul she added "I could run to ZephyrClan and get Screechgale if you like."

Olivinesilk layed hey tail comfortingly across Thunderthighs flank. She had said she would stay behind and guard him. She was a great fighter when she wanted to be, but most of the time she didn't, and so she preferred to keep the peace. She had sympathy for the tom, although she had never before had a mate herself, though her brother had. She flinched at the thought. The bitter thought. She would get Celestialclan if it was the last thing she did. Breakingdawn would pay for her brothers death. He would still be alive now, he would not have killed himself if Breakingdawn hadn't turned her back on him and gone back to Celestialclan, a weak little warrior. Not many cats could get under her fur, but she had a mutual hatred for that warrior. Her claws caressed the ground beneath them before she noticed that she was getting carried away with herself. Sheathing her claws she turned to Thunderthighs. "I'll see what I can do for you." She meowed and padded out of no longer occupied medicine cats den. She heard the last of what the apprentice was saying and sighed. "Don't be stupid, Screechgale needs to see to her clan first, and it will be a long time before she is satisfied with her work on her own clan. It would help if everyone started by cleaning their wounds, I am no medicine cat, but if I wound is clean it is less likely to get infected, I know that." She meowed before padding over to Whitestar. "Our prisoner is eager to go, shall I escort him to the edge of our territory?" She asked in her sweetest voice.

Whitestar's purr evaporated along with her happy mood when Silentwrath left. Taking a deep breath to control her anger, she stalked out of the den a few moments after the grey tom. She blinked as she tried to work out what was going on; something about an injured cat..all she could do was answer Olivinesilk's question with a single nod. She had too much on her mind, and it was beginning to tip her over the edge. Maybe she was never meant to be a leader, if she couldn't handle all of this..

"So how much trouble am I in?" Granitepaw asked again, flexing her aching muscles. She knew she should rest but couldn't when she didn't know what type of punishment she would have for running off to battle without asking.

Olivinesilk nodded and layed her tail across Whitestar's shoulder's for a few short moments, before retreating to tell the prisoner the good news. She dipped her head to Silentwrath and a few other cats as she passed them. Entering the medicine cats den where Thunderthighs had been assigned to sleep she half smiled. "I am able to escort you to the edge of our territory, then you may find your mate." She told him hoping this would cheer him up. "I do hope you find her." She added sweetly. Love for a mate was not something that she would be able to understand properly as she did not have a mate, maybe she would someday, however she was content with serving her clan and doing all she could for other cats. Many would say she was too nice for Tempestclan, but they had not seen how angry she could get. How much she hated Celestialclan, Breakingdawn mainly. She had been put off taking a mate after her brother killed himself because of his. "I suppose you will want to get going then?" She asked him quietly.

Harmonydance forced a weak smile onto her face, feeling immense sympathy for Vortex, they were both in the same situation. She liked Vortex, the rouge seemed to fit greatly into the clan and she was an amazing fighter. Well, maybe she didn't exactly fit it, but she was kind of the outcast like Harmonydance was so it was cool to not be alone. No..sorry. She couldn't think of anything else to say so didn't say anything at all. Harmony's eyes widened as a blood-drenched feline was carried into camp, and everything seemed to freeze. It was him. It was Twistersoul. She pelted into the medicine cat's den, not really knowing what in the world was needed but grabbed some cobweb and poppyseeds. Harmonydance ran out, finding the mass lump of fur and blood on the ground.
ooc; =] yay!!!

Adamant as usual she strutted, casting glowers and smirks in random directions, with her head held high, like the hero returning from the battle of epic proportions. Well, she pretty much was, wasn't she? Okay, so her pelt wasn't exactly..scar-laced, but her pride had definitely been bruised here and there, which, admittedly, wasn't easy to do. Kindlepaw's chin jutted higher yet as she realized her warrior ceremony was almost right around the corner, but it wasn't like she could count on Whitestar to remember that what with her current...infatuations. She suppressed a massive sneer as she glimpsed the half-blind leader nodding dumbly at a question from Olivinesilk; she could name any number of cats who could lead the clan better, cats who weren't preoccupied and tripping over their paws in love.
Some nagging force in the back of her mind reminded her it wasn't exactly her to place to comment, but she flicked it away like a flea just as she noticed Harmonydance doing..something, she couldn't be bothered to find out what, in the center of camp. Perfect, one solid training session would be more than ample to thrust her into warriorhood. Absentmindedly she cycled through ideas for a name; Kindleblaze, Kindleglow, Kindlescorch?...She settled herself near Harmonydance, calico tail already lashing impatiently. "You're ready for a training session, right?" she mewed, desperately trying to keep the demanding edge out of her voice; she couldn't afford to get her mentor upset.
--
Golden orbs glinted in the sunlight as she slipped out from the shadows of the apprentices' den, stretching each diminutive limb thoroughly. She gave a dainty shake to her pale, creamy coat and trotted quite purposefully off, already excited at the prospect of seeing Olivinesilk. Hopefully she wasn't preoccupied with something else, or too fatigued from the battle. Abruptly Wrenpaw recognized the harsh, abraisive voice of Kindlepaw and veered off. She had an immense dislike for the she-cat, and with any luck they wouldn't be training together, though it was most likely inevitable. She stopped short and plunked down, quite content despite her venemous thoughts. Maybe training could wait for the day, Olivinesilk seemed pretty frantic anyways.
A pang of hunger erupted in her stomach and she glanced about, hoping one of her buddies was around to share a frog or a vole with. [/blockquote]

"Thank you so much." He replied eyes glowing with warmth and gratitude. "But I find it highly unlikely that I will find her alive, she was close to kitting and wasn't in that good of condition to begin with. And I almost don't want to leave. I have become very fond of some of the cats in the clan." He whispered, tears threatening to come pouring out. As he spoke the last sentence, Thunderthighs gently stroked her flank with his fluffy tail. Glancing over to see Olivinesilk's reaction his stomach twisted into knots.
