Whitestar nodded to her deputy as Wolfcry entered the camp. "That tom is our prisoner. His name is Thunderthighs." In a slightly lower voice she added, "He claimed not to be with MaliceClan anymore, but I don't trust him." Whitestar narrowed her single eye slightly, then continued, "I don't know if you've heard yet, but we are going to unite with the other three Clans to drive out MaliceClan in the coming battle." She waited to see how Wolfcry would take this, hoping the deputy wouldn't mind that Whitestar had announced this to the Clan without consulting her.

Sombersnow pulled up short at the least minute to stand on her hind legs and threatened to slash Silentwrath's ears off. Her eyes narrowed and she turned away from the tom and flicked her tail arrogantly. A low growl formed in her throat and for a second she felt like attacking Whitestar too, but she could not get banned from the forest, if she had been banned from Tempestclan, what clan would take her in? Her eyes glittered sourly and she stalked off, using her bushy tail to flick Silentwrath over the ear with hostility. Beside the tom she looked huge, but she knew than it was only her fur, she knew how small she was under her thick fur. She was a lot leaner than a lot of Tempestclan cats, but she was strong, and as her coat made her look huge, no cat ever thought she was a wimp. Silentwrath was stronger and he knew it. Every cat knew it, Silentwrath may be silent, but he was a deadly fighter, such a shame he would never be able to have an apprentice. She snorted and stalked out of camp.
Silentwrath growled and his claws teased the earth below him with furious hostility. His pelt bristled with fury and it took a lot of effort for him to restrain himself from launching himself at the stupid large looking furball. His tail lashed once and he stalked across camp with a purpose and curled up in the warriors den, his tail covering his eyes, letting him sink into the darkness. His heart thudded, and his breathing was faster than normal as he tried his best to hide from the world. He really wanted to claw the crap out of some cat right now, and preferably that cat could be Sombersnow. She was such a snobby bitch, she was not the only one who could come up with wise idea's around here.

Wolfcry eyed the tom once again as Whitestar spoke. She looked back to Whitestar and chuckled under her breath. "I can see were the name might come from," she said with an amused egde to her voice. She listened more intently as Whitestar spoke in a hushed tone. Wolfcry nodded in agreement that they shouldn't trust him. She still couldn't help wanting a word with the tom though. Pondering the thought, she listened to Whitestar. The news seemed to freeze her. She knew this had to come at somepoint. She just knew it. It was either, drive them out, or wait for all the cats in every Clan to die.
Wolfcry nodded. "Good decision. It was probably that or wait for another attack." Wolfcry shook her head as if she couldn't beleive all that was happening. She spotted Silentwrath stalking away from Sombersnow out of the corner of her eye. She looked back to Whitestar, watching her one eye. It never bothered her that Whitestar had one eye. The leader could claw anyone's eye out still, so why did it matter? "If you don't mind me voicing my opinion," she continued in a lower voice, "I think Sombersnow is a bit controlling. From what I see, it seems she's acting like leader herself," she said, rolling her sapphire eyes.

Whitestar frowned. "Yes. I know," she replied, matching her deputy's low meow, "I guess every cat is different. But she may get out of hand, and I don't want that to happen." She narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything else. Of course, Sombersnow was hardly a problem right now, when there was the looming threat of battle, black storm clouds on the horizon. The Cland needed as many warriors as they could get. A thought occurred to Whitestar then, and she turned to Wolfcry. "Excuse me a moment." She padded off towards the warriors den, where she had seen Silentwrath go. Upon entering she smiled a little tentatively at him, then went and sat down by his side. She let out a quiet purr, which said more than words could.

Silentwrath tried to get to sleep, but he couldn't the camp was too noisy, cats were too busy bustling around. He was glad Sombersnow had gone, had she been that rogue there was no telling what her would do. His ears pricked as he heard a cat, but he could not scent them for his nose was buried deep in his fur. He wanted to ignore them, but something was pleading with him that he shouldn't. He silently scolded himself but looked up suddenly as he heard a soft purr. He knew something changed in the den when the cat entered. His wide green eyes gazed up at her for a moment. It was almost as if he was frozen in place, could this really be happening? A cat actually liked him. No cat had ever liked him before apart from his mother, who seemed to like him a little too much as mothers did. His eyes softened weakly and he too found himself purring. A cat actually liked him. Unbelieveable. And it wasn't just any cat, it was Whitestar, beautiful Whitestar.

Whitestar purred even louder as Silentwrath joined in. She rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes happily. She contemplated briefly what she would do if any cat were to walk into the den and ruin this moment. She wouldn't be happy, that was for sure. But now wasn't the time to think about that. Her smile grew, and she curled her snowy tail around Silenwrath's, letting all of her worries evaporate into nothingness.

Silentwrath lay there with Whitestar inwardly chuffed with himself. He curled his dusty grey tail around her soft white pelt as they purred in unison, creating a sort of symphony or love. He almost choked himself on how soft he was being, but his heart had been won by a she-cat, a she-cat who actually liked him. He was not used to being liked by anyone, let alone pretty she-cats. When the white she-cat raised her head again and met his eyes, he knew it was time. He padded out of the den by her side and watched as she padded to the center of camp.
POST FOR CLOUDY:
Whitestar left Silentwrath's side regretfully and stood in the center of camp. An ear splitting yowl sounded from her soft white maw to call her clan together. "Tempestclan!" She yowled clearly. "It is now that we leave!" She continued and looked at all the cats around her, fearing that maybe any of her clan would die in this battle. It especially could not be Silentwrath, she would do what she could to protect him with her lives, and the same for every member of Tempestclan. With a purposful stalk she made for the exit to camp, but how many would return?

At the sound of Whitestar's sharp yowl she snapped back to her senses, whipping her head to where the leader stood at the head of her clan, Silentwrath absurdly close to her side. She was beginning to get the idea there was something up there, but she had no time to make any snarky comments, instead a rush of exhilaration filled her young apprentice body. On large, stark white paws she pushed her way forward, the night suddenly seeming to vibrate with anticipation from the tenseness and chatter of the TempestClan. She narrowed her olive green lights, grinning at the thought of smearing MaliceClan blood all over their own battleground. Tonight they would be victorious, she was positive of it, and the clans would get venegance. [/blockquote]

Granitepaw knew that her leader probably wouldn't approve, but she didn't care, she only wanted to get out of here and help the clans. Inching toward the entrance to camp she looked around warily until she knew no one was looking and bolted after Whitestar and the other warriors. She didn't care if she came back, as long as she died with honor fighting for her clan.
