Sombersnow briefly pointed with her claw where he was to go and acopanied him there. She brought her paw up to threaten a blow to the skull if she caught him trying to chat Thistlebloom up. She grabbed a pile of moss and dropped it in the corner for him to sort himself. "Yowl if you get hungry, and don't even consider bothering Echowish." She meowed. Her tone commanded attention and agreement, but for once she did not wait around for it. Echowish was not around, she would be told when she returned. Turning she left the den and padded back over to where Whitestar stood. "Thistlebloom seems to be a little too friendly towards him." She mumbled in her ear, keeping the comment between them. Her eyes narrowed at his scent which would linger in camp, but she could always make him roll in fox dung then give him a bath by dropping him in the lake. Stupid tom.

"I'll try to be non-existent." He joked, curling up on the moss he tried to get some sleep. Thundy's thoughts instantly turned to Petal and tears silently fell from his eyes.

harmony<3 she fought the arge to slam her paw down on his little skull, he was just so darn charming! harmonydance let the corner of her lip rise into a half smile. as they looked into each other's orbs, there seemed to be a connection, one she couldn't quite explain. did twistersoul have this effect on every she-cat? probably. he was quite gorgeous but he was just so uggg. it was just impossible for them to actually have a real love. then again, why question such a beautiful face? harmony heard twister say, she turned to him, a look of mere contemplation on her face. why was he trying to melt her heart? why are you trying to do? harmonydance gasped, she didn't mean to say that thought aloud.

Whitestar nodded slightly, and muttered back to Sombersnow, "Better keep them apart then. We don't want any cats on that tom's side." Padding over to Thistlebloom, she meowed to the she-cat, "Shouldn't you be hunting or something? The Clan always needs fresh-kill." Turning away before Thistlebloom could answer the white-furred leader padded towards the camp entrance, to prove her point. Hunting would take her mind off everything else, anyway.
Whitestar to terra.

A hiss of rage escaped her jaws as she stomped around the base of the willow, slamming each paw down forcefully in a display of immaturity. Quite purposely she sent a pointed rock flying with a swipe of her forepaw, not bothering to wince at the slight pain it created in her pawpad. "Oh, it'll be fine in a few weeks," she sung to the camp in a mocking rendition of Echowish's feathery voice, "Oh, just don't put too much weight on it!"
"I'll put weight on it if I damn well please." she growled under her breath, enjoying the adrenaline rush from cursing unnecessarily. She came to a halt and shook her left hind leg rapidly, knowing full well it wouldn't heal the pain. During the gathering - a whole fricking two moons ago! - a massive MaliceClan tom had caught her off guard and squashed her beneath his muscular bulk. She had managed to writhe enough to escape, but he had landed directly on her leg, crippling it temporarily. At least, she had thought it'd be temporarily.
She sulked, swiping her tongue over the injured limb, and then the rage returned. She'd find that bloody oaf at the next battle, make sure to score his pelt thoroughly with her sharpened claws. Her ears perked up at a commotion; normally she didn't pay any attention to this sort of stuff, but there was a peculiar smell wafting about. No way, it almost reminded her of...MaliceClan?
She narrowed her olive green eyes and dragged herself closer to get a better look. Sure enough, the fur was flying between Whitestar and an utterly huge tom, his thighs jutting out from his otherwise normal frame. It was actually kind of..gross. But he wasn't the tom who had smashed her, and she quickly grew bored with this until she noticed Sombersnow, arrogant and snooty as always, leading the cat into a vacant den. Kindlepaw's eyes lit up - a prisoner? She didn't care if he wasn't the right tom, any MaliceClan cat, retired or not, was the perfect canidate for a verbal lashing.
Casually she strolled to the entrance, careful to wait until Sombersnow was out of sight and to conceal her weakness. "Hello tom." she meowed, trying to sound as bored as possible. Good StarClan he was ugly. Flabby or fit, those thighs were just not appealing. [/blockquote]

Sombersnow narrowed her eyes as she watched an apprentice slip into the medicine cats den. With a snarl she stalked after her and pushed her way into the den to see her trying to make conversation with the prisoner. "He gets no visitors, unless you want to be cleaning out the elders den for the next moon then I advise you clear off and do something useful for once in a while." She hissed at the stuck up apprentice. The apprentice's now adays were only too afraid to get their precious paws dirty. Never putting in enough effort. Her eyes narrowed at the tom as she took a seat, she would have to keep a closer eye on him than he thought, too many untrustworthy cats around.

Softly, Driftingice cleared her throat, a rough sound, but its muted sound gentled it, and her big blinking eyes lit up her face, with the approaching morning. The beginning of a beauiful day. Dawn's soft rays of liquid golden kissing each cat's pelt, flooding the camp with warmth of the rising sun's power, the celestial body hovered through the trees, sending messanger rays of her arrival. "Thank you Whitestar, bring all your warriors to the next gathering, if you will. If I'm not mistaken, that is when we attack. You've been kind, thank you. But dawn approaches, I have to go. Good bye TempestClan, see you in several days." She meowed softly, knowing by now no one heard her. TempestClan was bustling into life once more, and the foreign white she-cat was lost. Softly sighing, Driftingice swerved and ducked out of camp, creeping along until she made it to the meadow, and burst into a full, exhilarating run.

Pawsteps thudded into the den, and Kindlepaw's ears flattened against her skull in annoyance. Apparently Sombersnow had been lingering this whole time, so intent on protecting her precious prisoner, was she? She let her lip curl up over her pointed ivories and kept her back disrespectfully to the warrior as she chewed her out, issuing empty threats of having to clean the elder's den. Oh no, not something I can easily skip out on! she laughed inwardly, then parted her maw to actually speak. "And since when did Whitestar die and leave you in charge? Funny, it's like you think bossing people around is going to get you somewhere in life." Satisfied with this blow, she let a smirk creep onto her calico features. Then again, it probably wasn't worth sticking around just to talk to the flabby prisoner. Sombersnow would most likely beat the tar out of her.
"Well whatever," she meowed casually, "This tub of lard isn't particularly exciting anyways. Ta ta!" She pranced off, finding it surprisingly easy to conceal her temporarily crippled leg. Perhaps it was healing after all. [/blockquote]

Hearing small paw steps approach him he looked. Seeing an apprentice before him he got really confused, if anything he thought is would be Thistlebloom. Then Somebersnow drifted in, and the 2 started fighting, he just rolled his eyes and went back into his mind. Tears started welling in his eyes as he thought about the battle that will come shortly and how they may or may not kill Petal and he might never get to see his kits again. He let the tears fall to the ground silently, and eventually fell asleep still crying.

Whitestar paused at the entrance to the camp. There was no time for hunting. Duh. Padding back to the center of camp, she yowled without warning, "TempestClan! We are to fight against MaliceClan, united with the other three Clans. We will drive that bunch of rogues out of here forever! Cats who can fight, gather round. We need all the fighters we can get." She paused and padded over to Sombersnow. "We can't trust the prisoner to fight on our side, but we will need a guard for him if he is to stay in camp during the battle. Can you find someone who won't be fighting?" she asked, then turned back around and waited for her Clan to assemble.

Thunderthighs bolted up to Whitestar. "Please let me fight." He pleaded. "I need this, otherwise I will never forgive myself. I need to fight, and I need to find my mate. Please." He gazed at the leader with as much sorrow as possible. He needed this.

Casting a sideways glower at Thunderthighs and his pitiful pleas, she shoved her way through the crowd barbarously, tail lashing and olive green lights still narrowed in disgust at Sombersnow. As tempting as it was to make more little sarcastic quips and then dance out of harm's way, sadly there was more important things to take care of. "Yeah, count me in." she mumbled, tomboyish voice monotone and unimpressed, but secretly she was looking forward to giving those MaliceClan brutes a good wallop. One fatty in particular would learn not to go plunking himself down on apprentices' back legs.
For a second the masquerade faded, and reality rushed in like a wave of frigid ice water. This wasn't just fooling around, she would be dealing with hardcore killers. Beasts that would snap their necks like twigs. But then the feverish immaturity returned, and it didn't matter. No way she would shy away from a battle. [/blockquote]

Sombersnow aimed a blow at the pathetic tom. "Maybe we wont hurt your mate, but you can not be trusted to fight with us, maybe Whitestar will make some agreement to keep your mate safe from any harm?" She suggested, in a bore tone. Then turned and padded over to Silentwrath. "Can you guard the prisoner." She asked as innocently as possible. Really she was laughing inside, if it wouldn't have given her away totally she would have been rolling around on the ground chuckling till her heart was content.
Silentwrath snarled outraged and lifted a paw nad aimed to smashg it into Sombersnow. A smirk played upon his maw as Sombersnow was taken by surprise and sent hurtling across camp. "Why you little!" She screeched and lunged at him. Silentwrath stepped aside and pinned her to the ground, digging his hind legs hard into her belly. His grey paws were hidden by the mass of white fur.
Sombersnow gasped as the air was knocked from her, with all the strenght she could bring together she kicked and was satisfied to see Silentwrath be sent flying, but she was not satisfied to see him land on all four paws. "Calm down." She hissed through bared teeth. "You really do have some anger problems don't you." she snarled and charged at him.

Whitestar growled at the fighting cats, "Stop it you two! Sombersnow, I don't expect to see that ever again. If you need something to do, go round up all the cats out of camp who can fight in this battle. And Silentwrath, you shouldn't have let your temper go like that, but Sombersnow was wrong to wind you up like that." The leader had seen what happened, and she was a little surprised to find herself on Silentwrath's side. She didn't want to show herself to be biased in his favour, but there was no time for punishments. "There'll be plenty of time for fighting soon enough. And at least then it'll be for a good cause." Her gaze swept the camp. It looked like quite a lot of the Clan were either out of camp or in their dens.

Squee-- The squeak was cut short by teeth plunging into the large vein, and the spine. The life was ceased and small tang of blood drew into Wolfcry's maw. She licked the wound on the mouse and made sure no more precious blood was spilled from it. She then picked it up again and began her trot home, remembering she had a bird to pick up on the way. Wolfcry's mouth watered helplessly with the mouse in her jaws. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until the delicious scents of fresh-kill filled her maw and scent glandes. Wolfcry tried to push the hunger out of her mind as she bent down her large, silver head to pick up the bird she'd killed as well. This was going to drive her over the egde. She started to run with her swift body slicing through the air like a double-egded sword coming down on it's victim.
As she reached camp, Wolfcry witnessed Silentwrath and Sombersnow clash. She rolled her perfect, sapphire eyes and continued to the fresh-kill pile. She dropped both her catches and wondered if she had missed something. Everyone seemed excited, almost jumpy with anticipation. Confusion clouded her eyes, and she noticed Whitestar's feirce voice directed at Sombersnow and Silentwrath. Wolfcry almost wanted to curl her lip. Sombersnow was never one of her favorite warriors. She was so controlling, acting as if she was almost leader. Wolfcry felt like clawing some sense into her, but she didn't, she knew better. She shook her thoughts and trotted over to Whitestar.
"Evening, Whitestar," she greeted her leader with a dip of her silver head. She looked around once, her ear twitched. "Did I miss something while I was hunting?" the deputy asked, not remembering anything important said when she had been in camp earlier. Wolfcry's sapphire eyes ended their search on a tom, in the medicine cat den. "Who is the tom? He smells of Malice," she said, wrinkling her nose. She knew it was faint, but she hated the smell either way. Fresh or not. She looked back to Whitestar, waiting for orders, an explanation, anything.
