Serenewinter blinked in surprise as she felt a tail that was not hers brush her side, it was Darkfog's. The corners of her maw twitched slightly, she was right, there was some good in him, now to show everybody else that there was. Her head whipped up to look at Abysspaw, and her head tilted to the side. "Maybe once I find my apprentice we could do some training together later." She meowed to Abysspaw in her sweet nonchalant meow. She flicked Darkfog lightly on the ear and somehow tried to manage pleasing both cats.

Stopping abruptly as he heard Abysspaw's words he watched her plop to the ground. Rolling his eyes he turned towards her. Shrugging it off he let his eyes rest upon her. "If you think insulting me is going to get you anywhere its not. It'll only put you further back. Now if you want to complain we can go check borders and I can explain to you what everything is? Would you like that? Or should we act decently and work at fighting?" His voice was calm. Mono-tone. No expression or emotions added to it. Looking back towards Serenewinter he nodded. "That'd be great. A little one on one with those two to let them experiment would be excellent." Waiting for Abysspaw to get up he flicked his tail absentmindedly.

Abysspaw straightened, feeling telled welling up, stinging in her throat like a great lump. She wanted to be feminine and nasty and run to him and blubber all over him and Serenewinter, but, almost laughing at this thought, swallowed down the soppy tears and let a smile light her face. "Thank you, it's good to know you speak," She meowed, still fiesty. He didn't know it, but he was showing emotions. He didn't sulkily let her leave, and that, in itself, pleased her, even if his mildly stinging wordly burned her. But only slightly, not enough to upset her.

Serenewinter nodded. "I don't know where he is right now, but I told him to meet me at the training hollow when he was ready, not that I have all day of course." She meowed with a light sigh. "Got his head in the clouds." She meowed more quietly then realised she still had company flashed her fangs in a smile and turned with a flick of he tail. "Shall we?" She asked tilting her head sweetly to the side. She looked at Abysspaw out of the corner of her eye, were they thinking the same thing? Was she as determined to show Darkfog that he wasn't as much of a sulker as he thought he was aswell?

//s'kay xD mine will be too
her eyes fluttered closed for a moment and images of cute little bundles running around appeared. it sounded nice, joyous, but then she could feel the pain that would also come with that. there she hesitated, but northy wanted them so badly. it would hurt him to heart his mate say no. dustedrose wanted them as well, knowing the outcome would be much better than the sacrifice being worse. "kits." she purred softly, nudging her muzzle against northwind's.

Slowly, but steadily, a smile wove its way over his broad muzzle, showing several sharp flashes of teeth as it widened. It now shown in his big, luminescent forest green pools, they sparkled with pleasure and immensce happiness. She wanted kits too! Oh, a family, it was what Northwind had wanted all along. Had he ever known it? Not since he declared himself to Lostdesire back then, and then they just.. blossomed. Kits! northwind wanted to leap in the joy and shout, but he didn't, he only laughed happily, closing his eyes and chuckling. "Yes, kits Dusty!" He purred, "Just think of them, dancing about and tripping over their own fluffy paws, just like you and me used to," Northwind drew his claw down her shoulder fur, stroking her slowly.

"Well. Since we're short of your apprentice Serenewinter let us just work on hunting today instead?" His voice rumbled deeply in a questioning manner. But if you studied it you knew better then to suggest anything else. He was barely wanting to train Abysspaw at all, let alone be told what to train her in. Glancing at Serenewinter and then to Abysspaw, Darkfog licked a paw and ran it over his ears and skull. He would wait for an answer from either of them before deciding to move so much as a muscle from here on out. Sitting like a statue he let his orbs bore into the frame of Abysspaw.

Lilythorn's ears twitched. The quiet was unnerving. The silence killed. "Mouse dung." she swore as she almost jumped out of her pelt. A single bird's call had frightened her. Lilythorn chuckled at herself. What she needed was someone to talk to, a real friend... Eclipseomen? No, she was too near her kitting. Northwind? No, he wasn't even really her friend, and he was always with Dustedrose. She quickly realized she had no friends. All she had done for the past two moons was sit around and sulk. It was time to grow up, and let a little of herself die. Lilythorn scented the air for any cats, and was disappointed to not scent any. She headed towards the camp, hoping she could talk to Lynxstar, or at least someone new.

She stared, bewildered, at her enormous snowy white paws. It seemed they had lead her here of their own accord, for the last thing she remembered was dozing off in the warriors' den. Maybe they were aching for solitude, but with a snort, she dismissed that thought. As if I haven't had enough of that lately. For a minute she let the conflicting and painful feelings sloshing around like rancid water in her stomach take over. She missed Northwind, there was simply no other way of putting it. Not out of jealousy, at least she didn't think so, but he was so preoccupied lately. So preoccupied with love, and his precious Dusty...
She flopped down and sulked, let the selfish feelings envelop her. It was almost comforting, soothing, to feel such bitterness after so many months of pushing it away...Snap out of it, Cloverspring! she tried to reason with herself, but somehow it wasn't worth it anymore. [/blockquote]

Her paw, large to cover ground fast, yet somehow dainty with grace flowing with each stolen step, tread upon the starkly rocky terrain, each movement injecting sharp pain into her rough gray paws as pepples pricked wickedly. "Cursed territory." The words could be heard being muttered from her slender maw with distaste so thick it could be sliced with a claw. "And I couldn't have been born in ZephyrClan with those nice, lush fileds and that grove of pine needle-y soft carpet? No, no of course not." But her sour words were all in good humor, she'd never choose another clan if she so had the choice. VertigoClan was the place she'd always stay. Bleeding paws or no. Wafting through the air like a reminiscent trail floated the clear scent of Cloverspring. Probably hutning, concluded Summerpath, her pastel pink button nose twitching at the essence, her pace quickening to find her friend, only to see the pretty gray frame messily blobbed up upon the ground, scowling. "Well well! You're obviously bent out of shape, you getting dramatic over Northwind too? He seems to be who VertigoClan revolves around nowadays. We got Lilythorn sulking, Dusty romancin', Radient preggo, Emeraldfire hating, and Northwind's just too dumb to notice anything at all! Ha! Sometimes that cocky boy could use a sound smack. What do you think? Unless I've calculated wrong and you're just grumpy over the lack of freshkill round camp, or, like our dearly faithful deputy, still mourning?" Sumerpath chuckled, scraping her forelimb over the rocky ground in Cloverspring's directing, therefor sending a blossom of dust to tuck in the grumpy warrior with a bedtime blanket.

Her ears pricked as a loud, raucous voice shattered the silence, first mumbling busily to herself, then directed at..her? Unconciously her bushy gray tail began swaying, and there was nothing the bitterness could do to stop it. She listened intently as the cat she eventually identified as Summerpath chattered on, slowly bringing Cloverspring to her senses. She still felt no need to unplaster herself from the jagged earth, but the slender she-cat was right, there was no sense in crying over Northwind and his stupid decisions. He was blind to everything but himself and his Dusty, and as distressing as it was, she was beginning to feel a need to wallop him over the head.
As she concluded this, nearly out of her reverie, a shower of dust splattered her lovely gray pelt and she leapt up, first instinct to snarl or hiss, but of course Cloverspring wasn't capable of that sort of hatred. Instead she shook her fur wildly, a new spark in her emerald eyes, scattering the powder everywhere. "You should have seen this coming, you little punk." she laughed, making sure to thoroughly diffuse the dust. [/blockquote]

"Hey!" The once-sleek warrior yowled, her expression that of mock hatred as she leapt forth to tackle her friend, curling her lip though her green lights sparkled with friendliness and good humor. The lean she-cat tumbled into Cloverspring, placing her large but graceful forepaws firmly upon the gray she-cats shoulders and pressing down, in an attempt to knock over Cloverspring before rolling away with a musical giggle, tumbling to a halt and leaping to her paws. Summerpath flashed Cloverspring a glance and shook out her thick tabby and white pelt, sending a cloud of dust into the air, she grinned and sat down to bathe. "You know," The warrior mewed absently between licks, "We could jump the guy on a dark night." She murmured casually, wrapping her tail about her paws securely, she concentrated on rasping her tougue over her silky pelt.

Trembling with fits of laughter, the ashy gray she-cat was caught off guard as Summerpath bowled into her, large but slender tabby frame sending her careening into the dust. Cloverspring batted at the air absentmindedly with unsheathed claws, not even glimpsing the other warrior as she ducked away neatly. Grinning lopsidedly she pushed herself up, planting stark white paws firmly on the earth. This really wasn't fair, it wasn't Summerpath's job to be around just to pull her out of the occasional funk. She'd have to make it up to her somehow, but right now not obsessing over Northwind and the drama that followed him around like a lonely kit would have to do.
A tiny spurt of laughter escaped as the tabby and white she-cat joked around, vibrant green orbs twinkling, but Cloverspring was sure that just like herself, Summerpath couldn't really do any harm to her brother. He was making some awfully insensitive decisions, but somehow that didn't prevent the big oaf from being any less loveable.
She followed suit, dragging a big pink tongue over her filthy soot-colored coat, and then stopped suddenly, ears flicking attentively. "Oops, Summerpath, I think something's going on back at camp. Nobody's out here any more." she mused, glancing around observantly. "Think we should go back?" [/blockquote]
