The grass swayed back in forth slowly, as if it were all just a dream. Everything was quiet, the sun barely lighting up the sky as it was dawn. Silence used to be uncomfortable for Harmonydance, now she cherished every moment of it. One step, two step, and sidestep. Harmonydance's paws moved at that rythym. Usually it was a different rythym every time, she liked to make up rythyms. Spotting a field mouse, the she-cat swiftly dropped down, her belly fur brushing the grass. Harmonydance crept foward until she was about two tail-lengths away from the creature. In one slick move, she leaped foward and bit its neck before it could do anything. Harmonydance picked up the mouse with satisfaction and burried it under a small holly bush. The soft breeze seemed to whisper in Harmonydance's ears, and it made her feel peaceful inside. She hoped nothing would ever break this moment.

Oh but her day would be ruined. Maybe not ruined but definitely interrupted. Stalking the she-cats, like they stalked prey, was his job. So far the she-cat that had caught his eye was Harmonydance. The beautiful she had caught his attention for the day. Every day it seemed that Twistersoul was following a different she-cat around. What could he say? They caught his eye and he wanted them. Not that he wanted kits, no he just wanted to flirt. In a sense he was playing hard to get. But he wasn't playing hard to get, no that was a she-cats game. He just flirted and then left them hanging. It was a game he played often. Why he did he didn't know. Or he didn't tell anybody. In all truth Twistersoul was afraid of commitment. Long term commitment anyways. He'd be tied down and he just couldn't live like that. Life wasn't life without being wild like the wind, letting it lead your soul. His mother had named him well, twister...wild and unruly, disastrous. It was just like him as a kit. He was never in one spot, he always caused trouble. Following Harmonydance's movements he dropped his haunches, watching as she quickly pounced on the mouse and killed it. Giving a jump he aimed to pin her, his paws on her shoulders. His wicked yellow fire eyes stared into hers.
"Nice catch doll. but mine is better. ",

There goes my day... Harmonydance's normally serene green eyes blazed with fire as she started into Twistersoul's alluring yellow eyes. No, Harmonydance didn't like the player, but his eyes did attract her. Mouse-dung. She was forced to talk to him. "Twistersoul.." Harmonydance mumbled shyly, letting a bit of anger enter her voice tone. She wiggled, trying to escape his grasp. Eyes staring at the grey sky above her, Harmonydance was angry and uncomfortable. Twistersoul was knowing for playing the she-cats. Irritating, but hard to resist. "What do you want from me?" Harmonydance mewed with experation, turning her gaze to his and staring fiercely into it. Uncomfortable under Twistersoul's piercing gaze, the she-cat tryed to pry her eyes away and get away from this fiesty tom.

Listening to her words he couldn't help but roll his eyes. She was such a shy she-cat, obviously not like the rest. The rest of the she-cats were halfway decent, at least they had the mind to flirt back. Sighing as he rolled his eyes he watched her struggle beneath him and couldn't help but now laugh. His deep laugh penetrated the still air. "Mmmmm. Nothing. "Shaking his skull from side to side he nimbly moved his paws from her shoulders. HIs tail flicked itself across her nose for a moment as he began to pad away. He didn't want to deal with a she-cat who had no clue what fun was. Or was this shy. He didn't feel comfortable around the shy, she-cats of Tempestclan. He didn't get why they were even here in Tempestclan. If Tearstar had her way of accepting members, Twistersoul was sure that shy would not fit the members of Tempestclan. They were the fierce clan of the forest, not the shy conserved quiet clan. Giving a half hearted sigh as he took another paw-step away he stopped in his tracks. He was reluctant to leave, though he knew that it might be the right thing to do.

Harmonydance sighed with relief as the flirtacious tom got up. "Pleh!" She spit out hair as his tail smacked her mouth. As he walked away her eyes blazed with fire but simmered down as she heard his half-hearted sigh. Don't fall for that-that pity game!" Harmonydance scolded herself. Oh, he left because he knew there was no chance of getting her. Ha, wimp. I'll tell him!" Harmonydance was all fired up, he thought he could push her around! Catching up to Twistersoul, Harmonydance tightened her jaw. "So, you leave and whine when you find out that I'm not interested? Ha, trying to play the keep-me-hanging-game?" Harmonydance heard a small voice inside her saying, No! This is exactly what he wanted you to do! Oh great. Harmonydance was angry at herself. Falling to the trick. I can be so mouse-brained sometimes!" Yet, Harmonydance didn't like the tom one bit, yet. She accidentally flirted, a bad, bad mistake. No, I'm not running away this time, I'm going to face my fears. Mom and Dad wouldn't want me to hide." She told her self determindedly, turning to Twistersoul boldly.

Hearing her reaction to his tail hitting her mouth he couldn't help but give a soft laugh. His auds twisted and caught the sound of her pawsteps heading his way. She was being awfully pushy for him to not leave. Hearing her words he couldn't help but raise one 'eyebrow' in a questioning manner. Her words were the ones he was looking for. She seemed so not interested, and yet here she was harassing him. Tsk-tsk. She-cats these days, so indecisive....almost terrible to have around. Blinking quickly he couldn't help but start laughing uncontrollably. "You think I'm leaving because you're not interested........Or is it because I'm not. I start to leave, and you stop me.....who's interested in who doll? Who's interested in who...." His voice was level and questioning. Flicking his tail in good-bye he nimbly moved around her. His stilts moved slowly, his paws hitting the ground in a with a soft thud. Slowly but surely he moved further and further away from the she-cat Harmonydance. He didn't know how to deal with her, it really was a question of who's interested in who.

Harmonydance snorted as he raised one of his 'eyebrows'. Watching him body language carefully, the she-cat could feel the tension crackling in the air. All was quiet until the tom began laughing uncontrollably, which made Harmonydance jump. This time, though, her 'eyebrows' raised in a "You dared?" manner as her stormy green eyes narrowed into slits. "Who's interested in who?" Harmonydance mewed, trying to keep her tone crisp though it was laced with fury. Twistersoul very well knew how to get her fired up, well it was more that he just angered her completely and he knew it. As the tom moved away from her Harmonydance whipped around and padded in the opposite direction. Oh, two could play at this game. What exactly am I getting myself into? Harmonydance's own voice asked herself inwardly. For some reason, she couldn't figure out the answer to that question.
