Oh yes, bios are dreaded but yes, they are required, no acceptions. When creating your character, make sure they are different and unique. No cat is perfect, so please, no Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Please read that whole article. Admins will not accept these, and you will be asked to change them. Now, shall we go over the basic parts of a bio?
Name: The name, yes the name. It is what wholy defines your character. Make sure your name is exotic and unique. Generic names are a no-no. Stay far away from names like Bravesoul and Shadowheart. Nightclaw and Stripetail, you know, who would want that anyway? Think of all the different ways you can name a cat, all the different plants, animals, and characteristic that so much better suit them than 'Spotpelt'. If you really must, though, you can start with a generic name and change it later.
Gender: Simple and quick; toms are male, she-cats are female. No other choices.
Clan: Choose one of the four clans that suits their personality the most.
Age: Simple enough, in moons, make sure your 'warrior' is only than ten moons, 18 is good enough.
Rank: Simple. Warrior, Apprentice, Kit, Queen, Medicine Cat, Deputy, Leader.
Pelt and Build: Now, Anarchy has no expectations on the length of this description, but you should try and make it long as you can, but don't just drone on about it, describe your cat in detail. At how the cat is structurally built, long long the fur is, patterns and colors of fur, length of limbs, length of tail, characteristics; i.e. A limp, grace, beauty, chronic ear twitch. Be creative with this, go wild.
Personality: Now, like I mentioned before, your cat isn't perfect, let's face that fact above all else. Let us think of some flaws for a moment. Have one? Good, now type it down in an elegant and sophisticated way, surrounded by the cat's habits, feelings, and tendancies. Let's not do a list; Loving, Nice, Caring. You know, those are old and boring. Make it fun and interesting, you're nearly finished!
Experiance: Now, the past is optional, so if you're feeling a bit lazy, go ahead and keep this black in the slot, otherwise, go crazy with it! The past and history can be a fun thing, like writing a mini-book, you can fill it out by age, or by important events, it doesn't matter how, just make sure readers know why the cat the way he/she is.
