Short Description:
Age: Thirty-six
Gender: She-cat
Desired Position: Warrior
Short Description:
A golden-brown tabby she-cat with brilliant green-gold optics and a shy attitude.Description:
Starting at the head, the feature points are her eyes, her tall, pointed ears, and her short, snow white whiskers. Her deep green optics are the color of mixed dead and live pine needles on the fallen TempestClan floor, golden brown and deep green. The shine brightly and help with her personality. In the sunlight, they golden brown flecks are much more recognizable than when she is in the shadows or it's just a cloudy day. When there is no gold to be seen, the eye color is a deep, majestic green. Her ears are long, tall, and pointed, with small tufts of fur sprouting from the tops. The inside lines of her ears follow straight up to the top, but the outside curvature of the ears begin to curve inward to form the point. The very topmost parts of her ears are a light black color, as are the tufts of fur with some mixed in browns. Her whiskers sprout from her maw, long wisps of brilliant pearl white. They are the brightest color from everywhere on her body, and frame her face in a beautiful way.Personality:
The coloration of Goldensplash's face is darker near the back of her forehead and grows lighter as you work toward her muzzle and maw. The back of her head is made up of thick, black tabby stripes where the golden brown color can hardly become distinguished. The backs of her ears are easily seen, for the thick, black stripes are only in the middle. Surrounding those stripes are lighter colored browns and tans, which race their way up to her ears, ending in two small black spots at the tops of both her ears. In the sunlight, the top of her head and moving to the bridge of her nose look more golden brown than black, but the black stripes are there and are easily seen in the shadows. Although the dark brown and black stripes are thinner, they're still noticeable on her small face. Inside the striping are different mixtures of browns, tans, and cream colors.
Moving to the bridge of her nose, the colors are small but seen. The thick, almost gray looking stripe comes forward from the middle of her forehead and comes to the middle of the bridge of the nose where it is soon cut off and turned into a solid, brown color where a small, lighter brown is seen at the tip of her nose. Her nose is a dark pink, almost salmon color, with dark brown found on the edges of both sides of her nose. The dark brown evens out to a ginger color, which spreads its way to her cheeks. Her cheeks are a mix of russet, ginger stripes mixed in with a dull cream. S small dark brown, almost red stripe runs from the top corner of her eye, where it soon dissolves back with the darker colors of her neck. Her chin and lower throat area are a nice, even cream color which then evens out as you reach her cheat area, to mix with different ginger and brown stripes.
A very lean and lithe cat indeed, Goldensplash is fit for a VertigoClan cat. Muscles are hidden beneath her shortened pelt, not easily seen unless she is moving. Your eyes move from her face and head to the front of her stripe-kissed bodice. There is one ginger-red stripe that fits right under her chin, and after that spills out a cream color, which soon starts to mix with golden-brown and ginger stripes. The front part of her body is definitely the lighter part from her back part of the body. Working your eyes from her chest, which is filled with lovely, light colored stripes, that seem every opaque, blending in easily with one another, you reach the beginning of her forelegs. Her forelegs are darker than her chest area, but still hold the tabby striping. The base coloring of her legs is a darker cream color, and from that color, you see that there are two dark brown stripes, one right above the other, with some lighter brown in between, the top skinnier than the larger, thicker bottom stripe. After that, the dark, gray-cream color returns and soon begins to mix with ginger and brown spots and stripes, finally ending on her forepaws, which are a lighter brown color. She has sharp claws that easily slide out if needed.
So, we’ve done the face and the front of her body, but what about her sides and her back? Well, from her thickly striped neck, the she-cats thick, bold striping continued along the length of her spine, and the darkness spreads right along with it. Her haunches and the whole lower half of her back are so thickly striped with black, that the ginger that sprouts up from under it looks red. Her tail follows the whole dark striped pattern, although the dark stripes, still thick, are evenly spread out between one another is a light brown and ginger color. The tip of the tail looks as if it were dipped in the darkest night colored paint there is, small white fur showing, looking like bright stars. Her hind legs are the same color as her back, darkly striped, but more ginger stripes are shown. You look at her sides, which are evenly striped, even though the stripes are spread out. The main coloration of the fur is a light brown with intricate swirling and striping of dark and light gingers.
It all works out to make the most perfect body for a not-so perfect she-cat. One who lives and thrives in VertigoClan proudly. She keeps her pelt well maintained and accepts all compliments thrown out to her like a dirty dog bone.
Does Goldensplash have a heart of gold? No...Not really. This she-cat isn't perfect, but then again, what cat is? To start off, let's name her good side. The she-cat has a very motherly nature; keeping a close eye on all of the kits in the clan. Although she has no mate, she'll always want some bundles of fur for her to watch over and take pride in. She is a very proud cat; always sticking up for those she loves. She’s quite fussy over the kits, not favoring any of them, but she sure loves to spend time with them. She acts like a second mother to all of them, coming into the nursery and chatting happily with the queens and playing around with the kits. If they’ve done something wrong, she’ll scold them, and if they do something of a good nature, she is always the first to praise them.Experience:
She can be patient, but only to an extent. She can stay the most patient with kits and it just moves downhill from that. Apprentices…well, she really has a hard time staying patient with them, but she makes it through one day without managing to yell or hiss. With warriors, her patience is fair. She does like some more than others, but tries to hide it. With elders, oddly enough she can be quite patient. She does not enjoy their excessive groaning and complaining, but she realizes she’ll probably end up acting like that too, when she’s an elder. Toward the leader, deputy, and Medicine cat, Goldensplash keeps her emotions well hidden. She has yet to form a close bond to any of them, but wishes to. When she keeps her emotions well hidden, she can easily mask an emotion they’d like her to have on her face. She doesn’t like to voice her opinions in fear of upsetting another cat.
She’s a big softy, and she finds herself falling easily. She’s gullible and easy to persuade, hardly ever saying no. Having the big heart that she does, different cats seem to seek Goldensplash out for advice. But alas, sometimes the she-cat is one to put her advice in when it isn’t needed. She’ll suddenly appear next to a cat, maybe one that is having troubles with a relationship, or maybe sibling rivalry. She’ll always be there to voice a story of hers that could either fix a problem or annoy the cat to a breaking point. She has plenty of stories to tell about her past and her siblings, and isn’t afraid to pop up next to a cat and says what she thinks needs to be said. She can seem confident, but really, she just wants to help.
Dreamer. Simply put, Goldensplash is a dreamer. When she’s got time to herself, she’ll either settle herself in the warriors den to close her eyes, relax and think about different things or she’ll wander aimlessly around the territory, just letting her mind wander free. She’s kind of that free spirit in the camp, the one that’s always friendly, but seems really placid at the same time. Dreams keep her happy in her life as a warrior. She’ll always dream big, hoping she’ll accomplish something as a warrior. She’ll dream of being friends with the leader, deputy, medicine cat and all of the warriors, apprentice and kits, and she’ll try to make it happen. She likes to be on both sides of things, seeing the good and the bad. Just don’t ask her to help a situation, because she’ll find herself stressing out.
Being put on the spot is definitely not a good thing for this she-cat. Sure, she has good looks and kindness, but if she’s given a task, she’ll be a whirlwind of activity, racing around the camp like a madman. If there’s a small amount of time to get something done, she will freak out. Freaking out for Goldenheart is cutting herself out of everything. She won’t talk to anyone until her job is done. Being an organizational freak that she is, it isn’t hard to get things done, but she’s a procrastinator, and that’s truly not a good thing.
Holding things until the last minute is definitely not something she likes to do, but it just happens. Doesn’t it always with some cats? She tries to be organized, and she really is, but some things just slip through the cracks of her mind. You’ll find her flying around the camp, trying to get things done at the last minute, and she normally does. If she doesn’t get something done on time, you won’t find her moping around the camp; you’ll find her trying harder to get it done. She’s truly one hard-working, dedicated cat.
Born to a sickly mother, Goldenkit being the older of two other sisters, everyone knew she would be the one to take care of her siblings. Gingertail was sick at her labor, and she died a slow death. The kits were born, and she was still alive, to everyone’s surprise. She made it through three moons and after the kits had opened their eyes to the world, their mother got worse. Her sickness made her frail, and she gave little milk to all of her kits. Littlekit was the youngest and the runt of the litter, always the first kit to get milk when they were allowed. Littlekit was frail and sickly, just like her mother, but she made it until her mother’s death. After that, Littlekit grew sicker and frailer than ever, catching any kind of sickness that entered the camp. At four moons, she had gone to join StarClan.Picture:
It took a great toll on Goldenkit, being the motherly figure to both Whitekit and Littlekit. She took great care with Littlekit, and felt it was her fault for her sister’s death. It was her and Whitekit left alone in the nursery, and both deaths allowed their friendships to grow stronger. Whitekit was always at Goldenkit’s side, whether they were sleeping in the small nursery of if they were venturing out into camp together. They both promised to be by each others sides until one of them died. They would stay close to each other until they became apprentices and their friendship continued until they were warriors.
Both unable to wait for their apprentice ceremonies, Whitekit and Goldenkit practiced their hunting crouches and some small and easy battle moves in the middle of the clearing, always looking for some criticism in their moves. They were the only kits in the clan at the time and they both believed that they were considered everyone’s kits in the clans. She loved her clan, but she loved Whitekit the most out of all of them. She’d be found sitting in the corner of the camp, talking to Whitekit about pretty much anything, what cute warriors were in the clan, who were the nicest apprentices and warriors, what they thought about the leader and deputy. They were both inseparable.
Finally the big day arrived; they were both named apprentices, Goldenpaw with a mentor named Swiftstep and Whitepaw with her mentor, Streakpelt. Goldenpaw was blessed with a kind and, as her name suggested – fast – mentor whom she cherished very much. Whitepaw was given a young and boisterous mentor who was willing to work with Swiftstep and Goldenpaw. But, you see, things turned out a little less than they had expected. Swiftstep and Streakpelt had fallen for one another, and they seemed to be paying more attention to one another than to their apprentices. This easily allowed Whitepaw and Goldenpaw to sneak out of camp and teach each other things their mentors taught them when they weren’t ‘practicing’ with each other.
Well, the day finally came when there was a battle. It was a battle with TempestClan, no less. The four plus two other cats worked side-by-side to defeat TempestClan, but it left one VertigoClan body there. It was Swiftstep, and the loss of her mentor took a hard toll on Goldenpaw. They were both older apprentices, and Goldenpaw worked harder toward her Warrior ceremony, every catch dedicated to Swiftstep. Shortpaw and Whitepaw both helped their sister. They considered it a good way to thank her for everything she had helped them through.
On the day of their warrior ceremony, Whitepaw was given the name Whitenose, for her ginger striped pelt and the white fur around her nose. Shortpaw was given the name Shortwhisker for his short whiskers and pelt. Goldenheart was given the name Goldensplash for various reasons; her motherly attitude toward her sister, and all of the deaths she had to endure as a kit and an apprentice and for keeping strong through those tough times. Well, and her ginger and golden colored pelt. The night of her vigil was hard for Goldensplash because she wanted to talk to Whitenose and Shortwhisker, but she kept her mouth shut and made it through the night.
Now Goldensplash is a strong, loyal, motherly figure of VertigoClan who works hard for everything that is put in front of her. She still loves her sister and spends a lot of time with her.
