.Dewstar.
Green-gray eyes scanned the empty clearing. It was early morning but some cats had to be up. Oh well, he needed to do this right now so he didn't forget. The leader padded into the nursery and nodded to the two queens. They surely had remembered, right? Well, he was to remind them. He blinked to Shiverleaf and smiled gently. "It's time, their sixth moon," he meowed softly. "I hope Ivywhisper and yourself haven't forgotten," he purred with another small smile. "Clean them up and bring them out to the front of the high ledge when you're finished," the tom meowed.
Small, oval white paws exited the nursery and the lithe bodice of the leader stopped near the fresh-kill pile, his eyes raking the clearing once more. Surely other had to be getting up soon, yes? He continued over to the base of the high ledge and the tom tensed up, springing to the front of the jutted out rock. Ah it was warm. The tom smiled to himself and brought his head up to the cloudless sky, closing his eyes and allowing the warm light to spread across his pelt. His head snapped back toward the camp and he cleared his throat quietly. He stood up and with a flick of his tail, he opened his maw and let out a ringing yowl. "Cats of ZephyrClan!" the leader called. "Please gather below the high ledge for a clan meeting!" he meowed, quieter than his opening yowl. Dewstream sighed and added to himself, "It is time to allow six kits to step out of the nursery and into the world. Three of my kits..StarClan protect them all. Each of them, both Shiverleaf and Ivywhsiper's" This was just a whisper. No one would have heard it. StarClan, hopefully, but he had grown fond of all six of the kits. After the attack and the stolen kits..he had been, well, quite happy that they had come back. He sighed and his whiskers twitched as he imagined six little bouncing kits coming out of the nursery, their mothers still trying to lick their untamed fur which they seemed to have mussed up as the exited the nursery. He sighed and waited. He would be patient.

Meadowstream poked her head out of the nursery, her green orbs peering around casually. Her large belly was near touching thr ground, or maybe it was only herself who thought that. She looked back over her shoulder to the two queens that resided with her. "You have a handful dont you? Six of them. Do you need any help with anything?" she asked kindly, her eyes a light as she looked down at her own swollen tummy. Her own kits would be born soon. Hers and Fadedstripes. She smiled, her soft features shinning.
She flicked her small ears as Dewstar called out. She saw him sitting, waiting for his Clan to gather. Well today will be exciting, siz new apprentices! Maybe Fadedstripe will get one of them as his!" she thought to herseslf.

Hexmark strolled along ,over-joyed, tired, and hyper which she maintained on a daily basis. Sensitive ears perked up as incoming vibrations from her leader passed through her eardrum. A jolt of excitement flashed through her sleek figure as she made her way towards the gathering area. "Ah! It must be apprentice time!"She muttered happily to herself, while finding her friend upon his usual perch. Hex parked her bum close to Dewstar and called out in her usual good-natured tone," Morning boss!!! It's a big day today! You must be proud with your young ones becoming apprentices." How lovely it would be if Hexmark would have the honor of teaching one of those little tykes. Lately, life was better then ever with her new love affair and her awesome job as deputy. A new apprentice would be like icing on a cake, but even if she didn't get one she would be still very pleased that there were new future warriors in training. It was a sign that Zephyr Clan was getting stronger and that they were going to continue there time of peace for a little longer. As a strategist, hex knew these good times weren't going to last, but why not enjoy them?

Popping crisp minty green lights open at once, the sleepy soul roused slighty, but just that much; no more. No, today was a tired day, with yesterday having been completely napless, and on top of that he had been assigned to one patrol and voulenteered for another, it was rough. Not that the tom wasn't satisfied to help out ZephyrClan any time of day, but didn't that lend him a sweet break or reward which turned out to be an extra hour or two of sleeping? Apparently not. His eyes did not close once more, they didn't get the chance before the bass voice of Dewstar awakened him for good, well, at least for the time being. A nap lingered in his future. Rolling onto his belly, the slender tom warrior raised his rounded head from the nest, blinking the sleep from his bright eyes, and proceeded to clear his through while stretching his long limbs. No, he wasn't feeling all too graceful this early morning, since he hadn't gotten a chance to run yet. Yet. Later he would go for a good stretch, for sure. Pushing himself upwards, slowly of course, to ease the ache from his legs, then waved his tail thoroughly. The sable-patched ivory warrior then slipped quietly from the warrior's den to see other cats flood out around him, obviously they had been hoping they would get the late break too. Ah well. Fleetfoot blinking happily and dipped his head in greeting to Meadowstream as he seated himself beside her. "Wow, Meadow, you haven't popped yet? You will soon. I bet Fadedstripe is proud!" The friendly tom purred, smiling warmly towards the young pregnant she-cat.

The mostly black kit rolled onto his back with a grumble of sour noises. The muscles keeping his eyes closed tight slackened and a green color was now visible behind the black fur that had been hiding his eyes moments ago. He squinted in the dim light to see his surroundings before his eyes quickly grew used to the light. What had woken him up anyway? Then in a flurry of thought the kit's fur began to bristle, but not with the usual anger that you might find, actually it was with excitement. He would be able to leave the camp, he could actually set foot out of this prison and see the outdoors for once in his life. Ok, so he lived outside, not that he was allowed beyond the guard of this stupid camp. Not thinking to pause and check if his siblings and friends were awake he darted out of the nursery, without bothering to ask for permission first after all it didn't matter now that he was going to become an apprentice. Nocturnepaw, how handsome it sounded. Especially on a tall tom like him, with a slant in his eyes and a prowl in his walk. He snorted at this thought, whatever. Moving forward he sat below Dewstar, proudly moving through the gathered cats to sit right at the very front.

Light brown body moving swiftly, Coyotesong bounded out of the warriors den, eyes bright with excitement. New apprentices! Clan meeting! He sprang up and sat his butt down right next to Meadowstream, though he hadn't talked to the she-cat very much before. "Exciting day, eh?" he mewed good-naturedly, giving the she-cat a bright smile before gazing with excitement on the several young kits, about to be made into apprentices.
Two squirrels dangled from the scrawny warrior's jaws as she padded slowly into camp. Hunting had been successful, and her spirits were high as she set them down at the freshkill pile. It wasn't until then that she spotted several cats gathering in the center of camp, with Dewstar and Hexmark standing as if ready to address the Clan. Oh! Shiverleaf and Ivywhisper's kits are ready, aren't they? she wondered cheerfully, padding toward the meeting. She looked around for Whispercloud and Gossamerpaw but, not seeing either, sat down beside the cheerful nuisance Coyotesong.
