(sucky post! Beware!)
Glowing green eyes watched the tom settle down beside her. Hex knew he wouldn't try to violate her space. Unfortunetly the she cat had every intention on violating his. Hexmark rolled over and plopped her front half on him just like before, but with less weight. "well, we just got our kits back from delerium so there is a chance that they might steal them back."she replied quietly with a thoughtful expression. "I wouldn't worry too much, you have your fair deputy to protect you." Hex teased as her paw swatted his ear playfully. A warm smile played upon her face while her whiskers twitched happily. She could still feel her cheek burn from his lick."life is good." she mummbled to herself and rested her pretty head on his back comfortably. The deputy, without thinking, curled her handsome figure close to coyotesongs. A content sigh escaped her lips as she enjoyed the toms company. For some odd reason the she-cat could not sleep or close her wandering eyes. [/size]

((Be too ))
"My only interest is to protect my fair deputy," he mewed, lowering his head onto his forepaws and wondering if Delirium really would try to steal the kits again. This had been enough fighting! He hated fighting. Always had. This probably had to do with the fact that he was a poor fighter at best, and could never get angry enough to be very effective. Coyotesong liked hunting...and playing.
An "oof" escaped his lips as Hexmark flopped herself on top of him, but the sudden pressure was much welcome, and Coyotesong let himself release a contented purr. What a weird day this had been...and what a weird mood Hexmark seemed to be in. But he liked it. The lanky warrior flopped onto his side so he could twist his head to look at Hexmark. "Before you were talking about VertigoClan. Now you said Delirium. Are you making things up?" he mewed, surprising even himself with the fact that he had even been paying attention.

(super sucky! Stupid phone!)
Hexmark zoned in and out, while the night dominated the sky. A cresent moon served as a very small source of light, but many stars dotted the atmosphere. The good news is that hex was falling for coyotesong faster then she had expected. The bad news was that sleep was slowly consuming her. Coyotes pleasant voice filled her ears, waking her up a tad. Her nose pressed against his and a sweet purr was given," It is good to know that I have such a handsome protector."Sugary sweet words rolled off her tongue as she laid her heavy head upon his soft flank. Hexmark was taken by a odd surprise at his next question. She smiled at his impressive inquiry and answered cordially."Well, yes and no. No there hasn't been any reports of vertigo hostility towards us, but no doubt they are up to something. It is said that some of the vertigo she-cats have been having affairs with delerium toms, but that at the moment is a mere rumor."Hexmark shrugged and began to groom coyote randomly, but sweetly. At the moment vertigo clan was hardly a threat to her.She swept her tongue across his lithe body, starting with the top of his skull and ending halfway down his back. It was a surprise to see hex still awake.

"Humph," Coyotesong sighed, not quite believing her. But what did it matter to him? He was just a warrior...he'd fight when he was told to fight, and relax when he was told to relax. And right now he wanted to relax. Hexmark's rough tongue rasped across his fur, and a purr rumbled from Coyotesong's throat as his eyes closed. His limbs were heavy with tiredness, and his mind slowly became foggy with the coming of sleep. But...he really wasn't ready to fall asleep just yet.
"Tell me," he mewed quietly, tail-tip twitching in amusement as some memories popped into his mind, "You were a warrior before I was, and I recall capturing your tail several times while you were sleeping. Did it ever bug you?" He laughed lightly, for he remembered very well whether it bugged her or not. Although Sparrowflight and Whispercloud had given him the most drastic, angry response of all the cats, Hexmark had been entertaining to annoy, as well.
