Hexmark entered the zephyr clan camp with her dainty little head held high and a snake clutched between her powerful jaws. Long tail swayed as she happily deposited her kill and wandered about the camp. The warriors were busy with their work and Dewstar was probably snoozing in his den or visiting his kits. Speaking of kits, two little rascals came pouncing out of their branch constructed den and wrestled each other playfully. Hex portrayed a warm smile as she dipped her head their way and continued to find her special little place. The Deputy soon found a dry spot in front of the leaders meeting place with an abundant amount of sunshine. Hexmark quickly dropped her muscular body to the floor and sprawled out her limbs in different directions. "Now this is more like it." The she-cat purred as she basked in the suns rays and closed her eyes.

The young warrior was returning to the camp empty-pawed, having failed to catch the several rabbits that had shown themselves to him. What could he say? He wasn't in the mood to focus today. Then again...Coyotesong was rarely in the mood to focus. He bounded into camp in as high spirits as if he had caught a whole denful of prey, and his pale yellow eyes scanned the camp for any sign of a warrior to pick on. Hexmark! The warrior's eyes narrowed as he watched her, his tail lashing excitedly. The deputy was basking in the sun, so confident in her camp...thinking she was just so safe. Coyotesong chuckled in anticipation, then dropped into a hunting crouch.
Maybe he hadn't been able to focus on hunting rabbits, but...this particular cat could always focus on a prank. His long, lithe brown body slunk forward slowly, paw by paw, moving as lightly as possible so she wouldn't hear or feel him coming. His eyes were locked on her tail, his own lashing eagerly from side-to-side. He was a fox-length away...now a rabbit-hop...now a tail-length. He stopped when he was just behind her, wondering if she hadn't noticed his approach or if she were simply ignoring him. Either way, he wasn't going to quit now. Bunching his muscles, he wriggled his hindquarters rapidly before springing forward, paws set to land right on the deputy's tail as long as it didn't move....

As the sun grew hotter and hotter the more drowsy the she-cat became as she rested upon the earthen floor. Her furry lids concealed her green peepers while she drifted off into a deep sleep with fantastical dreams. Sugar plums danced in her head as she dreamed of ruling the world with a giant army of kittens and buff toms that obeyed her every command. Yea, life was great. Hexmark was so deeply locked into her sleep that she hardly noticed the Warrior sneak up on her. A comforted sigh escaped her lips as she continued to bask until she felt a disturbance with her tail. Beautiful green eyes shot wide open as she lunged her upper body in the air and yowled. "What in the world!!!" Hex turned her head to face the culprit and smiled devilishly. "Aye! You want to play do ya?" The she-cat laughed as she gathered herself on all fours to prepare an attack. Lower portion of Hexmark's body dropped in a crouch as she leaned her body weight on the hind-legs. Her body shot like a spring as she aimed to tackle Coyotesong playfully. It was a good thing Hexmark was in a good mood or the the tom would have been toast.

Bingo! He landed square on the tail, and was rewarded with a satisfying yowl from the startled deputy. Normally, most warriors hissed at him and then ran off to sulk, and so Coyotesong was sitting down to engage the deputy in conversation when he realized that she was not one of those cats. The young warrior only had time to widen his eyes and let out a little yowl of surprise before Hexmark sprang on him, knocking him clean off his paws and pinning him to the ground. What a good sport! he thought in amusement, even as he batted (claws sheathed, of course) at her belly in an attempt to scramble away. I commend thee, honorable deputy! He would have spoken this aloud, but the wind had been knocked out of him and it was all he could do to regain his breath. He flipped over onto his back and threw himself backwards, attempting to knock Hexmark from his back so he could bound away.

A giant smile formed on Hex's face as she gained pleasure from seeing the surprise on her attackers face. Sure she was the strong and almighty deputy, but hell she could be just as lazy and goofy as every other cat. A chuckle formed in the back of her throat as she batted his ears lightly with her paw. The deputy had no intention of hurting Coyotesong, but she was going to show him he wasn't the only joker in this clan. Feeling the other warrior start to struggle a bit more, Hex quickly leaped off the prankster and sat with giggles escaping her lips. "Why so surprised? You didn't think I would let you get away with assaulting my tail, did you?" Hexmark purred amusingly as her tail swayed to and fro randomly, while she watched the tom regain his upward position. "So? What are you up to? It is unnatural for one to be clowning around at this time in the morning."Her words were teasing, yet relaxed as they exited her vocal chambers. A cool breeze swept by the camp, running through the she-cats fur and shaking the branches. Today was an awful quiet day and their was simply nothing to do around the campsite. The patrols were out inspecting the area, the kits were playing in the sun joyfully, and the hunting parties were already set out to gather food. Though, Hex didn't remember taking her daily stroll about the territory to maintain her health, so she decided it was time to punish the Tom. "Come, For your punishment I'll force you to join me on a walk through the Zephyr clan territory...Unless you would like to clean the warriors den and bathe all the kits for the queens? I do remember one of them coming in contact with a skunk thins morning."Hexmark chuckled as she rose and sauntered toward the exit," You coming, kid?"She turned her skull his way and shouted in a good-mannerly fashion.

Coyotesong sprang lithely to his paws the moment he was released, eyes bright with mischievous respect. Few other warriors would take part in his playful teasing, and here was their proud deputy, tussling with him like they were both kits! "Unnatural? Clowning around?" he gasped in mock surprise, taking several pawsteps backwards. "What could you mean, Hexmark? I am not 'clowning around'. I am as serious as I could possibly be." He sat down and curled his tail around the paw, fixing the she-cat with a feigningly rebuking stare. "You were simply lying about like a great lumbering badger, so what was I to do? I had to awaken you before Dewstar noticed and decided to strip you of your title. You should be thanking me for my aid."
Coyotesong's long brown tail shot up at the mention of a walk, and he crinkled his nose at the very idea of licking a skunk-sprayed kit for even a moment. He hung his brown head in fake sorrow as he mewed in fake sadness, "I suppose I will bear the great weight of your punishment, Hexmark. We shall go on a walk." he glanced up at her with mischievous yellow eyes and hoped she knew he was joking.

Hexmark chuckled at the warriors horrible lying skills and looked back with a smirk. "Ha! As serious as a kit! Dewstar knows me too well to fire me for taking a little snooze, though I do thank you for the wake-up call."The she-cat boasted in high spirits now that she was in a hyperactive mood. Hexmark turned around and sat before coyotesong with her tail constricted around her body. Singular paw stretched foreward to place it's self upon the toms skull. "Oh come now, I lie! It should be a great pleasure to accompany your super awesome and may I say, very attractive deputy on a little stroll."Hex spoke in a teasing tone knowing that they were both just rambling on jokingly. The Deputy got up once more as she prepared for her much awaited walk. Her shoulders bumped into his lightly as she ushered him kindly to commence following her. The sun still maintained it's beautiful golden rays as the day continued slowly, but surely.

It was much too beautiful a day for Coyotesong to go on pretending he was sad. His ears pricked up and he padded happily after the deputy, lifting his gaze to the lovely, clear blue sky and purring a short purr of contentment. Perhaps they would find some rabbits on their walk, and he could make up for his lack of attention this morning. Or...maybe not.
"It is a lovely pleasure to be your escort on this fine, sunny morning, madame," he purred with false silkiness, taking a quick step sideways in case she decided to smack him over the ears once more. A cool breeze ruffled his fur and brought with it the heavy scent of field mouse. The warrior's stomach grumbled and, if he had succeeded in his hunting this morning, he might have suggested catching the mouse and eating it, as they were on a patrol. As it was, even lazy, slack-off Coyotesong wouldn't hunt and eat freshkill when he hadn't contributed any today. Glancing over at Hexmark, he wondered if she would suggest a quick hunt. They could bury the prey and keep on their way.

Hexmark continued on as her partner followed her without anymore delay, though it didn't matter much if there had been a delay or not. It was a good day to relax and just enjoy life as it came with a gentle breeze and plentiful sunshine. The she-cat gave a lopsided grin as he bounced around and continued to tease her. "And it is quite a pleasure to have such a kind escort!"The she-cat bantered back as she raised her head proudly and lessened her pace so she could walk at the tom's pace. Extensive fore-paw stretched to swat him gently, but he bounded out of her reach before she could land the blow. Mighty ears swerved to and fro as she heard birds chirping and a belly growling. Hexmark looked at him and gave a short laugh,"If you wish to hunt, go ahead. I rather talk to you than your stomach, coyotesong."Hexmark, though, had no interest in hunting, but she motioned over to a wide stream to quench her thirst. Beautiful skull dipped low as she lapped up a couple mouthfuls of water that tasted quite refreshing. A few droplets clung to her chin, but hexmark paid no attention and continued to drink.
(Sucky!)

Coyotesong didn't need a second offer; he sprang after the field mouse and caught it in a blink, snapping its neck with a single bite. Whoa! I'm, like, super-focused! he thought, staring at the mouse in amazement. Another mouse squeaked and scampered through the grass, and Coyotesong was after it immediately. He killed it with a quick blow with his paw, then carried it back to the other mouse. Then he sat down and stared at the freshkill. I can't just eat it. She told me I could, but she doesn't know I didn't bring any freshkill today. But I'm hungry! But...even apprentices know they can't eat before feeding the Clan... After a moment he stood up and scraped some dirt over the two small bodies. His conscious wouldn't let him eat this, so he decided to come back for it later, and padded back to Hexmark licking his lips as if he had eaten. "Shall we continue?" he mewed, flicking his tail and waiting for the deputy to continue to lead the way.

HexMark watched the young warrior as he swiftly caught two mice and stared at them for epoch. Why did he not eat? The female decided that he must have not caught anything for the clan and was now finishing his job as a warrior. It was good that he did not fall to the temptation of hunger, Hex pondered as she nodded her pretty little skull and smiled proudly. "If you wish." Her words we serene as she tranquilly began to walk onward. Sunshine continued to shower it's lovely rays while the she-cat studied her surroundings and enjoyed her walk. It was good to have a little company, not that she always wandered around alone, but Coyotesong was very good company. The Deputy chuckled to herself as a small lake or pond came into her view. It had grown hot, no doubt, and It was time to have a little more fun. "Do you like to swim, coyotesong?" Hexmark asked with a sly twinkle in her eye and excitement rolling off her tongue. With a quick bolt the gray cat leaped into the water and swam until she could rest her paws on the bottom and stand. "Come!!! The waters nice, that is, unless you rather be a little mouse and stay dry?" A playful yet tempting tone filled the air as Hex shouted out to the warrior.

With a yowl Coyotesong sprang backwards as Hexmark splashed into the water. Dozens of little water droplets flew towards him, soaking his face with its wetness. Coyotesong blinked the water out of his eyes and padded forward to the edge of the pond, water dripping from his whiskers. "My deputy is a dog," he gasped in mock horror, shaking his head as if ashamed of her. Flicking his tail, he turned around and made as if to walk away...then, with a yowl, spun around and leaped gracefully into the pond, landing with a giant splash that sent water flying everywhere. Clawing his way to the surface, he paddled over to Hexmark and circled her, mewing, "I'm no little mouse, fair deputy. I am as good as a duck." and with that, he dove under the water and swam around behind her, reaching out with his teeth to bite down on her tail.

Hexmark smirked as she saw the warrior turn around and stroll the other way. Little mouse hates the water I guess. Noble head withdrew underwater for a couple seconds, but when she returned to the surface their was a noisy yowl followed by a giant splash. Her Pretty green eyes grew wide as she looked shockingly at the tom that swam around her. Maybe he isn't such a mouse after all, Hex thought as she laughed loudly and swatted the water droplets that clung to her ears. Hexmark then watched coyote submerge underwater and pop up on the other side. she felt a little nibble in her tail and whipped around to catch the culprit. "You better watch duck or this dog will eat you for lunch."Hex giggled jokingly and leaped after the tom playfully. Water splashed everywhere as the she-cat romped around in the water, and yet making good use of her powerful leg muscles.

Coyotesong spluttered as Hexmark's romping sent wave after wave splashing into him. He wasn't as fast or strong as she was, and so he was left scrambling to get out of her way as she leaped after him. A particularly big wave splashed over his head, and he ducked under water, a quick thought leaping into his mischievous mind. Clawing his way back to the surface, he searched around for Hexmark, and spotting her, he threw his paws over her back and pulled his weight up on her back in an attempt to dunk her under water.

(OOC: Lmao!!! Sound like their trying to drown the hell out of each other, time to make it awkward with hex's stupidity!! xD)
IC: Hexmark rested her sculpted body for a moment while floating on top of the water. Was it natural for a cat to love water so much? Of course! Hex was a zephyr clan deputy, and water was her specialty. Every day since she was an apprentice she would take her walks down here to the pond and go for a little swim to beef up a bit. Eyes closed for epoch as she enjoyed the cool water swirl around her until a surprisingly large amount of weight hopped upon her back. Obviously the tom intended to dunk her, too bad he was messing with the wrong feline. Hexmark planted her hind paws on the bottom of the pond and used her strong legs to keep her dainty skull above the surface. With a powerful thrust upward with her legs she was able to push up and spin around to meet the tom face too face. Her eyes opened in surprise at the short distance that kept them apart, while her cute little nosed touched his. A wave a heat surged through her face that produced a tingly feeling in her cheeks and a emotion...known as embarrassment. Unconscious of her actions she pushed coyotesong back with a very good amount of force. "Holy crap! what the hell was that?"Hex thought to herself, poking her tail with her cheek. "Did I just ...Blush?" the deputy laughed loudly until it hit her that she rudely pushed coyote without a excuse. "Oh!!! I'm so sorry coyote!! I didn't mean to hurt you...I kind of did it without knowing...you see.."A giggle formed in her vocals, but the she-cat tried to best to conceal it. "You were a bit too close and ya made me blush!" She continued in a perky manner as she lifted her left fore-paw and poked the left side of her face. The tingle was still captured in her cheek, but it did not feel bad....actually it felt quite good!"Aye, that felt good-"Hexmark giggled like a little school girl as she continued to poke her cheek over and over. "Lets do it Again!!!!"Next hex gathered all her strength, but not quite her wits, and began to chase after coyote once more.
