After returning to his den, he had experienced minimal sleep, but that was his fault for staying up so late, or rather most of the night. OF course he had not been alone in that, beside him lay Spottedleaf. After patroling they had come back together, it had been nice to have someone next to him during the short sleep he had managed to get. It got lonely in his den all on his own, and it wasn't as warm or comfortable being on your own. Jumping to his paws and quickly stretching off his muscles, he blinked the sleep from his eyes. Today would be the day that he would finally announce Warcalling wasn't coming back. Slipping out of his den, he bunched his muscles and leaped up to his personal perch for addressing the clan. "Celestialclan! Gather one, gather all, as one life is mourned, another's is changed." He called. For a moment it was silent, there was no movement, nothing, but then he began to hear his clan stir, what it too early in the morning for them? Not if he had anything to do with it. He stood very tall upon his perch, as he waited for them all to appear out of their dens. It was tempting to stick his rough pink tongue out between his kissers and waggle it around, taunting his clan. But what would he taunt them with? Wasn't it obvious. He knew who the next deputy was. Or not. He could not mess around and taunt his clan, like he had with his friends in Tempestclan. What kind of leader would they think he was if he did that? It was no sort of way for a leader to behave. His eyes darted from cat to cat, searching for one in particular, without being too obvious.
------
The white and ginger she-cat was happily curled up in her nest, paws, ears and tail twitching, as although she was physically there, mentally she was with her family. She was laughing and playing, Ghoststar and her parents were even watching, as well as other Celestialclan cats that had passes on to Starclan. It was a happy time. Sadly though, she couldn't stay there, and the petite she-cat had a life to live, a life to make something off. Saying her goodbyes the cats faded and a very dim light began to seep through, touching her eyes. Blinking a few times to get used to it, she slipped out of the apprentices den where Icepaw and Blitzpaw also slept and looking up at Bengalstar she took a seat to the left of him.
------
He lay awake, with his paws tucked underneath him, licking the fur on his chest. He could tell a few others were awake by their stirring, but they didn't say anything, or decide to get up. He understood how they felt though, it was nice and warm in the den, and the fur of other's pressed against his, it was comforting and pleasant. Then his thoughts were disrupted by his leaders call. What could he be wanting? Was there a danger to the clan somewhere? Warcalling! Either the tom came back, with wasn't likely because there was no scent resembling the tom, or he was choosing a new deputy. Unless he had lost track of apprentices and their training some how, and one was ready to be made into a warrior, but he doubted that, after all he spoke to others in the clan a lot. Yawning he stumbled out into the clearing, ready to hear what Bengalstar had to say, careful not to step on any tails on his way out. At least it wasn't freezing because their camp was underground. "Morning Winterpaw." He purred and gave the young she-at a brotherly head-butt, before going to find his own space. It probably wouldn't be him, Bengalstar was the type to go for a muscular tom.
-----
A beautiful she-cat rose to her paws, shaking rapidly a few times to fluff her fur out, before opening her maw wide in a killer yawn. Her maw snapped gently shut and she surveyed the cats around her. "Well what's everyone waiting for? Bengalstar 'aint no spring chicken." She chuckled sweetly. She lightly tip-toed out of the den, light on her paws and easily avoiding the cats still lying down. It would have been nice to take a deep breath of fresh air as she exited the den, but she had gotten used to having to wait until she was sent out on a patrol. Obediently she sat below Bengalstar and curled her tail around her.

Spottedflower shook her pelt and took a deep breath, blinking her eyes closed and open again. Where was she? A wave of amnesia hit her hard. She blinked rapidly a few times more before sitting up slowly, her head spinning. Oh, she hadn't gotten much sleep. She was in the leaders den? Hm. She yawned widely, her ivory teeth glinting proudly, dark stains obvious to all. She pushed herself to all four paws and tottered to the entrance of the den. Paws working at the ground, she watched the cats gather from the other dens to listen to Bengalstar. She sighed and hopefully slipped out unnoticed. If anyone asked, she wanted to ask him a question early in the morning and he simply wasn't in. It was an easy story to believe, right? Sitting down near the front, the silver she-cat wrapped her tail snugly along her front paws and nodded with a small smile to Bengalstar. A good morning greeting.
--
Teal eyes blinked open slowly and soon stayed open as he heard his leaders call. The tom rolled over and stifled a groan, pushing himself to four paws. He sat near the back trying to groom the tufts of his long pelt that stuck out from the rest. He hadn't slept well that night and his side still hurt from where the glass had pierced him. That was quite the unfortunate mistake he had made, getting moss with some sort of glass in it. He sighed and swiped his tongue swiftly and softly over his now closed wound and shuddered as his tongue met the taste or remaining chewed up herbs. Laying down, the tom tucked his two front paws under his chest and curled his feathered tail along his side, awaiting the news.

A silver-black striped tabby she-cat flicked her ear from where she lay in the warriors den of CelestialClan. Slowly her ice blue eyes opened and she blinked them a few times, trying to clear the cloudy look of sleepiness that rested in them. A large yawn split her maw and she clamped her jaws shut afterward, hoping no one noticed how exhausted she really was. What had awakened her? She looked around to see a few cats moving around and leaving the underground den. She sat up, confused why everyone was up so early. A voice reached her ears and she twitched them over in the direction it came from. It was slightly hard to see in the darkness.
"Well what's everyone waiting for? Bengalstar 'ain't no spring chicken."
Silverrose chuckled softly. "Quite right, quite right..." she laughed quietly in response to the voice. She stood slowly, grunting as she stretched her legs and body in a slow pleasureful stretch. Silverrose nimbly squeezed by the other cats and bounded out onto the grass, blinking her light blue eyes in the brightness of the sun. A spunky little cat she was, may not be the biggest, but her attitude surly was. She liked to make other cats listen to her, 'twas simple for her to persuade them, until she snapped.
The gorgeous she-cat trotted over to the base of the rocks where her leader stood. A handsome tom he was, very handsome indeed. She smiled up at him innocently, blinking her beautiful eyes. Oh a flirt, one more thing to add to the personality lists of course.

Icepaw dreamed merrily of her wonderful life in celestial clan with her friends, but not for long. Something rustled in her den noisily making her eyes scrunch open to see what the commotion was all about. All that was visible was a white blur, probably winterpaw getting an early morning snack. The she-cat tried to close her eyes again before a familiar voice announced it's self audibly throughout the camp. Ice recognized that voice as her admired leaders, and her mentors. Body instantly filled with energy as the she-cat jumped up and bolted out the den. Once winterpaw was in view, ice yowled a good morning and plotted her cute little rump adjacent from hers. Next she looked up to her mentor and flashed a big smile,"Hello Bengalstar!!! It's good to see you on this fine morning! Can we start training soon after the meeting!?"Her voice was quite chipper and not a urge of sleep remained in her. Today was going to be a good day, Like all other days of course! A respectful nod was addressed to all the other cats her emerged from their dens slowly, but surely. Why couldn't everyone have the wild energy Icepaw had?

Bright cerulean eyes appeared from within the shroud of gloom that was the Warrior's Den. Even through the milky shafts of light trickling in and spilling onto the mossy floor and coats of cats unroused from the tunnel mouth the den remained dark and would have been difficult to see through, however her helpful feline eyes manages to light up and peer through, enabling the slender beauty to pick her way delicately from the den without trodding on ears nor tails of her friends around her, still sleeping. Chuckling softly to herself, the smiling blue-point female slipped into the young leaf-green sunlight with a contented sigh. That is, until he called. So magestic, handsome. That exotic colored golden pel, flecked with rich ebony flowing over his cascade of bunched muscles, so regal with the proud way he held his head, jaws tensed in that bad-boy TempestClan manner. Bengalstar had adapted just enough CelestialClan air to announce his handsome presense wordlessly, even before he called out with that husky voice. Get a grip, Arctic! She quickly called herself out of the reverie, then, surprised with her own self-control, the sleek warrior lashed her tail just once then allowed it to flow upwards with the former friendliness she had retained, as if with finality. You know who he's with. And you know very well, so don't you go picking fights. Off. Limits! Drawing her tongue across her teeth behind her lips, the pretty she-cat sat herself down near Tealtide, giving a slight chuckle. "Always got something wrong with you, huh Teal?" Arcticshimmer giggled, teasing her clanmate gently, then flicked her tail over his nose before moving on to sit closer to the front of the crowd. "You take care of yourself, Mr. Misfortune!" She slipped away gracefully, weaving between her clanmates to sit somewhere near Spottedflower, on accident, of course. Glancing sidelong at the beautiful silver tabby, Arcticshimmer could feel her fur growing hot with jealousy. Giving a small, silent sigh of despair, she turned away from the other female and gazed reluctantly at her paws, rather than having to stare at Bengalstar either, of course.

It wasn't long before his clan began to gather before him. Though, not as many of them as he had hoped. Well, it wouldn't be very fair to wait around, as he had already waited long enough. "I am sure you are all well aware of the passing of Warcalling, or rather, the disappearance. I have waited longer than the normal time space that Starclan would allow, however, there has been no word from them that they disagree with this." He meowed. It would now be clear to them what he had gathered them for. "And so after long consideration, I say these words before the body of Warcalling, so that his spirit may hear and approve my choice. Silverrose will be the new deputy of Celestialclan. I trust that she will lead the clan well after my time passes, I hope you will share her joy as she takes up this new position. " He continued. He tried his best to stay focused on the ceremony and it worked out. Now he allowed himself a quick glance to check how Spottedflower looked. "That is all for now Celestialclan." He concluded and jumped down from his perch in an easy leap. He moved forward to be first to touch noses with Silverrose, before letting the others in. Stepping aside he took a seat and waited, hoping he wouldn't be alone for long.

The silver short-haired beauty yawned again, though she tried not to show how bored she really was. She smiled and nodded to more cats that came around and sat down, keeping an eye out for any elders or queens to talk to. But none appeared and as Bengalstar started his speech she turned her attention on him. He was a handsome tom, she must admit, but like he'd fall for a she-cat like her. She was most likely to bossy for his sake. Her blue eyes filled with sadness at the mention of Warcalling, her old deputy. He was a good Clan mate, and the whole Clan mourned when he disappeared. It looked like, now Bengalstar would choose a new deputy. She snorted. Most likely be some she-cat he flirted with, like...ah she didn't even know, why would she pay attention to that?
Her heart stopped when he called out her name. Me? What...no he did not just say Silverrose... he brain screamed at her as a smile of proudness came across her face. She hardly cared if anyone shared in her joy...she'd share in her own!
She stepped foreword out of the crowd to where BengalStar sat. Oh she'd be a fine leader when he went to StarClan, she'd do it for him. She blinked shyly at him and opened her maw. "Thank-you Bengalstar. All I do will be done to honor Warcalling. I will serve my Clan and offer them all I have to offer in my time as deputy." her voice rang out clear and strong. She padded to Bengalstar, not caring who was watching and touched her nose to his, holding his eyes for a second longer than she would with other cats. She was liking this already.

Spottedflower ley out a purr as Silverrose's name was called. "Congratulations! Silverrose, Silverrose, Silverrose!" she called out, her tail flicking happily. After Bengalstar had touched his nose to the new deputy, the she-cat rushed up to Silverrose. "Congratulations, once more," she purred, nodding her head. "Good luck!" she called out as she padded away, trying to spot Bengalstar's lithe, muscular body out of the throng of lithe, skinny cats. He stood out, most definitely the biggest of the clan. She supposed that was alright though because he was from TempestClan. As she managed to find his black spotted golden pelt from the group of cats, her eyes lightened and her pace increased. As she neared the tom, she slowed her pace to a slow walk and approached him cooly,
Dipping her head, the warrior smiled as she grew closer to him. "Hello to you, Bengalstar. Congratulations on a new deputy," she purred, giving him a large smile. Exhaling, the she-cat looked around the clearing, the massive amount of cats in the clearing, awaiting to congratulate the newest high position of the clan. He had an apprentice..didn't he. And she didn't. Which meant that he would have to train..and she would have to sit in the camp and do nothing. Maybe a patrol to kill the time? Oh, she didn't know.
"So," she began, "Icepaw..you're apprentice..hmm?" she asked lightly, trying her very hardest to not sound jealous. But the thing was..she wanted an apprentice. She wanted one badly, and she had yet to receive one. She turned her momentary frown upside down, to smile once more. Maybe she'd be invited to go on a patrol or something. It's not that she didn't like guarding the camp or doing other duties, but she didn't feel like enjoying the quiet of a hunt, she'd rather be out in the territory with a group of cats where they could actually talk some. She sighed and looked at her paws, feeling many mixed emotions bubbling up inside of her.

His maw could not stop itself from curling up a little at the corners to hear the dedication Silverrose had to her clan. He watched happily as the clan began to bustle around her, wanting their chance to speak to her. He still deep down would have preferred a good strong tom, and there were a lot of those, but some of them just didn't have the right qualities, then again not everyone could be a perfect leader. Yet, she-cat's were easier to get through to compared to toms. He knew that Silverrose was a very capable she-cat, but there were some things that she ought to learn, and teaching was no trouble to him. His eyes closed for a moment, Icepaw of course would need some training, ok maybe a bit more than some. He cussed himself momentarily on that matter. Of course he liked her, but he really had to pay a bit more attention. Opening his eyes again he had to blink a few times before the cat that had joined him came into focus. He recognized her voice before her face. "Thank you Spottedflower." He purred. His whiskers twitched smugly as he met the eye of a fellow clan mate whom clearly had a problem with his close friendship with Spottedflower. I'm still the man. He reminded himself briefly. Though they weren't officially mates or anything, but she was so pretty. Then again so was Divinemoon. Articshimmer was also stunning, he remembered helping her get away from Tempestclan, but wasn't that what any warrior would have done to help a hurt clan mate? This clan wasn't good for him, too many good looking she-cat around. Not that Tempestclan didn't have good looking cats, but seriously, compared to Celestialclan, there was quite a large difference. What the she-cat said next though had him confused. Why would she be concerned about his apprentice? "Um, yes, she is my apprentice Spottedflower." He meowed, casting a questioning look in her direction.

Silverrose dropped her maw from Bengalstar's slowly, blinking her light blue eyes at him. She then turned around to come nose to nose with Spottedflower, Bengalstar's latest she-cat she assumed. She purred greatfully as she rubbed noses with the other she-cat. "Thank you for being so enthusiastic Spottedflower!" she laughed at the she-cats many congratulations. This would be fine. Oh yes yes, she wouldn't mind being deputy, not at all. She thought she might get a few hunting patrols ready, as well as a sun-high and a evening patrol, as well as dawn for tomorrow.
But she was distracted as more cats came to congradulate her and she could hardly keep the proud grin off her face. "Thank you thank you. Yes I'll do my best." she promised each Clanmate in turn. She glanced back at Bengalstar, unsure if she was doing alright, she waited for a nod or some kind of sign that she was doing the right things.

Spottedflower smiled as the leader greeted her. Pretty little Spottedflower, the lovely flower. Why was she so interested in his apprentice? Oh, she had brought this upon her, but how to respond she had naught one idea. Swallowing, she looked adoringly at Bengalstar and gave a small smirk. "I've never had an apprentice before, I don't know.." she meowed, looking annoyed at her paws. She suppressed a small sigh but looked up once more to give Bengalstar another smile. Clearing her throat, the she-cat got to her paws, and nodded at the leader. "I suppose you have some orders to give your new deputy, and I should probably go out for a hunt..." she mused quietly to herself, her golden-yellow eyes shining. "Stupid, silly, me. Middle of the day and I have yet to go out on the moor to hunt. I must before I do anything else," she meowed, seeming to talk to herself. She stopped her babbling and backed away, unsure of what to do, but she kept a cool look on her face and in her eyes. She wouldn't look confused, no, not now of all times. Not in front of Bengalstar. Definitely not. "Unless...you'd like to come hunting with me?" she asked, her voice still quiet, calm, and a little higher than normal. "But, of course you can refuse," she meowed absentmindedly. "You've probably got a lot of things to do. The hunting thing can wait.." she mumbled, wanting to stick her tail in between her legs and run out of the camp, letting her mind think without all of the pressure. She kept her cool and remained standing, her tail high, her expression that of feigned hope. She knew he would probably decline politely and leave her alone, able to go hunting without him, going to chat with Silverrose, or maybe another she-cat. Swallowing, she waited nervously for his answer. A decline, no doubt.
Tealtide got off his paws, flashing a look at Arcticshimmer, chuckling softly, before wandering awkwardly over to Silverrose. "Congratulations, Silverrose," he male meowed quietly, thoughtfully. He dipped his head politely, before limping off to sit near the entrance of the camp. He shifted uncomfortably, suddenly wishing that a moss nest was underneath him, preferably one without glass? A small smile played at his features as he thought about his own stupid comment inside of his head. Actually he should probably sleep some more, but because he was called awake for this ceremony, he doubted greatly that he would actually be able to fall back asleep. It was hopeless. He would spend the rest of the day inside the camp, trying hard to ignore the stupid pain that crept up his side. He curled his long, feathered tail over his paws as he squirmed uncomfortably. He probably looked like an idiotic elder with a flea in his pelt.

This would be the life, now that he had chosen a deputy the clan wouldn't need him as much, and Silverrose seemed ready to take charge in any instant. The sad thing was that's what often happened in a clan. The deputy would become leader and after he named a deputy it would be the leaders turn to sit back and watch the deputy do all of the work. Then when the leader decided to be bothered he would step in and he would get annoyed if the deputy wasn't running things properly, but really it would be the leaders own fault. Not to say the leader could not be a she-cat. He wasn't that lazy though, if he wanted to make Celestialclan stronger, then he would have to stop being swayed by good looking she-cats firstly, and secondly he would have to pay attention, but that wasn't a very hard job. He gave a last glance in Silverrose's direction, she would fit into the position perfectly. "Well I haven't been leader for long, so I hope you don't feel it's my fault, plus their is a lack of apprentices." He meowed. Oh yes, apprentice, what an interesting subject to discuss was it not? Of course it wasn't. He blinked once to help clear his head. He had clearly forgotten how innocent Spottedflower could be. Oh well. A kind smile appeared on his maw. "You shouldn't worry about Silverrose, she wont need any guidance, at this rate I am due to be knocked off my high horse by her." He teased, really though, he knew there was no danger of any cat replacing him, after all, he had knocked Perilstar off his high horse. "You should relax Spottedflower, but if you insist on going hunting then we shall go." He purred. He glanced over his shoulder for a brief moment with narrowed eyes, before turning to head out of camp.
-------------
The creamy colored she-cat happily slipped over to Silverrose. "Well done, I am really happy for you!" He purred and gently headbutted the deputy's shoulder. They could still be friends after all right? She caught Tealtide's scent and looked over her shoulder to find him sitting by himself all tense and uneasy looking. She frowned. Quietly padding over to him she narrowed her eyes. "Shouldn't you be resting Tealtide?" The she-cat scolded and flicked her tail. "And don't say you are fine, becuase you clearly aren't sitting here all scrunched up like a new born kit." She added with a warning glare.
