The Queen shifted slightly. Three kits wasn't many to take care of but it was enough to keep her on her toes. The kits were adorable, taking after her and their father. Corruptedlie. Where was the dear tom? Her eyes wandered through the nursery landing back on her kits. Dogkit, Splitkit, Viperkit. Dogkit was the only one who resembled Corruptedlie. Viperkit was almost a mirror copy of her own father and Splitkit seemed to be a mix of the two. Sighing softly the she-cat rose from her laying position, prodding at the three kits with her tail. "Come on you three let's get up. Perhaps find your father." She stretched and gave a yawn, her teeth glimmering lightly as shafts of sunlight shone through. Her slim and slender body didn't seem to be part of any of the three kits at least yet. Splitkit might slender out to be like herself but..."Hmmm." Silkenvine glanced at the ground before heading to the entrance of the nursery.

There was a small groan of complaining from the cream and brown kit who lay in the nest. He had been lost in a sea of dreams, until a sharp prod in his side had awakened him. The blast from the past kit rolled over, blinking open exhausted blue eyes. He had been up at dawn, talking with Sunpaw and that pretty she-cat Twitchpaw. But, alas, Sunpaw had pushed him away, ditching him for his fellow apprentice. Some friend he was. Viperkit grumbled slightly before pushing himself to his paws. Shaking his coat out, he licked a few stray hairs back into place. Being a long-haired cat did not make life in the forest easy. What he'd do for a coat like his sibilings! Short smooth fur...Oh, why bother? He did look quite handsome, if he did say so himself. "All right mama." He agreed sleepily, stumbling after his mother. Why did she have to take such big steps? Narrowing his eyes with irritation he lengthened his stride, bounding after Silkenvine like a rabbit through the heather.

The small gray tom bristled angrily as he got rolled onto his side when his mother stood up. He hissed angrily and his tail twitched. He ran ahead, making sure his mother didn't catch up with him, and slipped out the nursery. He walked round the very edge of the base of the tree trunk, one tiny paw step after the other, sniffing at the soil and bark. Stepping back he took a running leap at the bark on the tree, fastening his tiny claws to it. He hung on easier with his tiny sharp claws, like a grey scrap of moss caught on a piece of bark and just hanging there. Lifting one paw at a time, he wriggled, crawled and pulled himself up the tree as best as he could. He was about to slip when a very large smokey gray paw caught him between his legs, the claws belonging to the large paw unsheathing to make sure he didn't fall, but feeling them in his belly he squealed in protest. "LET ME GO CORRUPTEDLIE!" The tiny tom spat angrily. The large tom simply laughed, and catching the tiny wriggling kit by the scruff, carried him down as he made an easy leap from his den in the tree trunk, to the clearing at the bottom. He put the kit down and scowled at it. "Don't get on my nerves Dogkit." He growled in the kits ear before straightening out. He could feel then anger his father would have had boiling under his pelt, only he could actually use his voice to express himself, unlike Silentwrath. Either way, Silentwrath probably would have been like Dogkit, had he the chance to speak. Seeing Silkenvine he grinned and purred cheerfully. "Morning beautiful." He meowed, touching his gray nose to her tan colored pelt.

Silkenvine smiled lightly as she felt a kit slip between her legs. She lifted a paw hastily and picked up the only she-cat Splitkit. With a mouthful or fur she saw Corruptedlie, her eyes lighting up with a warm feeling. She used to be the flirt of the clan, beautiful and mateless...but now life had changed. Three kits, a mate, she was part of a family in the semi-large clan. Setting the she-cat down at her paws she wasn't surprised to notice how the she kit just sat there. She wasn't much to talk, always seemed to be staring off. Hm. Silkenvine's ears swiveled to catch the voice of Corruptedlie, her tail twisted to run along his pelt and she maneuvered herself to give a lick to his cheek. "Well somebody's quite cheerful this morning." She purred into his ear. The kits were almost invisible in the swift moment of passion she let slip. Her eyes found Splitkit then Dogkit, and there was Viperkit. They were quite the group weren't they? Laughing softly to herself the mother of three cut off her thoughts of what if's and the other life possibilities, letting herself soak in the present.

He took a pleasant moment to take in Silkenvine's scent and her beauty. He licked the side of her face and pressed his head to her shoulder, before moving back again. "Well when I get a good sleep I usually am." He purred. Dogkit was sitting in the background, slumped upwards so he could lick the tiny beads of blood his fathers claws had left on his belly. When he had finished his eyes found his ma and pa having a rather romantic moment. He started acting out choking, the sort you would do when a hairball was coming up, only there was no hair, and it was just all quite sick to be honest. That was until a glare from Corruptedlie silenced him. That tom was no fun. Why did his ma love him? He was heartless and boring, and Dogkit hated him. The dark gray kit stalked quietly over to the massive gray tom and made a leap for the fur on his back. His claws dug in as he wobbled along his pa's back and stood triumphantly on his head. However he felt the familiar massive paw lifting him down and he growled, his fur bristling, a sight which would make any warrior laugh with amusement. "Can't you stay out of trouble?" He asked the kit, but really he meant it. He met the kits eyes and his pupils narrowed, but when he turned back to look at Silkenvine they were large and quite warm.
