An older warrior pads softly through the tall grassed moors, pausing every now and then to admire the scenary or listen to th birds chirp in the few surrounding trees. Her brilliant beautiful calcio coat is an eye catcher, and she couldn't hide very well that was for sure. You would see her from a mile away you would. But her gorguos green eyes would catch you too, and hold you with a shy stare.
She is Meadowstream. Graceful as a meadow, quiet as a stream. Pretty as can be, but shy and slow to react. She often wanders alone like this, tough she enjoys company ofother cats much more. But thats the problem. She's too shy to speak up, to quiet to be noticed. But she doesn't mind, because she has a feelign someoen out there will one day recognize her loving and trusting qualities and want to be with her, despite the fact that at present no one has that intention.
ic---
Meadowstream sniffed the air, her green orbs searching the grassy moors for some life. She didn't scnet any cats around, but her orbs grew wide as she scnted prey, rabbit to be specific. She crouched low on the ground, spying a dirty brown colored hare through the grasses not a far ways off. She kept her paw light as she stalked closer, not making a noise upon approching. Then fast as wind she pounced, throwing herself at the medium sized rabbit.
She streaked acrossthe moor, the wind forcing her long fur out behind her as she ran, bely low to the ground and nose high in the air. Withen seconds of dodging a large log she stumbled, catching her front left paw in a tangle of roots. Meadowstream cired out in pain she fell hard to the dusty ground, collapsing almost imeadietly. She triedto yank her paw out ofthe root tangle, but found they was stuck in the ground, like her paw now was. It hurt, and she felt sharp pains shoot up her leg to her shoulder.
She grinded her teeth, trying not to cry out in pain, but it wasn;t good enough. She was sure it was broken, bones crushed by the speed she was going and the force of her fall. She let out a pain-filled wal, hoping someone would find her and help her become unstuck. SHe waited as night grew closer and the sun started to sink. She shivered in cold, chills running down her spine. But every time she tried to pull her paw, or jerked from the cold, she would waiout in pain. A pain only described by the agony of the call for help.

Fadedstripe was walking through the forest, bored. He hadn't known why he wanted to go for a walk today. Was is because of his grief? After all, his best friend and the girl he loved had become mates. He deserved some time alone, no? Sighing heavily, he padded on. Annoyed. He had never felt so cheated before. He even told him how he loved her. Did he listen? No. Anger welled up in his belly as he thought of the ginger warrior. She had as much to do with this as her mate did. He tried so hard not to explode on them, but he did anyway...
"Fadedstripe! What's wrong with you!" Mysticheart yelled at him, snarling. The brown tabby looked at his friend, shocked. He hadn't even done anything other then telling Firepelt how he thought she was pretty! Was he that jealous? "I wasn't trying to start anything with you. Must you be so rude?" He said, his temper flaring in his eyes. Mysticheart slashed a paw across his face, and he heard Firepelt gasp. His temper came out now, and he started to snap at Mysticheart's face. His paw, claws sheathed, went for his eyes.
Firepelt spoke up now, "No! Stop it!" she jumped in between the brown tabby and the ginger tom. Fadedstripe ended up hitting her instead. The ginger tom stared, horrified and snarled at Fadedstripe. Firepelt showed no sign of pain, but she gave Fadedstripe a look of sadness. The brown tabby raced out of the camp, horrified at what he had done.
Regret floated around his mind, stealing his mental stability, he was sick with it. He wanted to just end everything and go be with his family in StarClan. He was so close to doing it, too. Just let a warrior kill him. He'd gladly accept it. He was about to wonder onto TempestClan territory, to run to it and provoke a fight, but then he heard the wails of pain from a cat. A she-cat by the sound of the voice. He ran toward the noise, looking for her.
When he approached her, he was surprised at the sight. He smiled, amused a bit at how she got her paw stuck. He ran toward her and looked at her. I don't recognize her! He though, shocked. He gave her a shy smile and spoke, "Don't worry, I'll get you outta there." He started to dig around her paw, fast. Dirt was going everywhere, and he stood in front of her face, to keep it from getting there. After many heartbeats he finally managed to free her paw. He looked back at her, and gave a look of sympathy. Turning to face her, he spoke again. "Are you alright? Would you like assistance?"

Meadowstream pricked her ears as she heard a faint rustle in the bushes, and a scent hit her nose. Zeypherclan...Fadedstripe! she breathed a sigh of relief before raising her heas so he could see her in the dark moors, now that the sun had gone. "Over here Fadedstripe!" she called softly, her voice haorse from crying and wailing so much. But he was already headed towards her. Her green orbs were now hued with gray because of the moonlight the shone faintly through the clouds. She grunted in pain as the tom dug around the roots and freed her paw. Oh the pain was excrutiating!
"Uhh thanks...I was, well I've been stuck out here a while. I was hunting and I leaped over that log over there." she pointed to the large brown log behind them with her tail. "I jumped it and didn't even see the tangles here and well my paw got caught and I fell. It might be broken but I don't know. I'll let Foxdream look at it when I get back to camp if I do." she tried to hold back the tears as she tried putting weight on it and yelped as a pain shot through her leg into her bobdy.
"Sorry." she grunted weakly and then shivered in the cold. Fadedstripe was a nice looking cat, as well as a nice mannered cat. She didn't mind his company at all i nfact she enjoyed it. She was glad some he had found her and helped her opposed to some others who would perhaps laugh at her foolish mistake. Who knows, maybe he still would.

Fadedstripe smiled at the she-cat. He realized that he knew who she was. He mentaly kicked himself because he forgot a fellow clan mates name. The brown tabby nodded when Meadowstream spoke, "It's an honest mistake, anybody could make it." He said kindly. The same thing had happened to him as an apprentice. His paws ached just thinking about it. He licked her tears, and shook his head. "We shall not have anymore crying, sadness if for cats who can not smile. You can smile, yes?" He joked, but stifened when he heard her cry out in pain.
He looked at her with pity. "You must be in much pain, I shall help, c'mere." He went over to her and, with his size, he picked her up easily and put her on his back. He grunted slightly, but if she was heavy, he didn't notice. All that was on his mind was getting her to Foxdream and Dawnpaw. He smiled when she apoligized, and shook his head. "Think nothing of it." He whispered, and then he started to walk to camp. He noted the smells of prey, and wished he could give her some. To help give her strength, but he couldn't. So he pushed on. Grunting when he started to walk uphill.
Fadedstripe was getting closer to camp, and thoughts raced his mind. Mysticheart? Firepelt? What will they do to him? Will they be rude, or forgiving? He shivered a bit, and frowned. "I was just telling her she was pretty." He mumbled, and then rolled his eyes. It wasn't his fault that stupid ginger tom was so jealous. He attempted to look up at Meadowstream. "So, how are you today, miss?"

She let him lick her tears, stiffening the moment his tognue rasped over her cheek. Her eyes widened. How strange it felt, but how wonderful...and nice too. She relaxed slightly, letting him continue. She shook her head in protest as he asked to help, but let out a squeek as he lifted her light body onto his sturdy back. She felt comfertabl, or as comfertabel as she could get on another cats back. Especially a toms! She blushed to herself and tried very hard to stay still.
She glanced down at Fadedstripe as they drew nearer to camp, listening to him speak softly. It comferted her, which was strnage becaasue rarley anythign did, especially toms. He was being very nice to her. She chcukled to herself shyly. Her, Meadowstream, riding on a toms back after breaking her paw.
"Thank you for doing this Fadedstripe...it means a lot. My paw is broken for sure..." she murmmered softly in his ear, not to disturb anything in the quiet night. A few stars shone down on her from above. She listned to him chat up a little bit, but her only response was silence. It was only when he mumbled something about pretty pelts she looked down at him, meeting his gaze as he looekd up.
"Oh, sorry. I--I wasn't staring at you the whol time, I was- was ummm watching the stars." she stutered, captured by his beautiful eyes. She breahted in sharply and drew her gaze away. What was this all about. Could she possibly have feelings for the tom who had helped her...no that couldn't just happen. Sure, she'd known him around camp, after all they all trianed together as apprentices. Sureley she was just in shock, yes that was it. She shook her head foolishly.
"Well today I was doing fine, until I ggot stuck in the bramvles on the moor." she laughed softly, hoping to cover up her silly words from before. She noticed how near they were getting to camp. Soon she'd be in Foxdreams den, hopefully with some poppy seeds. "We're almost there right?" she sighed, suddenly hit by a wave of exhaustion.

Fadedstripe blushed a bit when they're gaze met, and he looked away, embarrassed. "Oh, yes. Uhm, right. So..." He said, nervous. Then he continued, "The stars are quite lovely indeed. Don't you think? They sparkle beautifully. One might be jealous of their beauty, but not you, right? A cat as beautiful as you must have no need of jealousy, no?" He realized what he just said, and he laughed nervously. He stiffened a bit, but relaxed. Not wanting Meadowstream to be uncomfortable.
"Oh, it is not trouble at all." He replied to her, smiling. It truly did mean nothing, he was just a friendly cat. When she mentioned that her paw must have been broken, he frowned. "Are you okay? I'll drop you off in the medicine cat's den, alright?" He started walking a bit faster, both scared for himself and Meadowstream. He frowned harder as he started to get tired. Both because he was carrying a cat on his back, and that he hadn't gotten much sleep.
Once they were in camp, the ginger warriors were not in sight, and he sighed of relief. "We're here, you still ok?" His voice had deep concern in it, and he was relieved that she would soon get medical attention. He was in good spirits... for a moment at least. Firepelt stared at him with an intense longing look, and he shivered. He glared back at her, and then looked up at Meadowstream. Padding inside the medicine den, he spoke softly, "Anybody here? We need some help."
((OOC: I'll RP Dawnpaw 'cause Coyote ain't here. xD Mystic and Fire and random charries I made up to keep this interesting. Lol))

Meadowstrea blushed at his comment, looking away from him again. "Oh well I don't know abotu that..." she whispered shyly and softly, her gray hued orbs fixed on a particular star that shone brightly. Mother is that you, lauhgin at me right now?" she smiled, seeing in her head her mother chuckling softly at what she was doing right now. Silly her. It was just so unlike her, to be on a toms back for a ride home, after she had broken her leg. Oh dear. She sensed Fadedstripe's tierdness, and she tried to keep away for his sake, so that their conversation might keep each other awake so they didn't fall asleep on the spot.
"Oh I hope it's no trouble. I must be getting heavy. I can see the camp though, we're almost ther." shse encouraged him, feeling a strnage tingle in her chest whenever she looekd into his eyes. She sighed in releif as he came to the medicine cats den quickly. Fadadestripe called out, and at present she heard no reply. She slipped off his back quickly, hoping he wouldn't think he dropped her. She lay down on the cold ground, happy it was there to cool her hot ears, hot from emabrresment that was.
ooc; Okay, also after she is fixed up we should end the thread. And you should get him to join a thread thats she'ss in "Alone' for example, so it can be their second thread lol.

Fadedstripe thought that he dropped Meadowstream, and shock raced through him. He tensed up, but then felt sane again as he realized that she was ok. He licked her on the head and whispered, "Be ok." He walked out of the den and to the warrior's den. He'd sleep without his friends tonight.. the thought bothered him a bit, but he'd have to deal with it. He decided it was his fault, and he accepted that. He looked back at the medicine cat's den, and smiled. Dawnpaw's ears pricked up at the sound of the brown tabby's voice. She saw that Foxdream was asleep, so she wouldn't bother him. She started to walk to the voice, but when it disappeared, she looked around and saw Meadowstream in the floor. She immediately knew that her leg was broken. She padded to the back of the den, and grabbed poppy seeds, and some large leaves. She pushed the seeds to her mouth. "Eat." Then she wrapped the she-cat's broken leg in the leaf, so it wouldn't move. "You need to stay off of it, and you need to stay here for a couple days. Ok?" She smiled, and pointed to a bed of moss.[/blockquote] ((OOC: Ok, :3))

Warmth and happiness flooded through Meadowstream and she purred as his tognue rasped over her head before Fadedstripe left the den. They had made it! She tried to sit up as Dawnpaw came around the corner, but she failed and managed to hall herself intoa nest in the corner of the den. She kenw she'd have to stay here for at least tonight, if not more. She let Dawnpaw wrap it, trying not to wince in pai nas it moved. She had known it wa broken all along, it was merely confirmed now. She licked up the poppy seeds, knowing they'd mae teh pain go away.
'Thanks Dawnpaw...that was great..." she murred then sighed loudly, dirfintg into a sleep where her dreams were filled with a young handsom tom by the name of Fadedstripe.
