Short Description:
Age: 34 moons
Gender: She-cat
Desired Position: Deputy
Short Description:
Dark multicolored she-cat with unusual color changing eyes.Description:
Oakfeather is a magnificently colored cat. The tan, white, brown, and in between colors dance around creating a satisfying illusion. The black borders the brown and tan. This is placed as a line going down her back, in the middle of her tail, and the backside of all of her paws. Next to the black is the tan and brown. Its starts as brown and fades to a light tan. The tan is in between the white and brown sections. And last, in between the tans there is a creamy white. The white is what brings it all together! The white only is found on her chest and makes its way to her tail. But at the end of her tail, on the side of it, there is a small white dot. She calls it her "lucky spot". Oakfeather's mother had a white spot on her tail also so it reminds her of her mother.Personality:
Oakfeather's head is long and narrow, not too wide, and not too fat. The markings on her forehead are like a tabby's; the signature 'M' with a few stripes. Her chin is white and her neck is the stunning tan; that is also placed around her eyes, on the back of her ears, and on her cheeks. The black eyelid makes her look like she is wearing eyeliner... but her whiskers are just the opposite. They are a pearly white, shimmering in the sunlight. Her ears are extremely large for her size; the insides of them are a peachy pink. But her nose is a dark maroon color. Oakfeather's eyes are the crowning feature of her head, her mysterious eyes are questioning, are they light brown? Are they dark green? Light green? It is extremely hard to find out, because her eyes change to different colored shades! They only change from a light brown shade to a dark green shade. And from a dark green shade to a light green shade. And from a light green shade to a light blue shade! The light blue only shows when she is super excited!
When Oakfeather's paws touch the ground, they won't even kill a ant! She walks so quietly that not even a insect could hear her. The coloring on her paws are the same as most of her body; black in the back, brown in between, tan, then white on the side facing inward. Her pads are a jet black and are very rough. She loves to run so her legs are long and skinny.
Her body structure is skinny and full of muscle. She loves to run so she always stays fit. She can eat three whole rabbits and never get fat. She uses so much energy that it keeps the balance of fat and muscle in check. She is sorta tall, but not too short. Her legs have to be long for fast running!
Her tail is very long, it is not much used for balance, but for direction. She uses her tail for running at fast speeds. It is a little like a motorboat; the way you turn the engine, the way the boat goes. The coloring is very simple; black on the underside, brown, then tan. There is no white except for her "lucky dot" at the tip. A unique thing about her tail is that it has stripes on it! Unlike most of her body, this is a unique touch.
Oakfeather has five sides to her personality: Leader like- the time to be serious, Queen like- the time to be mean, Kit like- the time to be playful, Medicine Cat like- the time to be caring, and lastly Elder like- the time to be shy, quiet, content, peaceful, and lazy. They are explained below.Experience:
Leader like
Her leader like side is what is most important when it comes to deciding who will be leader of a patrol, mentoring an apprentice, a time in battle, looking over the clan, or something huge like a major crisis (leader sick/dead, famine, intruders) She uses the leader like side only when she means business! Mess with her when she is in "leader mode" and you just might be picking ticks out of elder's fur. Signs to look for to know she is in leader mode are: lashing of tail, harsh tone, extreme eye contact, no smile, whiskers back, ears forward, distant gaze, and her outrageous elegant posture.
Queen like
We all know that queens are mean to their kits when they disobey? Well that is why Oakfeather has a queen like side. She almost never uses this side. She is always kind to others. The only way to get on her bad side is badmouth her, step on her tail, get into a fight with her, and even just simply bothering her when she is in "the zone". It is almost impossible to tell the difference between her leader like and her queen like side for the signs are the same.
Kit like
Oakfeather is as happy as a cat with catnip when she is in her kit like side. She normally uses this side when she is playing with the kits or apprentices. She is totally a goofball! She will trip, chase leaves, play with butterflies, catch snowflakes, jump in leaves, or even spin in circles till she falls down all just to have fun. Oakfeather is the happiest, funniest, kindest, and most unaware when in this side. If you are trying to have a conversation when she is playing, she will completely ignore you! It will be like talking to a brick wall. But remember... have fun and join in with it while you can! Because she can get pretty ugly (see queen like side).
Medicine Cat like
This is most important to Oakfeather when a cat in hurt. A caring side will come and it will be the most * side you have ever seen! She will in an instant comfort and protect if you are hurt or unable to walk. She will be at your side till you are in the paws of the professional. If you had to pick one side for her to have forever, this would be the side. None would be sad, or in pain. Oakfeather would be right there in all the action.
Elder like
Basically if you had to pick a place to put all of the other personalities, this would be the place. Oakfeather's elder like side is mostly lazy. This is when early in the morning, the droopy personality will come out. Or when at night, when staring at the stars. The peacefulness won't let you escape from it's grasp. Oakfeather claims that this is her worst side, cause she hates to be like an elder. They just lay around all day, letting other cats do stuff for them! Oakfeather is a talker, and she is very sociable! She loves to be playful and energetic!
(In other words: she is bipolar) ((XD!))
Before Birth/KitPicture:
Born alone, with no brothers or sisters due to a cold winter night. Oakkit, a tiny, skinny, newborn kit awakened in a world. Crying. Hungry. Oakkit was named for her stunning fur. The glow that arose from it was thrilling, it kept you on the edge.
Oakkit had a tough struggle, she was born blind! She could not see for the first six weeks. The world was a dark place, her nose was the only thing keeping her alive; besides her mother and father helping her. She had just gotten used to her blindness when one morning a hint of light could be seen, she was frighted and hid in the darkest part of the cave every day. Her eyesight got better and better, by 4 weeks she could almost see perfect. After 6 weeks, her eyesight was fully enabled. Oakkit saw the world for the first time, it was a very, very bright place. Her eyes started changing colors in the differences of light. In the dark, they were dark. In the light, they were light.
Her parents, Hollyleaf and Spottedhawk were apprentice sweethearts. I'm sure you've heard of "love at first sight" well this actually happened! When Hollykit became Hollypaw, her first step into the apprentice's den changed her life. Her eyes clicked with Spottedpaw's and they were soul mates. They trained together and became warriors side by side. Hollyleaf was in a daze.
When Hollyleaf became pregnant, she became very ill. She would not eat or drink, and thus almost dying. In that process, the brothers and sisters of Oakkit died. Spottedhawk was in a downward spiral. He had said to himself many times before the kits were born, "If Hollyleaf dies, I die with her."
The day the kits were born, it was snowing. The middle of Leaf-bare and having kits! Hollyleaf was still not eating or drinking. A kit emerged from Hollyleaf, Spottedhawk at her side. The kitten did not cry, Hollyleaf named the kit Tigerkit. After so many told stories of Tigerstar. The next kit came, no sound. She named this kit Deathkit. For it never had a chance at life. Hollyleaf and Spottedhawk were desperate. The last kit came. Crying out from its little lungs. The parents were filled with joy. The little kit was a girl, Hollyleaf named her Oakkit, for her brown colored pelt. A glow came from the kit, like as a gift from StarClan saying: "Here I am, your one and only." Hollyleaf and Spottedhawk cherished their kit, after almost losing each other in the process.
Apprentice
Apprenticeship went quite fast for Oakpaw, she was a skilled learner and enjoyed training. Her mentor Dazedsky was a experienced warrior and did not enjoy hyper apprentices. Oakpaw changed her thinking, for she showed Dazedsky that fun apprentices were the best!
Oakpaw's kit like side was shown almost everyday! She didn't like to listen when "off duty" she wanted to play, play, play! Hollyleaf would still have to scold Oakpaw, even when she was an apprentice. Oakpaw was very close to her father. They together were like unison. Spottedhawk would sometimes take Oakpaw for a run around Zephyr Territory, and take her on patrols with him. She loved her daddy, more than anything. Spottedhawk really was her "second mentor" because when Oakpaw wasn't training with Dazedsky, she was with her father learning fighting moves, or hunting techniques.
One day, the hottest the clans have felt before, Oakpaw snuck out of camp. She had never been out by her self! This was an adventure of a lifetime! She went to the Tempest border and played with the leaves from the dark trees. She had never seen big trees like this so it was quite an experience. While she was playing, the camp was in a dismay! Oakpaw was a beloved apprentice to the clan. Two patrols were sent out to find her; one to the Celestial border, one to the Tempest border. Oakpaw was oblivious to what was happening. But a Tempest patrol picked up her scent and found her on their side of the border playing with leaves. The snuck up on her and startled her. She screamed and tried to run away, but it was too late they had her surrounded! One taunted her, "Look who has showed up...", one touched her and she jumped. One kept watch for a Zephyr patrol. She was doomed!
Spottedhawk was the lead of the patrol to the Tempest border. When he picked up her scent, he raced to where she was fixed between two Tempest warriors. He had a plan to get his daughter back. He ordered the other warriors to distract the Tempest cats while he snatched Oakpaw. The plan worked! The Tempest cats were unaware of the plan and they were ditched; blankly staring at the path the Zephyr warriors ran.
Oakpaw was punished to three moons of tending the elders. This is how Oakpaw discovered that the life of a elder was boring. They were like potatoes in a sack; doing nothing all day! The days longed on and Oakpaw finally became a warrior.
Warrior
"...your name shall be Oakfeather..." That was the best day of Oakfeather's life. Her multicolored eyes sparkling with joy. Mixed emotions rippling through her body. Her smiling parents were the first cats she looked for after that ceremony. The cats chanted her new name, "Oakfeather, Oakfeather, Oakfeather!" Making all the blood in her skinny body drain. She was nervous and excited at the same time. Nervous for the days to come; Excited for that she is finally a warrior!
Not more than two moons into being a warrior, Hollyleaf and Spottedhawk became Elders. That was the saddest day of Oakfeather's life. She would never be able to run with her dad again. She cried her self to sleep that night. Oakfeather still went to visit her parents everyday and make sure they were well and taken care of before she went hunting or on a patrol. She cared for the well being of other cats not just her parents, thus making her a extraordinary warrior of the clan. Oakfeather never did good deeds out of personal gain, she always did them out of kindness and consideration.
Five days before Oakfeather became deputy, her mother died of an unknown sickness. Oakfeather was crushed; she spent every day and night mourning for her with her father. But just like her father said, "If Hollyleaf dies, I die with her." Spottedhawk snuck out of camp and drowned himself. The news was reported to Oakfeather the next morning. She felt like the world was coming to an end. But she trusted in StarClan that there was a reason for all of this killing, and she just had to tough it out.
Oakfeather's happiness faded for a bit. Until the day she was announced deputy. She knew this is what StarClan was planning her for. That was a test to see if she could handle death. And she succeeded! She is loyal to her clan and says to StarClan every night, "Zephyr, my life; so small, never shall I fight. StarClan; my upward kingdom, challenges to face. Flying by at an unlikely pace. Mother and Father walk with me, but their smiles I adore and cherish like the roaring sea."
Oakfeather knew she was meant to be deputy, and she will never let her parents down.

A paragraph about why I think I deserve to be deputy.
I think I would be a great deputy to Zephyr because I'm friendly and like to help other members, I'm trustworthy, I'm loyal and stick to my word, and I'm a great role model for other new members to follow. I can contribute to the clan with my activeness, my attentiveness, and my ideas that can make the clan better. I have no plans on leaving the site, and I hope to remain deputy for many, many moons. I have lots of experience with leadership and coding, so the headers and footers should be no trouble at all. Same with the boards of the camp. I will encourage members to join Zephyr, and contribute a positive outlook of the Warriors Forest and Warriors series.
-A couple of the words got modified! SO I put a star for the words that should have been other words-
