An short orange fluffball came sprinting out of the makeshift camp. Her fur fluffed out with excitement. She was thrilled at the idea of the journey. It was a chance for an adventure and that meant exploring. She looked around at the other apprentices. "Who is up for a chance to explore without our mentor or any warriors!?!?" Daringpaw mewed excitedly.
Of course she knew this would be dangerous and daring, but did she care, no! She was all about the daring life. It was her life. She turned her head and looked at every single one of them. She gave them all a charming smile. Her amber eyes were friendly, but held a bit of a fiery in them. Daringpaw was a sweet cat, but she wasn't calm, cool, and collected like most cats.
Wolfpaw had been in ear shot of all the other apprentice. He heard the orange she-cat words and cocked his head. He didn't care if he went or not. He looked over at Moonpaw. Would she want to go? If she went, he definitely would go. He had to protect hi baby sister from any danger or harm that might fall her way. He padded over to the group of apprentices.
He sat with the group and looked at each and everyone one them with his good eye. He watched their expression. How many of them would want to ignore the fact that it was unsafe. How many of them would look for an adventure. He let out a small growl. How many of them were as stupid as the orange she-cat. He twitched his ear in annoyance at her.

A brown, crispy leaf danced in the wind, it twirled and floated gently around the trees towards a young white she-cat sitting in the shade of a oak. Gazing up into the sky Moonpaw spotted the leaf and watched it glide towards her until it was a paw length away. Jumping to her snow white paws the apprentice raced over to the flying object and leaped into the air snatching it with her claws. Moonpaw landed lightly on her paws and she laughed, proud of her accomplishment. While it was no blue jay it was still excellent practice when the time arises. Shaking her paw slightly she let the crumbled leaf fall to the ground. Suddenly a voice arose nearby and the wind brushed against her fur as a orange blur raced by. "Who is up for a chance to explore without our mentor or any warriors!?!?" Moonpaw flicked her ears in curiosity. An adventure without any mentor to order you around or a warrior to constantly kitsit you sounded quite exciting to the young she-cat. Padding over towards the small crowd of apprentices she spotted her brother, Wolfpaw. Gaining a small leap in her step she pranced over towards her brother who seemed apprehensive over the whole idea as she caught him looking over towards her. When Moonpaw became close enough for him to hear her she stopped and let her tail flick towards the sky in excitement.
"Come on Wolfpaw this sounds like an adventure we just can't miss out on!" Her voice was cheery and upbeat as Moonpaws eyes shone with aparant enthusiasm.

The dark tabby tom gaze quickly changed from distaste to a calm soft glaze. This was the only time he was ever soft and friendly. He would never tell his sister no. He looked over at Moonpaw. He flickered his tail one last time before standing up.
Wolfpaw stand up and padded over towards Moonpaw. He rubbed his cheek against hers and gently flicked her shoulder with his tail. "Fine," He mewed as he sat next to her sister. "We can go with them, but if we get in trouble, it's on your hind?" He let all the expression leave his face and he looked at all the other apprentices.

Moonpaw smiled as her brother's gaze turned from distaste to a willing, kind expression and nuzzled her cheek. She let out a soft purr and playfully pushed on his shoulder. "Sure I don't mind taking the blame! But what's the fun of just sitting around here waiting for something to happen? Nothing!"
She laughed and turned her gaze towards the orange female apprentice. "Count us in Daringpaw!" She cried out, her voice filled with excitement and anticipation. Although Moonpaw tended to get ahead of herself she does enjoy a good adventure every moonrise and again. It brought her a sense of freedom and joy that no training or chore ever made her feel.
In the distance a petite black and white tom sat in the shadows of a nearby thorn bush. His bright green eyes flickered in curiosity. He understood their reason for wanting a little freedom, being an apprentice means rules and following them was a strict order from all the warriors in the area. It was hard to slip away unnoticed, but today seemed to have a slight ray of hope shine down their way. Warriors were busy with multiple tasks with the journey and those who weren't working were either training their own apprentices or sleeping. But on the other paw their was a risk of danger that was quite apparent to Stormpaw. The area was unknown and very little cats have yet to explore this new setting. Anything could be lurking behind a rock or crouching above on a tree branch.
He began to ponder on the idea of joining the apprentices and weighed both the pros and the cons. While it was great experience going out on their own, it was also a risky maneuver. Stormpaw wasn't much of a thriller fan, he enjoys the quiet walk in the forest or a hunt in the grasslands but going behind the warriors backs was another thing entirely.
Stormpaw finally came up with a conclusion with these mouse brains. Either the three of them have completely lost their minds or completely bored out of their minds. Neither of which he truly cared about and instead of going out to introduce himself, stayed put where he was and watched from the distance. Stormpaw decided he would follow them if they decide to go through with the whole idea. It would be quite the entertainment watching them wander around holplessly in the forest.

Daringpaw let out a loud purr in excitement. Sh jumped up oto her paws and ran forward. She weaved between the two sibling which caused Wolfpaw to hiss at her. "Then let's go! Come on!!! Come on Wolfpaw, Moonpaw, don't be slow slugs!"
She took off towards the bushes and ran under the undergrowth she waited for the other two to follow he. Her fur was fluffed out in excitement. She was hoping they wold run into trouble and danger. She let out a purr. She flickered her tail in happiness.
Wolfpaw stood up and nudged his sister, before trotting after Daringpaw. What would happen to them? Would they get hurt? Would Moonpaw get in trouble? He would rather die then let his sister get hurt. He turned and looked at Moonpaw.
"Moonpaw, please stay near me. I don't want you to get hurt," Wolfpaw mewed, "I just don't know what I'd do if I lost you. You are my only family and the only one who doesn't judge me." Wolfpaw leaned over and licked her cheek. "Please stay near me?"

Moonpaw's fur fluffed out from Daringpaws sudden excitement. Don't be slow slugs! That sounded like a ch allege to her! Moonpaw enjoyed the thrill of a ch allege and the game that was thrown her way made it much more exciting. She began to imagine all the creatures she has yet to see before and what the forest will look like with just them out there. The excitement seemed to build up inside her and she started to take off after Daringpaw when she suddenly felt Wolfpaws presence again.
She listened to her brother with acute, icy blue eyes and paused in her jumpy step. "Don't worry Wolfpaw I'll protect you from the big bad monsters out there!" She laughed and nudged him to the side. She didn't think much of the situation she was heading in. Moonpaw never thought things through when her excitement took over and this was no exception. "Come on let's follow her and have some fun!" Without another word she leapt after Daringpaw, casting a glance towards Wolfpaw making sure he was near her.
Stormpaw gazed at where the two females once were and blinked. They were completely mouse brained. How stupid can a cat be? Daringpaw had no idea what she was getting herself into, she was no leader but a thrill seeker wanting to quench her thirst for adventure. Moonpaw seemed to only tag along because of the adventure and Wolfpaw was only a follower, he didn't seem to want to go nor did he share the same excitement as the two females did.
Stormpaw flicked his black ears to the side. It was best that he should follow behind. Just in case they got into a sticky situation.

Wolfpaw looked uneasy about this. He continued on following his sister. He ran next to her . His eyes were prickled and listening for anything out of the ordinary. Wolfpaw kept his good eye on his sister. He was maybe a little to protective of his sister, but he didn't care.
As he made it under the bush, he looked at the other female. His eyes were narrowed. He felt like this she-cat was going to get Moonpaw or one of them in trouble or hurt. He sat down and waited for what they were gonna do.
"Yay! Were all here! Okay!" Daringpaw purred. She jumped to her paws. She was must shorter then the other cats, even though she was older. She wasn't going to ever be very big. She let her tail swish in a excitement. "Were gonna have to be stealthy and quite. We don't want to be spotted my a warrior or our chances of explore are over! And that would just suck!"
Daringpaw slowly crept through the undergrowth. She was being as quiet as a mouse. She didn't want to get caught and sent out with her mentor. She let out a grumble. That would be just pain awful.

Moonpaw pushed through the underbrush and toppled in the grass on her back. She let out a small bunch of giggles and quickly flipped back over when Wolfpaw appeared beside her. Casting a glance at his direction she kept one eye on him and the other on the young female cat in front of her. She listened to what she had to say and her her rump wiggled to and fro with excitement.
"Yeah! Let's break some rules!" Moonpaw cried out in the mist of the excitement, jumping in the air at the same time. But then she remembered Daringpaws warning to stay quiet and she cast her gaze to her paws for a moment. "Whoops.." She looked around to see if anyone heard her besides of the three of them. To her disappointment she saw the bushes rustle for a moment then became still. But a warrior didn't emerge. Moonpaw stared at the bushes for a little while longer then shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention back towards Daringpaw.
Stormpaw lay still in the bushes watching the trio from his little hideout. He was surprised the little white she-cat didn't bust in here, her blue eyes seemed to stare right at his own green ones. Ducking his head the black and white apprentice crouched waiting for their next move. He began to wonder where they will head and what they will encounter.

Wolfpaw looked over at Daringpaw and nodded and then let out a small chuckle at Moonpaw excitement. He nudged his sister playfully. "Shhh you squeal as loud as a tickled kit!" Wolfpaw quietly teased Moonpaw.
He quickly followed Darinpaw through the undergrowth. Then, suddenly paused. He felt a like they were being watched. He glared into the bushes, but though he was being paranoid. He couldn't smell anything. He turned around and followed Daringpaw through the remainder of the make shift camp and a good distance away from camp.
Daringpaw stopped creeping through the undergrowth. She stood up and let out a purr. "We made it! Now let's go find something exciting! We could track something or just explore everything!"
Daringpaw ran in circles around the two apprentices. She was excited to be meeting new friends. Oh at least she hoped so. She smiled up at the two with her devious smile.

Moonpaw felt her pelt warm from happiness when Wolfpaw smiled in her direction. Though her loud outburst was coincidental it still made her day to see her brother smile even if it were for a moment. She enjoyed holding on to that happiness and loved every second of it.
When the two other apprentices began to crawl stealthly over varius rocks and stones, she followed as well. Moonpaw noticed Wolfpaw pausing in his step and she automatically knew what he was thinking. Because she had the same thought just a moment ago. Someone was watching them. Who it was she was uncertain, but it was no threat because if it was a warrior then they would've shown themselves long ago. It must be another apprentice or kit trailing them from behind.
Looking back up she noticed Wolfpaw and Daringpaw were ahead of her and she picked up her pace and quickly clawed her way through a bush to where they stood. Moonpaw caught her breath for a moment and offered Wolfpaw a smile. She trusted him on his own she knew while his eyesight was not the greatest in the clan, his hearing was spot on. While she thought of that she can't help but cast her gaze in his direction every now and then. Maybe it was her motherly side coming out, or maybe it was their past?
Moonpaw shrugged at the idea it was possible that because of how low they were treated from their father that they grew much closer then some siblings. She almost saw him as her best friend and tends to forget he is even her brother.
When Daringpaw began to speak the small, white she-cat perked up her ears in interest. Looking around she spotted a large rock, small enough to jump onto but tall enough to feel higher then some small bushes back in their old territory. Racing up over towards the gray boulder she leaped on top, scraping her claws on the hard surface and looked all around her.
"Oh wow this place is huge!" She looked to the west, away from their camp spotted numerous thorn bushes. To the east a small pond was stationed and the north and south both held almost nothing to Moonpaws interest except various rocks of all shapes and sizes.
"Where do you guys want to head? I'm up for explorin!" Moonpaw meowed as she crouched on her stone.

//have you guys read the board description? there's not undergrowth or any of that, it's all caves, tunnels, and basically rocky, mountainous terrtain with a few patches of pines here and there and a few rough streams. just visualize a mountain :b (I just thought I'd correct you before it got too far, I'm seeing lots of thunderclan territory-esque descriptions) ---
she shivered and looked around her, not quite lost, but not happy in this stone prison. when the word 'journey' had started floating around everyone's mouths she had already been reluctant, and then this was the place they ended up in? she grimace, unshealthing her claws in order to clamber up a steep stone wall, slipping ungracefully as she went thanks to the complete lack of paw holds to cling to. she made it, though, and found herself on a formation that jutted far out away from the mountain the clan cats were sheltering themselves upon, and while it looked a bit narrow and dangerous, the tabby she-cat couldn't help herself when a little voice in her head dared her to edge further out onto the cliff. she was a slender, light cat though, and she used a sort of hunter's crouch to keep her weight evenly distriuted, and moved forward, light on her paws, until she could look over the edge.
her muscles were so tense she thought she might cramp and die up there, but she was too afraid of heights to let go, and the drop from here seemed like a lifetime would pass before she could reach the unforgiving rocky crevices below. slowly, she scooted backwards until she could turn, and then skittered well away from that place, looking instead for an easy way down when she heard voices.
they sounded young and loud, or perhaps their voices were hushed and their movements shuffling and inexperienced, making all the noise in the world. obviously they were inexperienced, because nectarpaw had a feeling this was no evening patrol. sure enough, they passed beneath her and she called down to the wayward group of apprentices, sounding a bit scolding, "what are you three doing out here?" she asked, then spied a path down to them, and picked her way across the stones where she met the cats. two of them reeked of tempestclan, and she crinkled her nose until she spied daringpaw- of course- leading the group. daringpaw and nectarpaw were both from vertigoclan, and nectarpaw knew the ginger's bad habit of getting into lots of trouble. she turned back to the other two, "I just wanna tell you right now that following daringpaw anywhere is a really horrible idea. no offense," she flicked her tail absently at the other female, "but literally all she does is either get hurt or get in trouble, and she pretty much does it on purpose. also, there's someone following you, smells like more vertigoclan but I can't tell who with you two here." she shrugged, curling her tail. she knew her place as the oldest cat here, and she felt comfortable talking to these cats knowing they were much younger than she, and having the presence of a cat she already knew- maybe two.

Daringpaw smiled at Moonpaw as she agreed to explore. She let out a squeal of delight, before it was ruined. She looked up and saw the tabby form of Nectarpaw. She gave her fellow clanmate a small smile. She watched her pad over to the group and she sighed. She looked up at Nectarpaw and smiled at her. "No offensive? I'm hurt, Nectarpaw, HURT! I do not always get hurt or get in trouble! I'm an innocent sweet little she-cat!" She lied throught her teeth. "Oh okay, I lied. I'm none of that, but is it wrong to have a sense of adventure?" Daringpaw asked Nectarpaw.
Daringpaw let out a small purr before standing onto her paw and walked right up to Nectarpaw. She flickered her tail in a playful manner. "You could come with us and have some fun, you know. We could have so much fun! You won't be young forever, ya know, so why not enjoy it now why you can."
Wolfpaw looked up at the tabby she-cat and glared. She was an apprentice too. What gave her the nerves. He let out a snarl. He flickered his tail. He stood up onto his paws. "What gives you the right to tell me about what my sister, that orange fluff ball, and me what to do. You are just an apprentice as well! Wolfpaw snapped at her. He then, turned his glaze toward the some rocks were they came from. "I knew someone was following us. Come show yourself!" Wolfpaw didn't give the tom, Stormpaw, a chance to explain himself. Wolfpaw hurled himself behind the rocks toward the tom. Wolfpaw crouched and sprung like his mentor taught him.

Moonpaw let her claws grip the stone as a slight breeze tugged at her fur. She was only slightly above the small group they had formed but she enjoyed the feeling of being able to see the group clearly without looking around. Suddenly a noise caught her attention and small rocks tumbled from above. Moonpaw craned her neck upward and saw a she-cat clawing her way down from the rocky pathway. The small, white she-cat offered her a smile and quickly jumped down from her perch to greet the new comer.
"Hi there I'm Moon-" But Moonpaw never got to introduce herself because Nectarpaw continued on to discuss her clan mate, Daringpaw. Glancing over towards the orange ball of fluff she listened to tabby she-cats criticizing words.
I just wanna tell you right now that following daringpaw anywhere is a really horrible idea. no offense.but literally all she does is either get hurt or get in trouble, and she pretty much does it on purpose.
Moonpaw flicked her ears back in thought and shrugged her shoulders. The older apprentice was probably right, the young Daringpaw had a sense of adventure that seemed almost to the extreme. But Moonpaw had not thought of it till the strange tabby cat spoke of her. Then she heard Daringpaw's com back and she let her icy blue eyes slide over towards her direction.
"No offensive? I'm hurt, Nectarpaw, HURT! I do not always get hurt or get in trouble! I'm an innocent sweet little she-cat!" Moonpaw smiled at the obvious lie. Whens he continued on to admit the truth Moonpaw shook her head and smiled.
You could come with us and have some fun, you know. We could have so much fun! You won't be young forever, ya know, so why not enjoy it now why you can." This was different, Daringpaw's com back made a little bit of sense. The sense of freedom was thrilling and exciting and while all three of them were quite young they were full of energy and thirsted for excitement! You weren't living if you don't go on a adventure or two!
"I agree with Daringpaw, what's the point of being cooped up in those caves while the warriors go out patrolling? I mean we could really help them out. Plus this is a chance we won't get again possibly." Moonpaw replied her eyes traveling back towards the unknown she-cat.
Suddenly her brothers voice appeared and she snapped her eyes in his direction to see him suddenly disappeared from her sight.
---
Stormpaw watched with curious green eyes in the shadow of a boulder. His ears lay flat as he listened to the orange clan mate go on about how great this little adventure they were in. He almost wanted to smack her right upside the head. She was in no position to lead these two tempestclan cats in unknown territory.
He was about to reveal himself to stop this little game of hers when a familiar voice of Nectarpaw hit his ears. She was also in his clan and he crouched down again to hear her put down the three misfits. He snickered slightly from her harsh words towards Daringpaw, not that she didn't deserve it. But then she mentioned the cat following them.
"Mouse dung." Stormpaw breathed, well it was no use hiding anymore. Standing up he was just in time to hear a loud yell from one of the tempestclan cats and a black blur engulf his vision, pinning Stormpaw to the ground from surprise.
"What the- Get off me you great ball of fluff!" Stormpaw growled as wolfpaw landed on top of him. What was going on? Was their really a need to do this? "I'm not your enemy you mouse brain." He snapped his green eyes narrowed from surprise and pushed the smaller male off him to the side near a pile of pebbles. Stormpaw rolled to his side and shook the dust from his fur and sighed. If that was the greeting he was going to get from the first Tempestclan cat he couldn't wait for the rest of the greetings.

nectarpaw cracked a friendly grin- glad daringpaw could roll with the punches. she didn't intend to sound so critical when she had found the group wandering about, but her first instinct was to be appalled to see these poor things following around her less-than-careful clanmate. the tabby jabbed a paw in daringpaw's direction and shook her head, "I don't believe that shit for a heartbeat!" she announced, and bobbed her head, satisfied, when the other she-cat confessed her lie. "much better," nectarpaw laughed, twitching her long tail. she shook her head, then shrugged, obviously a bit indecisive. "yes and no, obviously. it's pretty wrong to lead around these poor scamps who don't know you, or your eye for trouble, any better. it's not wrong but it's, well, dangeous clearly. and you know you're gonna get in trouble, and what if you're responsible for one of these guys getting hurt? gosh daringpaw, you need to think things through." she snorted, but her eyes were dancing. so of course, against her better judgement, she would probably join them. daringpaw was right, and nectarpaw knew she would probably regret it if she passed up the opportunity. she shot a look at the smaller tempestclan cat and nodded, "you'd get the chance, sure enough. there's no way your mentors would pass up the chance to show you around. you're all just too impatient apparently."
she narrowed her eyes when the tempestclan tom piped up, and she shot him a venomous glare. "oh shut up, you're just a little tempestclan furball aren'tcha? fresh outta the nursery? you're half my age, alright?" she meowed, her no-nonsense tone letting wolfpaw know her temper was short with outsiders. "and obviously that counts for something, since you're following daringpaw around. I must have twice the brains!" she watched, with an impatient sigh, when wolfpaw suddenly screeched about the cat following them, "nice observation skills, genius." the older apprentice hiss sarcastically under her breath, and watched the tabby mousebrain catapult after the follower of the group, which turned out to be, as nectarpaw had guessed, another vertigoclan tom. "hey stormpaw." she mewed drily, knowing the black and white fellow only as an acquaintence, but well enough to greet him so casually. after all, they were clanmates. "get off of him you over-aggressive rattail." she snapped at wolfpaw, rolling her eyes. someone clearly had little better to do than sulk around with a bad attitude- but that was tempestclan, wasn't it?

Daringpaw let out a big grin. "I was just making friend and what better way then going on an adventure!" Daringpaw giggled. She flickered her tail in excitement. Her eye dat around the other four apprentice. Wolfpaw and Stormpaw in the mist of a disagreement.
"Oh, Nectarpaw, I'm always in trouble, with Sootwhisker. I'm surprised that he even lets me out of his eye sight!"Daringpaw exclaimed. "Plus, I think we can take any trouble that comes our way!" Daringpaw flffed up her pelt to look imitating, but she just looked like a fluff ball. She realized this and unfluffed her pelt with a shake.
Wolfpaw turned and gave Nectarpaw a snarl. "You are neither my mentor nor a warrior, so save the bossing around for them! He turned away from the she-cat not caring for her much. He turned his glare towards Stormpaw. " There was no need to follow us, you stupid fur-ball! If you wanted to come, you could have, but instead you were a coward and stalked us like we were prey. He said dryly to the tom.
