Look at the world beneath the water
Dance in the fountain
Touch the rainbow
Drink the sunshine
There’s a world
Where you belong
It may not be here
But someone can make it here
Blink in the snow
Fall in the leaves
Believe in paper flowers
Walk down the unknown trail
Love the stars
Smell the pines
Touch the call
Of friends
Hold on
To the life
That you live
Someone can make you stay
Write in the sand
Jump in the waves
Climb the trees
Whisper to that someone
Grip the ice
Break glass
Control lightening
Laugh in the rain
When you think it’s over
Remember that someone makes a difference
When your beat up body is weak
We will stand by you and help you up
Aid the roots
Sing in the woods
Light the candles
Hug in fire
Pray for what’s wrong
Close your eyes
Take our hands
You’re going to be fine
There’s a world
Where you belong
Someone can help you
Realize it too

About: I think I wrote this originally to prove to myself that even though I’m super stressed, I just have to reach out to others because they’re standing there to hold my hand and help me up. The world is still around me and I have to take advantage of our beautiful place. That SOMEONE that I keep talking about could be a friend, a loved one, a family member, and so on. It’s just a stressful time for me, but I’ll be okay.
