[/style] [style=font-size:10px; line-height:9px; margin-bottom:10px; margin-left:30px; padding-right:3px; text-align:justify; width:440]The sun was just peaking above the tree tops when Fawnleaf awoke. Her tortoiseshell pelt shimmered in the light that escaped the entanglement of the brambles that laced the covering of the warriors den. She could hear a cacophony of noises from the stirring VertigoClan camp, all blurring into a mild hum. Flicking her ears, she blinked the sleep, continuously intact on her still-heavy eyelids, and hauled herself to her paws. The pink padding was rough and sore from the previous nights patrol, which had concluded in a continuous stroll through the sharp bracken of undergrowth to camp. With a heavy sigh, she gave a small stretch and headed toward the exit of the den, which was letting in an exceptional amount of light for the time of day. Careful not to tread upon any fellow clanmates tail, Fawnleaf escaped the den with ease and grace, pausing outside for a brief moment. The sunlight was suddenly harsh, causing the elegant she-cat to screw up her face. After a moment of hesitation, she padded forward and began to observe the duties of others in camp.
A few warriors were coming and going from den to den, one delivering fresh-kill to the elders, another checking on kits and queens. The upcoming leaf-fall would be harsh, if it was half of what the new-leaf had been. Almost as quickly as leaf-bare had come, new-leaf had entered, barely giving the cats of the forest time to adjust. The prey had been, and thankfully, still was, plentiful. Still, weather had changed quite rapidly, becoming dangerous at points. Several storms had been the cause of various fallen trees that were now scattered through the forest. Her mind flitting away from the thought of the other clans, the tortoiseshell she-cat quickly moved forward, setting her mind on finding something to do. Glancing halfheartedly at the fresh-kill pile, Fawnleaf felt her stomach drop. It had seemed like only yesterday that she had met with Epiloguefrost, an intriguing tom who had challenged Fawnleaf during a meal. He had queried her as to why she was eating the scrap of food she had chosen, and her answer had been simple. He continued to go on, however, and Fawnleaf had taken quite a liking to him from there on. They had settled down to take a nap, and that was the last they had spoken in a few days, clan life had been quite busy.
Today seemed to be relatively free and easy, though. Fawnleaf could already spot several warriors lounging around camp, looking laid-back and lazy in the suns heat. As much as she longed to join them, she wanted to actually do something today, unlike most other days. Lately, she had experienced an energy burst, which was very unlike herself. Most of the time, she was very lazy and depressed, not caring about appearance or clan life. She still upheld her duties, however, even if she cared not to. Today, like the past couple, was different, though, and the she-cat felt the need to look presentable. She remembered how the few warriors that had been inside the den when she had lye down last night, gawked as she washed herself inside her nest. It had been quite amusing, actually, for they had acted as if they had never seen a cat wash themselves before. She had bit her tongue for quite a while, for how could she laugh without making a fool of herself? A small smile cracking across her maw, the she-cat flicked her tail and sat down, her paws tucked neatly in front of her hind. She curled her tail around her paws, looking prim and proper. Hoping to come across Epiloguefrost, the she-cat waited patiently for whatever fate had in store for her.

EPILOGUEFROSTIt's so crazy. Something in my life, is better than a dream. Distant light floated into the warriors' den and softly touched the eyelids of a white warrior. He slept with his tail curled around his brown mask and he slept soundly. The light although, flickered annoyance in him and he awakened lazily, yawning as he noticed more sleeping cats in the den. Epiloguefrost stood up from his mossy nest and stretched his limbs out, noting the pop from the lack of movement he had been doing. The young tom stood up and carefully dodged around his sleeping clanmates and out into the open of his camp, VertigoClan. Epiloguefrost yawned viciously as he wished the light would disappear, allowing for more sleep to be put in, but he knew that there was so much he could do for the clan before they all awakened. Yet, he like any other cat, couldn't ignore sleep. It was too nice to be warm and in a dream. As Epiloguefrost headed out of the den, he noticed a certain she-cat that stood out to him almost instantly. The she-cat was beautiful in many ways and their first encounter led him to believe that she was more than what she seemed. Fawnleaf was the name of his special she-cat. She was different and she had a mind of her own and without even getting too mad at him, Epiloguefrost had managed to talk to her purely and she was truly the cat to get to know. Fawnleaf was thoughtful and she was the warmer part of his day and whenever he was feeling out of it, somehow he just wanted to be around Fawnleaf. She seemed to make everything a lot better. He had been extremely busy too lately. He had just led a patrol with Bluebell and Gloompaw. Spellpaw was supposed to join the patrol, but she never caught up. Bluebell had been looking sick for a few days in a row as well. Not as badly as other cats he noted. Yet the patrol had been long overdue and he was still worn out from it. He wanted to go out and actually have fun then going out and wanting a patrol to be over with. He was looking more like Gloompaw now; gloomy. He hoped that maybe he could just go out and have fun again, that was what he liked the most about being a warrior. He had a great time as an apprentice, but he wasn't free to just get out of the camp like he was as a warrior, but leading patrols and taking up offers for them was all he seemed to do anymore and he really just needed something to help him relax. Although, his nap with Fawnleaf did help him relax for that short moment. It was nice to just step back from clan life and realize that small things can make him happy too. He noticed then that Fawnleaf looked relatively different. She was...clean. Originally, she hadn't cared what she looked like and refused to wash her pelt off from all the dirt that had collapsed on her. She was even more beautiful because she looked happy. Epiloguefrost walked silently till he came up behind her and he noted too that she was perched in a sitting position that was much more confident. Coming up from behind, he went into a stalking position and stalked up to her side and leveled out into a crouched position just like hers. He then glanced over with his handsome blue eyes and smiled. "Sitting out here all alone or are you waiting for someone?" He purred teasing lightly. He hoped he hadn't scared her, though he wondered if anything actually did scare her. She was so brave to begin with even from just meeting her. She was definitely the kind of she-cat that he liked to be around and it seemed like VertigoClan lacked that in general, she-cats with a heart, a soul, and a mind. But she was enough; enough for him.

Turning toward him, her fur raised, although she was pretending. "Thanks for scaring me!" |
She snarled, although her voice had a hint of playfulness in it. Claws unsheathed, she cuffed the tom over the ear. "You're lucky I didn't pounce on you." She teased, purring. She stopped for a moment. She had been extremely happy lately, was it because of him? Her stomach twinged, revealing the answer she was intimated to hear. Her father had always told her love was useless other than for breeding. Fawnleaf knew otherwise, although she never believed she would actually find it. Was this love? Perhaps this was only a crush, and the feelings would fade. Her stomach flipped again. She didn't exactly want them to fade, for she rather liked the tom. Did he like her too? She stole a glance at him, hoping so. He sure seemed like it, but you could never tell with toms. With a gentle lick to the ear, she replied to his question. "Actually, I was waiting for you." She said suddenly, feeling bold. Not giving the tom time to reply, the tortoiseshell she-cat gave a lick to her paw and sat down again, curling her tail over her paws. "So what do you want to do today? I don't care. I'm not scheduled for any patrols." She replied uneasily. Stealing another glance at him, she shut her mouth, feeling as if she were babbling. Did Epiloguefrost think she was annoying? Tail twitching at the thought, she cast her eyes downward. Say he did, and that just increased it. Would he stop liking her now? Shifting her weight to her other paw, she gave herself a mental shake. Of course not, if you really liked someone, something as simple as that couldn't change your mind. Could it? Epiloguefrost It's so crazy. Something in my life, is better than a dream. Epiloguefrost flinched as Fawnleaf clawed at his ear in her moment of fear. He hissed under his breath, she had a powerful claw for such a small she-cat. The nick in his ear stung badly as if he had been stung by a bee. He shook his head at the small pain tugging at him before she licked his ear and soothed the sting. She was gentle, but ferocious, perfectly able to take care of herself, but would Epiloguefrost let her? Probably not. He would fight for her, he would make sure she was his top priority. Was this affection love? If it was, did she love him too? Questions flooded his mind as he pictured the two of them becoming mates for good and eventually having a family. He would like to think he would have kits with this she-cat. "With this she-cat", with her, he wanted kits with Fawnleaf. But that was too early in their relationship to be thinking of kits, wasn't it? Or did she want to be with him as much as he desperately wanted to be with her? If he asked her, he would probably get another nick in his ear from her claws. But she looked so well kept and very happy, maybe he was boosting her spirits, for she was definitely raising his. "Actually, I was waiting for you," She said calmly, sitting down again before curling her tail over her paws, "So what do you want to do today? I don't care. I'm not scheduled for any patrols." She went on talking before she broke off in what he guessed was a train of thought. Did she think the same way he did, so close, but yet so far away? She probably felt downcast, she showed him affection by licking his ear and he had stood there, with a pain face because it hurt feeling her claws. But she wanted to go out with him and he wanted to go out of the camp with her too. He purred softly and put his tail carefully on her muzzle and whisked it away again. "Actually, I'm not doing anything, but I'd love to go out. It seems like it could be a good day. We could actually just go for a walk if you'd like. Catch some prey here and there, but just enjoy the day while we have it," he said, wanting just a good day with her. A day where they could be together, and maybe they could both figure out what they were feeling. He paced around her before licking her ear softly, "Unless you'd rather do something else," he teased lightly before padding back to stand in front of her.

It was clouded with pain. Had she swiped his ear too harshly? Feeling a bit guilty, Fawnleaf shifted her weight, debating on whether to apologize. "I'm uh... sorry about-" |
She began, becoming cut off when the un-noticing tom continued with the conversation. "Actually, I'm not doing anything, but I'd love to go out. It seems like it could be a good day. We could actually just go for a walk if you'd like. Catch some prey here and there, but just enjoy the day while we have it." She blinked, letting his words sink in a for a moment, however light they may be. With a casual shrug, she made up her mind. "I don't care." She replied, harsher than she meant. Her tone had been dabbled with nonchalance, but the rest of it was laced with stone cold expression. Flicking her tail, the VertigoClan she-cat glanced at Epiloguefrost. She felt bad for the tom, always having to deal with her. She was always so sarcastic and rude, not really caring what others think. She had grown quite attached to the tom, though, after he had willingly approached her during what the other clan cats called 'sharing tongues' time. She had been quite rude back then, bitter, but slightly distant. The tom had put up with it, though, which was something that had surprised Fawnleaf. Now she had gone and done it again- be bitter and cold- although this time on accident. Would the tom forgive her? Slightly gnashing her tongue against her teeth, forced a purr. She should at least try to seem happy, right? Of course, he seemed to enjoy himself when she was happy. Although still calm on the outside, the previous though had struck a chord on her inside. Fawnleaf's stomach flipped. Did Epiloguefrost like her? He had put up with her, after all. Maybe he was just being friendly, though. But what if he did like her? Did she like him back? Pausing to assess the possibility, the she-cat felt her stomach harden. Her father had always taught her not to love; other than to breed, it was a foolish thing. However, that was one thing she had never listened to, although it was her fathers preaching. Fawnleaf strongly believed in love, in affection, in compassion, and she was positive it existed, she had seen it in her own eyes amongst her own clan. But she had always thought she was not capable of it; nor were others, when it came to feeling it toward her. Her mother had always told her to treat others how she wanted to be treated, and she treated her clanmates with bitterness, hatred, distance, and disgust. Most of them treated her the same, but then there was Epiloguefrost, who was the complete opposite. The tom had been so kind to her, so perhaps he did care for her. Did he care more than a friend? Shivering a little, the tortoiseshell she-cat felt her insides freeze. Did he care enough, to be her mate? To want kits? An image of the two cats together flashed through the she-cats mind, making her ears flick in response. She could see them clearly, they got along well, but would kits fit into the picture? What would others of the clan see? Would she be a good mother? Stopping her thoughts, the she-cat took a shaky breath, focusing her attention back on the VertigoClan tom. She was getting too ahead of herself. [/style] [style=background-color:#50896C; color:#c1c6bb; font-family:ms gothic; font-size:10px; line-height:10px; margin-bottom:-1px; margin-left:30px; text-align:center; text-transform:uppercase; width:443]PUSH MY BODY UP AGAINST THE WALL AND PICK YOUR POISON[/style] [style=border-top:1px dotted; font-size:9px; line-height:9px; margin-bottom:10px; margin-left:30px; text-align:center; width:443] [/style]

EPILOGUEFROSTIt's so crazy. Something in my life, is better than a dream. Sometimes I wonder if I should confess my affections for her. Wouldn't you think I should? Wouldn't every cat believe I should? But what if she doesn't like me the same way. What if she rejects me so hard that I falter in being friends with her. Sometimes I wonder if I really am brave enough to face anything, but sometimes I'm scared to try. But today I'm going to do it. Whether we even get out into the forest or not, I'm going to do it. I'm going to say it to her. I love you, Fawnleaf. So simple, to walk out into the forest and express one's affections to another. So simple yet so scary at the same time. Epiloguefrost gazed at the she-cat before him. She sometimes was a little awkward when speaking to him, but he would never accuse her of it. Why would he? She was so nice, putting up with him. He didn't have many friends in VertigoClan. More than once he wished he had enough courage to actually talk to more cats than he did. But still, Jetfang was a great friend. And Fawnleaf was more than what he asked for. He could see it now, having a family in VertigoClan. A mate, some kits, he would like that. Oh yes, he would really like that. But the problem was telling Fawnleaf. He was certain Fawnleaf was the she-cat for him. He had never felt some much affection for any cat before and Fawnleaf made his heart soar as it was. He wasn't sure if she felt the same and now his mind was set. He was going to say it today. "Fawnleaf," he gulped, sitting next to her he twined his tail with hers, hoping she wouldn't give him another scratch on his other ear, "Have you ever thought of love? Or even, have you ever thought you were in love?" Why couldn't he spit it out already!? "I guess what I'm trying to say is, I like you like more than a friend. Basically, I think I love you. And not even I think! Ha, no, I'm pretty sure, I'm unbelievably sure that Fawnleaf, I'm in love with you," He let his icy blue gaze travel softly into Fawnleaf's gaze and he a purr rumbled in his throat. What would she say? What would she do? He wasn't ready for heartbreak! Please let her feel the same way as he! He didn't break his gaze although his heart was racing and pumping faster than it would if he were running in the forest and his paws shook lightly for he was so nervous. What now!?

[/style] [style=font-size:10px; line-height:9px; margin-bottom:10px; margin-left:30px; padding-right:3px; text-align:justify; width:440]The tortoiseshell she-cat was taken aback by the toms words. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she listened to him speak. She could tell her was nervous, but who wouldn't be? Vaguely, she noticed his tail becoming entwined with hers, but she couldn't concentrate on it for long. The toms words were sputtering, his confidence both waning and growing. When he finally finished, Fawnleaf was speechless. "Epiloguefrost..." She whispered, being all she could manage. No one had ever confessed to her; hell, no one had ever even liked her. This was not to say she did not know of love; but only the family affection, not the hot, romantic love. Not the kind that kept you warm in the winter with its fiery flames. Bile rose in the she-cats mouth. Mousedung, she was becoming sappy. Realizing she had not yet replied to the tom, the tortoiseshell she-cat paused for a moment, opening her jaw as if to speak, and then abruptly closing it again. What could she say? Did she feel the same back? The question burned in her mind, prodding at her heart. She had never let someone in, until Epiloguefrost had showed up. Even then, she had continued to stay guarded. Would she let someone in now? Could she let someone in? With a quick bite to the tongue, Fawnleaf began her reply. "Epiloguefrost, no one has ever said anything so sweet." She paused, adding a slight purr. "I must admit, you caught me off guard. I don't really know what to say." She admitted, sounding defeated. "But that isn't to say I don't love you back." |
She muttered quickly, cursing her lack of words. "It's just..." The female paused, lost in her words. It's just what? She thought to herself, trying to summon the words. She loved him back, right? Of course. So why couldn't she say it? Was there something wrong with her? Frustration flooded off of the she-cat, her anxiety pulsing from her in waves. "Oh to hell with it." She grumbled. "I guess, I am in love with you, too, Epiloguefrost." She finished, her pelt raised with embarrassment. She had never imagined those words would ever float from her maw, let alone to a tom like Epiloguefrost. But it was the truth, the reality, and believe it or not, Fawnleaf was happy about it. In fact, she could picture them with kits. Kits... The word made the blood roar in her ears. Did she truly want kits? Did she want to give up the life of a warrior? Of course, it wouldn't be forever, but nonetheless, her ultimate goal was to become leader, and how could she do that with kits? It was against the Warrior Code for any female medicine cat, deputy, or leader to have kits. Did she love Epiloguefrost enough to give up her goals, her dreams? Would she throw it all away, just for him? Fawnleaf knew the answer, but would not acknowledge it.

EPILOGUEFROSTIt's so crazy. Something in my life is better than a dream. A purr rumbled through Epiloguefrost's throat as he listened to Fawnleaf speak. Finally! He was getting somewhere! Happiness flooded through him. That feeling someone gets when they are really excited, but scared, but overall too nervous and happy to say or do anything else? That was going on in Epiloguefrost's stomach at the moment. It was a little too much and it ached his stomach. Come on, Fawnleaf loved him too. Everything should be all happy-go-lucky now right? Well, the white tom didn't want to take any chances of ruining the relationship. But he was so happy. He almost felt like a kit again, but he had to control all of the energetic emotions going on in his head...not to mention in his stomach as well. Quietly, he let his purr soften and he carefully leaned forward, heart beating over his normal speed with thumping pressure, and he touched his nose to her cheek in an affectionate way. "I can't even tell you how happy I am to hear you say that." he said softly, taking his icy blue eyes away from hers and looked at his chest where the fur had fluffed up three times the normal size. He licked it quickly and then turned his head back up to hers. It was amazing really. They were so different. They had different beliefs, different attributes, different everything, but that made them stronger. He loved her, no doubt about it, but where would this go now? Kits? the thought rang in his head. He would love to have kits one day. He wanted to be a father badly and kits would be a blessing for the both of them. They would be lovely....but he was getting a little ways ahead of himself. He needed to slow down his thought process. He could just see Fawnleaf killing him if he thought too much into the future....yeah...he'd slow down. Biting the inside of his cheek, Epiloguefrost opened his mouth in a slight yawn. He was semi tired, but that wouldn't get to him now. He still wanted to bounce around with ecstatic joy, but that would look silly....maybe he'd do it later. "Might I add, how happy you've made this tom," he mused lightly, "I'm not even kidding, I was very nervous to tell you, but it had to be done. I would have exploded if I didn't tell you so here I am." he hoped he didn't sound like a complete idiot, but for now, Epiloguefrost didn't care. This was one of the happiest moments of his life.

[/style] [style=font-size:10px; line-height:9px; margin-bottom:10px; margin-left:30px; padding-right:3px; text-align:justify; width:440]The tortoiseshell she-cat felt oddly happy herself. Joyful, even. She didn't know why; it was only an admittance of love. It was nothing special, right? Right. Fawnleaf went rigid for a moment, watching as Epiloguefrost licked her cheek. Purring softly, she kneaded the ground softly. His affection felt nice, warm and passionate. She had never felt affection so fiercely before. Perhaps from her mother, but that was different. The she-cat listened to the tom ramble on, but in the good way. Hearing him express his emotions was enjoyable, if nothing else. As he finished, she purred. "Hush hush." |
She teased, wiping her tail across his muzzle in a gesture for an attempt at silence. Her whiskers quivered, she was being so playful and nice. Fawnleaf was never playful and nice; she had always been evil and spiteful and mean. What was it about this tom that changed her? It was not necessarily a bad change, but it was something new and different to the she-cat. The VertigoClan warrior was not used to change, but perhaps she could learn it was for the better. Twitching her tail, Fawnleaf looked at Epiloguefrost. "So, what would you like to do now? We kinda got side tracked." She said, half scoffing half laughing at the end. They were quite the unique pair. {You have no idea how unbelievably sorry I am this is so short. But I'm writing this at like 8 pm before homework otherwise it'll never get done. EPILOGUEFROSTIt's so crazy. Something in my life, is better than a dream. Epiloguefrost purred at his....what were they now? Mates? Yes, he supposed so. They were mates now. How different. All's well though. Fawnleaf only scoffed and asked what they were going to do now. What would they do now? Hunting, yes, that was a good way to spend the beautiful day. And besides, the clan should be first. He would have nothing less, especially since he was in a super good mood now. The cream tom blinked his sapphire gaze over towards the VertigoClan camp exit and nodded slowly. Twitching his white whiskers, he turned to Fawnleaf. "How about hunting? That sounds like a good plan. Especially since it's a very pretty day out, the prey won't know what hit them." Epiloguefrost crouched into stealth mode and tiptoed away dramatically before standing again to pounce. His white paws hit his target, a scrap of moss that was left behind. He blinked over to Fawnleaf and purred before standing up again. "No, but seriously, it'll be fun," he laughed. Everything was much easier and calmer now. He was glad he had gotten if off of his chest. Epiloguefrost pointed his tail tip towards the entrance before backing up slowly, one paw at a time away from Fawnleaf. He kept his gaze fixed on her pelt, but was still backing up. Come on, just come to the exit so we can hunt. It was a nice day, let them enjoy it; let them embrace it; let them be alone.

The sky was clear now, the last tuffs of clouds drifting off. It relieved Fawnleaf, this meant they could enjoy a hunt without complications. She dug her claws into the soft soil beneath, resisting the urge to stretch. She could feel Epiloguefrost's nervousness coming off in waves before, so great they were almost drown her; as if she were stranded out in the lake. However, after his great confession, it was now apparent he felt more at ease- more comfortable. Of course he's more comfortable.
The she-cat thought to herself impatiently. Why wouldn't he be? We're mates now... The thought struck her with a feeling that somewhat resembled surprise. She had just agreed to being his mate, and she had indeed been both mentally and physically present; however, the thought was still new a foreign. The she-cat thought back, a couple of sunrises ago, perhaps more, when he had first approached her at the fresh-kill pile. Back then, the VertigoClan she-cat had been so stubborn and grumpy that she knew for sure she would have chased him off. However, it seemed to be a different case now. The thought hadn't occurred to her previously, back when he first took interest in her and made his presence know- the she-cat could have never guessed that in such short of time, she would find herself loving him. She would find herself staring the face of a confession, and she would say yes. If you had told the old Fawnleaf that, she would have scoffed and walked away. But now, now was a different story. Now, she was considering raising a family with the tom, and she knew they would be together forever. Fawnleaf thought of her father, and his harsh words, for perhaps the twentieth time that day. Instantly, he was replaced by the fine imagery of her mother, and she knew that her mother had been right. A pang of both sadness and loneliness struck in the calico, for she missed her mother with great sorrow. It was as if someone had pierced her heart with a sudden, sharp thorn. She shivered, as a tear of grief wept from the hollow container. She turned to Epiloguefrost, now tuning into what he was saying. After a moment, she blinked, trying to shake the grief. "Oh, yeah, sure. Hunt..." The words that emptied from her maw seemed hallow and short, and she hoped the tom wouldn't notice. As he receded into the tunnel, aiming for the forest, she twitched her tail and quietly stalked him, although she knew he was watching her, waiting for her. What would their adventures bring them? She crept forward, anticipation coursing through the blood that was still roaring in her ears; although she couldn't quite shake the eerie echo of her mothers words... EPILOGUEFROSTIt's so crazy. Something in my life, is better than a dream. Blinking in anxiety, Epiloguefrost watched Fawnleaf's mood switch off. Letting out a soft whine, almost like a dog, he tried searching through the conversation to see where he had gone wrong. Was it that he didn't even need to continue the conversation because he felt comfortable? Was it suggesting to go hunt? Or was it suggesting and assuming she was alright with everything? He assumed, yet again, that that was the problem. Pausing, Epiloguefrost laid his icy blue stare gently down on Fawnleaf. His brown mask fluffed up and his white tail wrapped around his paws. "What is it?" His question and expression was genuine worry. He didn't want to upset Fawnleaf. Not because they were mates now, but because she meant a lot to him. He'd want to do what she wanted. "We don't have to hunt. In fact, we can do whatever you'd like. Plus, I won't be all happy all the time if that's bothering you." It was an innocent statement, everything about him was innocent. But he really just wanted to please her. That's all that mattered. The oddball tom looked at Fawnleaf with the same friendly expression he had before. He didn't want to drown her in the happiness and love he was feeling right now. A couple was hard to produce. Crushes and friendly friends were easy to come by, but love? That was the strongest power to gain in the Clans. Epiloguefrost had found someone like that, but loving also was hard. It would be difficult at first, but as time went by, Fawnleaf and Epiloguefrost would come to realize how simple life could be. And how simple it will be.

The calico she-cat felt a pang of sympathy as the tom sounded a whimper. She knew she was causing him trouble and worry- but she couldn't help it. She tried not to, but sometimes, things just couldn't be helped. Like now, for instance. She should be happy, not sad and begrudging. But her mothers words continued to echo in her mind. Shaking her head, she stared at Epilgouefrost. "Epigloguefrost..." She whimpered sadly. "It's... not you. It's me. I mean, what I'm feeling."
She struggled out- cautious at admitting her feelings; even if it were to her own mate. Fawnleaf had never been a sharing type of cat. "I should be so happy... And I am, don't get me wrong, but for some reason, I'm feeling grief. And sadness. And anger. And I don't know what to do about it." She choked out, her entire body beginning to droop. Her tail collapsed onto thce ground. She looked up into her mates eyes. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to drag you down." She replied quietly, although she could not pick herself up off the ground. Her shoulders sagged, and her WIP. YES I KNOW IT SUCKS ASS. DONT MURDER ME.
