[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background, i51.tinypic.com/zxzwp.jpg] NAME// Flareheart AGE// twenty-four moons GENDER// she-cat CLAN// TempestClan DESIRED POSITION// Warrior SHORT DESCRIPTION// A playful, silver tabby she-cat with burning amber eyes.
DESCRIPTION// It isn't a harsh, cold beauty the she-cat has. She doesn't have slanted, almond eyes with a dark lining. She didn't have a lush, fluffy pelt or a plume for a tail. She didn't have a lusciously supple body. She didn't have that mysterious smile that most she-cats spend years trying to perfect. Rather, she has a superior, rare beauty. She's irresistible with strong bone structure and smooth features. Her bright, burning amber eyes are shameless and brave, unnerving almost anyone with their daring gaze. Her smile is something private and special, something that only appears during moment just she understand, secretive and amused, or during an intimate moment spent laughing or grinning with friends. It's dazzling in it's radiance and could move a queen to tears with it's innocent joy. Her pelt is soft and lose to her body, thick while short, and as soft as downy feathers or a rabbit's coat. It's silver in color, as if the metal had been melted down and woven into her fur by StarClan themselves. Like real spun silver. This appearance coupled with her lithe figure and strong muscles, she is a force to be reckoned with. She has the kind of beauty that's like a treasure, both rare and hungered. Toms valued her commanding beauty deep in their primal core. Their attraction to the symmetrical and strong look of her body could be traced back to the beginning of feline kind, for all they wanted then was a suitable mate to produce the perfect kits. But of course, you add the intelligence of a modern cat to that instinct, and you have very intimidated cats staring at something that couldn't touch but so desperately wanted. She had an untouchable, commanding beauty. PERSONALITY// Flareheart has quite the hidden strength, and is often underestimated because of her appearance. It is never long before she sets the record straight, though, and proves that although she may seem joyful and optimistic, she is anything but naive.
Somewhat on the quiet side, Flareheart is often perceived as mature and much older than she actually is. Her mother has always joked that she was an old soul, though if you spent a little time getting to know the silver warrior, you would discover that there is definitely truth to that statement. Flareheart is calm and careful. She always seems to think before she speaks, and her thoughts seem to swing between entirely unreadable and painted on her face. The she-cat is generally quite level-headed, but this is partly because she forces herself to be. She finds that she thinks and works best this way. While some cats thrive on nervous energy or anger, Flareheart thrives on her passion for others. There are, of course, times where she will become incredibly frustrated and snappy, and she throws her fair share of tantrums, but those are few and far between.
Flareheart is a thinker (sometimes an overthinker) with dedication and a thirst for knowledge. She has both an eye for detail and a knack for problem solving, which she puts to use with a kind of focus and drive that many people struggle to attain. When she puts her mind to something, it pretty much always gets done by hook or by crook. What takes some encouragement is the first part; her tendency to overthink can make her leery about committing to a goal if she doesn't have some kind of support system behind her. She is quite lucky in this regard, as she has always had someone backing her in all facets of her life, though this could certainly prove to be a weakness for her later on.
Considering Flareheart's intellectual nature, it should come as no surprise that she doesn't like to be written off as just a pretty face. In fact, she doesn't like to be written off at all. Cocky is certainly not the word to describe her, but she knows that she is smart and has an engaging personality, and even if they aren't appreciated she would at least like to be seen as more than her physical appearance and more than her age. The former already occurs quite often, which is why she has, for the time being, written off toms. However, this has come at a rather inopportune time. Now twenty-four moons, she is beginning to come into her own sexually and is finding that she's having a rather...odd time of it. This isn't in the usual “awkward adolescence” way, either; she is fairly comfortable with herself and her appearance and doesn't have to “discover” anything. What is most embarrassing to her is that she can actually be quite flirty and forward around males, often without even meaning to. This can – and often does – compound the issue of having her brains taken for granted.
When it comes to anything emotional, Flareheart doesn't like to get in too deep until she feels comfortable and confident in both the situation and herself, which generally takes time and, you guessed it, thought. She'll stick a toe in to test things out, maybe wade in a bit, but not fully immerse herself until she is sure of her footing. This is something of a non-issue when it comes to the other gender, but it does apply to others in her life, including family and friends. She may love to laugh and smile and generally be around other cats, but she still has problems getting close. While she currently craves someone to fill the hole her brother left, she is also wary of becoming too close to someone and having to deal with another loss so soon after such a big one. This is one case, though, where her need for encouragement and support are winning out over her need for stability.
EXPERIENCE// She was raised by Clovertail and Blackear, two loyal senior warriors to TempestClan, along with her brother, Stagkit. They were raised well with love and adoration from both parents. Stagkit and Flarekit had a wonderful relationship, and Stagkit was quite protective of her. It had been obvious from the start that Flarekit would one day be the greatest beauty of the forest, and Stagkit was told by his parents early on to protect her at all costs, from all threats. Flarekit greatly loved her brother, and looked up to him like her hero. They became apprentices together and received the names Stagpaw and Flarepaw, both paired with the perfect mentors. It was when they were eight moons old that their father was taken by greencough during a particularly tough winter. The whole family had been devastated and shocked, but life went on. They soon moved on to be warriors by the names of Flareheart and Stagfoot, and their mother moved into the elder's den. Flareheart was a wonderful warrior. She was an excellent hunter and fighter, and served her Clan without question, as did Stagfoot. He became even more protective of her as she grew into herself, flowering into shocking beauty. There was one day, recently when Flareheart had been out hunting with Stagfoot when there was a badger they stumbled upon. They both fought to lumbering creature valliantly, but Stagfoot ended up taking a fatal blow for Flareheart when it looked like she was going to meet her end. Because of his sacrifice, Flareheart had successfully chased away the badger. By the time she got him back to camp, it was too later. Stagfoot joined StarClan. Now, only a moon after this devastating loss, Flareheart still mourns with her elder mother. She often visits her mother, for Clovertail is frail and is most certainly going to see her final days within the next few moons. Flareheart tries her best not to think about it, but she knows it's inevitable that soon, she would be alone, and at a very young age. OTHER// sorry for the REALLY crappy history. i have ZERO muse. seriously.
